China May Make 100 Million H1NI Vaccine Doses in First Quarter Last Updated: November 1, 2009 21:33 EST By Bloomberg News http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid= ... 5PLWpoJ7sA Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- China may be able to produce 100 million doses of swine flu vaccine in the first quarter of next year as companies boost capacity, the Ministry of Health said in a statement on its Web site. The nation’s current vaccine production capacity is “limited” and fails to provide sufficient supplies for immunizations, the ministry said yesterday. China’s government is working to maximize capacity and enhance research and development of vaccines, according to the ministry. _________________ |
