Dan is still very congested and I cannot allow him to be up and around just yet. His congestion combined with his heart problem makes it just too risky. I will provisionally allow him back online and doing research Wednesday, January 2, 2008.

To all the TT members, our apologies, but I must demand he gets the rest he needs. A serious upper respiratory condition could lead to pneumonia and take him from us, and if I have any power to stop that - believe me I will! We will both be inside the tank on Wednesday, as things begin moving forward to March.

The recent death of Benazir Bhutto has struck him very hard. That added to the illness was the sign I had to step in.

Additionally, while he remains in bed, we were graciously allowed to provide a statement about Benazir and Pakistan, for Project Camelot. I am echoing here for everybody. Dan, from bed, continues to record his daily diary. I have transcribed the emotional and inspiring words from someone (Dan) who was very close to the great Benazir Bhutto, and I think you may even hear her speaking as the words come from him.

As I legally own Dan's life story, it is my choice when or how such video/audio is ever released. This is one bit of audio you should hear. We have word that several people in Pakistan, nearest Benazir are awaiting Dan's words, given the centrality of Pakistan and South Asia to imminent world developments.

On the 27th of December, 2007, another in a long line of martyrs entered into eternal rest, in both the struggle for the democratic self determination of Pakistan and the cause of the Peace of Islam. To the Great People of Pakistan: Peace be unto you! I beg that those of you who may read this humble appeal, a fraction of the populous and a few of those in position to lead, may receive it with the sole intent of love from which it is offered! The right condemnation now echoing through the great sea of Nation States of this planet, against those who would remove from your rightful possession, the power given to you by the Creator, to design for yourselves the path to your human freedom, has been heard in each and every corner of the globe. The good people of this world have turned their ears and eyes toward your cries and we stand with you in your hopes and dreams for a peaceful and prosperous future! You have the same right to the Magna Carta for your land, your Charter of Democracy, as those who have preceded you, and are as equally strong as any other people to stand by the rule of law, while also demanding that those duly elected are subject to those same standards. Impending Oil Peak

With the price of oil climbing and the world's heavy dependency on this fossil fuel, estimates of just how much oil we have left are critical knowledge for governments and policy makers. A new study this year predicted that global oil production could peak as soon as 2008, and would likely do so before 2018. After this peak, production would decline, causing potential supply problems, though experts disagree on just how much oil might be left in the Earth.

Antarctic Surprises

Earth's southernmost continent yielded a host of surprises this year. Satellite lasers detected a series of previously unknown subglacial lakes under the Antarctic ice, which drain and fill very rapidly and could shed light on how water below the surface moves ice streams above. An undersea expedition found several strange creatures, including sea lilies, sea cucumbers and a psychedelic octopus, thriving on the sea floor beneath a collapsed ice sheet, adding to the unexpected biodiversity found in one of the world's most pristine marine environments.

Drought

While a severe drought brought parts of the Southeast to its knees for several months this fall, those living in the Southwest (which has been in drought for years, if you buy the new definition of drought) may have a more extended drought to contend with... for the next 90 years. A study in the journal Science found that Earth's warming temperature could shift wind and rain patterns so that dry areas become drier and wet areas become wetter, leaving places like the American Southwest permanently parched.

Endangered Animals

Despite some good news for endangered animals, such as the discovery of a massive wildlife migration across previously war-torn southern Sudan, animals are becoming increasingly under threat by deforestation and other forms of habitat destruction, pollution and poaching. In its annual Red List of Threatened Species, the World Conservation Union announced that 200 species moved closer to extinction in 2007, with more than 40,000 species, including gorillas, dolphins, corals and many species of birds and fish, total on the list.

Coral Cold Sores

Between warming seas, pollution and overfishing, coral reefs have had it rough in recent years, and this year was no exception. Scientists at San Diego State University found that when humans and reefs are neighbors, reefs just can't compete and become susceptible to diseases, particularly herpes viruses. Corals don't just get cold sores, however. They die. Another study found that all these stresses are killing coral reefs off faster than previously thought, causing them to disappear twice as fast as rainforests on land.

