I can honestly say we have nearly used all the preps from last year. Not too many leftovers - mainly dried pasta. Seems I was a bit ambitious storing dried penne pasta and lasagna!

Oh well, at least they keep, right?

We are also down to 2 quarts and 3 pints of green beans grown in the garden last year. Sadly, we have not eaten the black eyed peas I froze from last year. I stupidly cooked the peas before freezing and they are like mush.

I drank all the stored water bottles at the gym over the winter. We've also used all the stored gallons of water, too.

Time to once, again, begin to stock up for hurricane season and other disasters.

How's everyone else doing?

P.S. - I still have my MRE's from Ike and the vegan dried food bucket I bought at Costco stored. We have not been into these long term stores.
