LABOR (Australian Labor Party) = DEMOCRATS LIBERAL (Liberal/National Party) = REPUBLICANS GREENS = GREENS PAULINE HANSON = SARAH PALIN Liberal Democrats (Liberal Democratic Party) = LIBERTARIAN PARTY ("DEPLORABLES") VICTORIA = NEW YORK CITY NEW SOUTH WALES = CALIFORNIA QUEENSLAND = FLORIDA WESTERN AUSTRALIA = TEXAS SOUTH AUSTRALIA = ILLINOIS NORTHERN TERRITORY = ARIZONA TASMANIA = MAINE AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY = WASHINGTON DC America's overall politics is about 20% towards the right of all Australian politics. For example Australia has bipartisan support for gun laws, universal healthcare and legal abortion. On the flip side though, we also have bipartisan support for our equivalent of "build a wall" called "stop the boats" which is offshore detention centres for illegal immigrants. I Hope this clears up A LOT of our politics |