Carbon Dioxide

Despite the dire predictions of scientists of the effects of continuing to emit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, one study this year found that emission rates are actually accelerating because of the rising amount of the gas needed to produce one unit of wealth and the declining efficient of Earth's natural carbon sinks. Other studies showed how much carbon dioxide these sinks were taking up, with drought reducing the amount of carbon dioxide that plants take up, but forest growth increasing the amount that trees siphon out of the atmosphere. Just what effect will win out will be seen in the coming years and will present challenges to governments making plans to curb emissions.

Good and Bad News on Alternative Energy

Natural gas came a step closer to being used in everyday cars with the development of a new storage tank that makes the fuel source a better option for more compact vehicles. Ethanol had a roller coaster year with some research improving its possible use–one team developed earless corn that could be a better source of the biofuel and other researchers used cow stomach fluid to better break down the raw material for use in a fuel cell. But other scientists called into question the advisability of using ethanol as a fuel source because it may take more energy to produce than it provides and may be more harmful than gasoline. Further research in the coming years may determine whether ethanol becomes the new gasoline or whether biofuels go bust.

Extreme Weather

Several studies this year pointed out that our addition of increasing amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere are prodding Earth's climates to varying extremes. One study found that more hurricanes are forming now than a century ago, threatening the millions of people that live along the world's coastlines, though some argue that this may not be the case because old storm records could be incomplete–Victorians didn't have satellites after all. Other studies find that European heat waves are longer than they used to be and predict long scorching summers in story for parts of Europe, particularly the Mediterranean, in the future.

Arctic Meltdown

This was a bad year for polar bears too, as summer ice melt reached a record extent in the Arctic. (Greenland too saw a record level of melt, enough to cover twice the area of the United States.) While the melt was a boon to marine vessels, opening up the fabled Northwest Passage, it could spell trouble for the polar environment, and the globe, if it keeps up each year. Two studies found that winter sea ice has been retreating and growing thinner in recent years, and massive summer melts could start a downward spiral decreasing permanent ice at the North Pole in the coming decades.

Climate Change

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued its fourth report this year and its strongest statement yet that human activities are a prime cause of global warming. The scientists who wrote the report warned of the potentially catastrophic and unstoppable changes that could occur if emissions of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide are not curbed, including droughts, sea level rise, more severe weather, melting of glaciers and polar ice and floods. Even if man-made emissions are curtailed, the global warming's effects will likely continue for centuries, the report stated.

SOUTH BEND — For nearly 2,000 years, it's been the one puzzle astronomers haven't been able to fully solve. But now, one Notre Dame professor thinks he may have discovered the origin of the star of Bethlehem.

The star of Bethlehem plays a pivotal role in the Christmas story.

Still, it's role in the Bible is fairly small. In fact, there's only one reference — in the Gospel of Matthew. "Where is he born the King of the Jews?" it reads. "For we have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him."

But did that star really exist? If so, where was it? What was it? Why was it so bright?

They are questions Notre Dame Astrophysicist Dr. Grant Mathews began to ask about three years ago. And what he found took him by surprise.

"The standard viewpoint over the years is that it's a massing of planets, or what we call planetary conjunction, when planets move past each other," he said.

But here's the curious thing:

Mathews says this conjunction wasn't just a few planets.

"Basically every known planet at the time was amassed all at once," he said.

And it wasn't anything astronomers had recorded before.

"To have all of them line up like that at once was a very rare event," Mathews said.

On April 17, 6 B.C., Jupiter, Saturn, the sun, and the moon all aligned in the constellation Aries. Venus and Mars lined up in neighboring constellations.

Dr. Mathews says, for the so called "wise men" this would have had great significance.

"That would have signaled to the Magi that there was newborn leader with a special destiny — a very powerful leader that was going to appear in Jerusalem," he said.

