The 4.8-magnitude earthquake at 6.04 p.m. local time (0004 GMT Thursday) was centered approximately 25 miles (45 kilometers) east-northeast of Jackson, a town located in the Jackson Hole valley of Teton County. Fracking, anyone? Three earthquakes recorded in ... Oklahoma? OKLAHOMA CITY — At least three earthquakes shook much of central Oklahoma early Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. A 4.7 magnitude quake struck at 2:12 a.m. (3:12 a.m. ET), with an epicenter about six miles north of Prague in southern Lincoln County, the USGS reported on its website. That is about 50 miles east of Oklahoma City.
