Preparation For A Poleshift Handcrank Electricity
This thread is for the posting of suggestions and contributions focused on how to prepare for the poleshift many are convinced is in our near future.
To start things off, I recommend that anyone who wishes to rely on electricity in one form or another should check out the "Weza", manufactured by Free Play Energy. You can find it at

My "List", not necessarily in order of importance:
1) Establish at least one "safe area/bug-out location". Keep it as high above sea level as possible (at least 650 feet), away from any coast-line or fault-line or volcano - even extinct volcanoes - and away from major urban areas. Keep a map of as many alternate routes of getting there as possible, as earth changes and groups of blockading/marauding humans may make one route more dangerous than another.
2) Keep your vehicle topped-off with gasoline and enough fuel in extra tanks as can allow you to get to your destination in the event service stations are closed or jam-packed or the price too exorbitant.
3) Put together a 'basic kit' that consists of a coat, a raincoat, a tent, sleeping bag, first-aid kit, canteen/water bottle, small tool kit, cooking kit, a Swiss-army type of knife, a defensive 'weapon', flashlight, nylon rope (3/8"x100' is a good start) and a tarp (for either collecting water or for use as a tent or lean-to later on). You may want to also add a collection of seeds to this 'core' kit.
4) Know who to expect whent TSHTF; broach the subject now with those who you expect to be in your immediate environment when the changes start to happen in earnest. For those who show ridicule, don't force the issue, just remember to avoid them when the time comes. For those open to the idea, see how far they are willing to plan for. Too much 'survivalism' and they may resist, so be careful as to how you present the situation.
