Open Source Blue Prints as Civilisation Restart Kit
Machines: Global Village Construction Set

Can industrial productivity can be achieved on a small scale?

Marcin Jakubowski figured out which 50 machines would be needed for civilization to exist: tractors,
bread ovens, circuit makers and the like.

He published Do It Yourself schematics with open source technology online for people to build their own machines.

8 of the 50 are now complete.

The goal is to create a repository of designs so complete that a single DVD is effectively a civilization starter kit.

You can now build your own tractor for a fraction of the cost of a conventional one!

This is a brilliant achievement! :clap

The Global Village Construction Set (GVCS) is a modular, DIY, low-cost, high-performance platform that allows for the easy fabrication of the 50 different Industrial Machines that it takes to build a small, sustainable civilization with modern comforts. We’re developing open source industrial machines that can be made at a fraction of commercial costs, and sharing our designs online for free.
