Ontario kicks off Emergency Preparedness Week
The province of Ontario is kicking off Emergency Preparedness Week, encouraging residents to be ready for the unexpected.
People are being asked to take the "Be Prepared" challenge online to test their knowledge for weather or man-made emergencies during the 15th annual event.
Various EP week partners – including emergency responders such as police and paramedics – set up displays at Queens Park to share tips on how to be ready for an emergency.
