I loved that show "Unsolved Mysteries" wish they would bring it back.

Here's my theory on that goo. A tornado of some sort sucked up water from a waste treatment settlement pond and the goo solidified within by attaching to dust particles. This added enough weight to overcome the updraft and got dumped onto the unsuspecting town. No crazy government or such spreading disease. |