But Mathews wasn't convinced the planets fully explained that bright light in the East referenced in the Gospel of Matthew. So he went "back in time" to see if something else might have been there too.

He found two likely candidates. The first, is a nova — a combination of two stars that shines thousands of times brighter than a normal star.

The second is a supernova — a single star 10-20 times the size of our sun that collapses in a massive nuclear explosion. Supernovas can create light up to 100 million times as bright as a normal star.

"It is as bright as this entire galaxy of stars," Mathews said, pointing to a picture from NASA's Hubble Telescope.

Using other Hubble images, pictures from the Chandra X-Ray Observer Satellite, and ancient Chinese astronomy charts, Mathews scanned the skies and was astonished.

"Sure enough, in the archives, there is a supernova in Aquilla — the constellation they saw. And it's about 2,000 years old," he said.

It's called Kestovan 75, and it appeared about the same time as the planetary alignment 4 to 6 B.C.

But is that close enough to Jesus' birth?

Some Biblical scholars say it's possible. Records of the birth aren't completely accurate. And for that matter, neither is the determined age of the star.

And that's not enough to prove the star's existence to everyone.

"It's a really neat coincidence, but I don't know if it adds any weight to the Christmas story," said one South Bend resident.

"It neither proves nor disproves, because a faith story needs no proof," said another.

Still, for some it's a reinforcing message of the reason for the season.

"I think that's pretty much a miracle," said a man from South Bend.

"I'll still believe what I've always believed," said a woman from Niles.

For Mathews, there may never be a certain answer. But he's convinced this may be the brightest light shined yet on a Christmas mystery now centuries in the making.

The ages of those potential stars can only be accurately placed within about 100 years. But Dr. Mathews hopes new technology will be able to narrow the mystery down even further.

He's working on a book about his research and hopes to have it published by next year.

Washington , D.C. , December 28, 2007 :”Yesterday, I was looking through a stack of reports dealing with various subjects, wondering what I needed to deal with. One of the reports was so fascinating in its implications that I have become extremely interested in it.

The facts and the statistics we very clearly know but the causes we do not. Using accurate FBI records, we learn that over 800,000 Americans are reported as missing each year. From this number about 75% are resolved within 24 hours. These solutions consist of children running away or the object of parental kidnapping in custody cases make up the bulk of this enormous figure.

Considering all factors, such as adults opting out of a marriage, men leaving the prospect of a financially crushing divorce and child support payments, people with crushing mortgage or credit card payments, criminals vanishing under other names and so on. 650,000 are accounted for leaving a balance of 150,000 per annum unaccounted for. By its own public records, easily accessed on the Internet, the FBI has over 800,000 cases on its books, past and present. As of December, 2007, the FBI is currently working on 12, 657 active cases of vanished 18 to 20 year olds who completely disappeared in 2006.

None of this information is secret or suppressed but the person, such as myself, who digs into public records is left with the feeling of having discovered a great mystery that has no easy or comfortable answer. Every year, large numbers of Americans go missing. Over half of these can be accountetd for but that leaves a balance of between 200,000 and 150,000 completely unaccounted for, and that’s on a yearly basis! And those who cannot be accounted for never show up again, either under other names or as skeletal remains in some farmer’s distant pastures.

As these numbers of what can only be called the vanished increase year by year, the obvious question is what happened to these people? I have heard perfectly valid stories of people going to the mailbox in broad daylight and vanishing from the driveway without a trace.

Discounting the lunatic fringe and their wild theories, we are left with nothing. What has happened to this huge mass of people whose disappearances are well documented? Did they all flee to some convenient desert island? By now, that island would have the population of Los Angeles and New York City combined.

They must have gone somewhere and didn’t just lie down and die.

