Via Iceland Review Online: Pigs in Iceland catch swine flu. Excerpt: Pigs from the pork farm Minni-Vatnsleysa in Iceland have been infected by the H1N1 swine flu virus, as confirmed by the University of Iceland’s Institute for Experimental Pathology at Keldur. The Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority reported on the infection this morning. As soon as suspicion of the infection arose yesterday, limitations were placed on the transport of live animals from the farm and all precautions tightened.