Now there I find an interesting concept. We know they left, (or were perhaps taken off,) but that is absolutely all. I have a friend in the FBI and we talked about this. He told me that he had personally investigated about 200 cases and many of the vanished had no reason to run away and their disappearance was very suspicious. Visions of vans full of predators snatching children from the sidewalks and parks is dramatic silliness but the children are still disappearing. My FBI friend told me that most of the unsolved cases were mysterious in the extreme but as he had no facts to work with, he was completely at a loss to explain these mass disappearances in a logical and, more important, believable, manner.

Unlike other subjects of public curiosity such as the collapse of the 9/11 buildings, this matter is very well, and openly, documented. We know the beginnings but never the end. Eventually, one begins to wonder if any of these vanished were deliberately seized by persons, or most especially entities, unknown.

But that way can lie madness. I personaly feel that this is a subject that is very serious and should be throughly investigated and the results of such an investigation made public. There are those who will say that alien abduction is the most probable answer and they may well be correct but again, this does need to be throughly and publicly examined.

And unlike other ’thorough’ government investigations, we are getting tired of stonewalling and the usual faked reports like the grotesque Warren Report. Anyone who thinks this subject is untrue need only check out the facts on the many internet sites. It’s all there, children, believe me..”

A Conversation With A Devil

I live in a fairly remote area, and despite my preparations for Halloween, as the time moved beyond what would be considered a reasonable hour for local children to make the rounds, I found myself with a large bowl of candy with no one to distribute it to, other than to make a vain attempt to hide it from my own ingestion. It was well past midnight, as I returned from the kitchen in this task and resumed my prone position on the couch, where I attempted to lull myself to sleep by reading some material I had set aside for a rainy day, or more accurately, a night where my insomnia made the following morning a miserable ritual.

There were several knocks on the door. I looked at the clock on the mantle, it was 12:30 am. Well, perhaps I had some late arriving teenagers at hand, so I turned on the porch light and pulled apart the curtains on the entry door. There was an elderly man under the half light of the porch lamp wearing a fedora, smoking a cigarette, who only grinned when we made eye contact. I pulled back the screen door. Yes?
He coughed in a spasm for several moments and then smiled again "Trick or Treat....Are you Bruce?" Yes..."Well, how do you like it?...you know, The Maltese Falcon..I am in character, aren't I?" He pulled at his wide lapels. What? "Look...that is your favorite movie....correct?" Yes. "Well, here I am." What do you want, is this some kind of joke? "You are in search of extraterrestrials....here I am...are you going to invite me in?" He lit another cigarette, waiting in the long pause before I replied. A hundred different combinations of thoughts randomly scattered in an equal number of directions came up empty as to who and why I found myself in the extremely strange position. I shook my head and in a surprising tone of irritation that issued from my mouth...Would you like to come in? "Thanks" He crushed the cigarette on my porch beneath his feet...I motioned toward the living room and he took up his position in the chair facing the couch. I sat on the edge of the couch...thinking to myself, this cannot be occurring, I am having another vivid dream. He leaned forward, this old fellow and doffed his hat and placed it one the arm of the chair which revealed two prominent horns on his bald head, which had been concealed. I was transfixed..."You know its not polite to stare...where I come from... these.." he said, pointing to his horns, " are a sign of intelligence....Mind if I smoke?...do you have an ashtray around here?" Sure, I will get one from the kitchen. As I made my way there he continued to talk albeit, in a louder voice..." If the other guys knew I was here, I could be in a lot of trouble....mind if I take off my shoes?....They are killing me...." As I returned, he doffed his shoes without waiting for a reply....he had hooves.
" We have these things made special you know...very expensive...." So what do you want? "You know, we have a bad reputation and I get a kick out of your internet thing...there aren't many opportunities to sneak away and chat honestly....this whole disguise gig, is pretty old, almost as old as I am...when we decided we liked you people, and wanted to stay, we were called rebellious, egotistical...the whole works....that was about 6,000 years ago....I am about sixty years old in your reckoning....so, anyway, enough about me....sorry about the smoke", he offered, as he lit up, " This was reason number two for staying..." What was number one?
" We became accustomed to this place, although you are all a bunch of loony tunes...we were, a long time ago...you could say we were embassy staffers...and four of us decided to remain....here, in retirement...in our golden years.." He began to cough in spasms once again...." You got anything to drink around here?" Again, I went back to the kitchen as any good host would, and this act of hospitality did not prevent him from continuing....." So, here I am and I'm willing and have volunteered myself, at some risk of upsetting the apple cart, to answer your questions...you have quite an imagination kid....and anyway...you have nothing to lose and everything to gain....anyway..." He took in the entire glass of Scotch in one gulp.." anyway, whose going to believe this anyway, What are you going to do? Write about it? Most of your fellow internet people think you have a screw loose anyway....so....ask away."
He looked at me I looked at him for afew moments as if he held his cards face down while I rummaged through mine..."Okay, What is behind the UFO phenomenon, What is it? The old gentleman smiled and put out his cigarette, and said, as if to himself, softly and somewhat sarcastically, "Gee, How did I know this was coming? "
"Okay...let's start with language and then onto images...understand?" I nodded blankly as he continued unabated, " Let's think of a word...let's say cloth....what doee the word mean? and I don't mean the definition in the dictionary, that's only a guideline to its actual meaning..." I told him I didn't understand. " Look...a word doesn't exist in a vacuum, does it, in that quantum mechanics you are always touting, there also has to be an observer witness, right? Well okay then, there is in actual use...operating definitions...set by the listener when you say the word cloth....in other words, someone who likes expensive clothes envisions evening dress, or a someone mechanically minded, imagines a loom, maybe another who is interested in agriculture thinks of cotton fields, a priest perhaps thinks of his roman suit and on and on it goes...okay kid? I said "Sure but what does that have to do with UFO's?" He lit another cigarette.
"Im getting to that part...Im setting the stage..calm down, alright?...okay, UFO's are a process in the largest sense, in other words, a sensory experience that has it's feet firmly planted on both the tangible and the intangible side of the same street...you could say it's a culling process, you could also say it's a portent, in that it is what you decide it is and that is exactly the point. It doesn't say, "here Im tangible' On the other hand, it does not say 'There, I'm intangible..it's, for lack of a better way of saying it, a marker and a mirror...that reflects the mind of those who see it...you understand? So, you have this guy over here, he sees evil Martians out of a fifty's movie, another guy sees Angels right out of the Bible, another guy sees experimental aircraft, another sees government conspiracies, another sees physics, another sees a control system...and on and on and on...it drives some people nuts I tell ya...can I get another drink?....thanks"
As I poured him another drink, I asked another question from the kitchen.." So...does that mean that airships, sickles, saucers and all that are what then, they all seem to have a common form in every epoch...what is that all about?"
"Simple kid....you have a mirror, right? Okay, the mirror is separate from what it reflects right? Well the mirror itself is seen as it is imagined by each era...its always a technological image...that tells you something right there, right?" That in of itself is reflecting something...it's veiled baby, its veiled...get it. you and your kind veil it...I thought you were a brighter kid that this...it's a sophisticated monitoring device you numbskull...and its not monitoring pigeons in a park, my friend" He tapped the top of his head between his two horns. "In here, Mr Wizard" he stated somewhat impatiently..."that what it is measuring,"
"I still don't get it, whats the point?" "Why don't you save yourself some trips and bring that bottle in here and Ill tell ya."

Instead of immediately responding to my uninvited guest's request, I made a seemingly discrete detour to the bathroom and quietly closed the door behind me, turned on the light, and faced myself in the mirror as if to reassure myself of some self verification that yes, I was present and not in some strange formulation of my own design. I washed my face with cold water, and simultaneously I heard the apparent sound of my television set having been turned on in my absence. I quietly exited and stealthily approached this Devil from behind as if I had some unsolicited mission to spy upon and gather intelligence on him...only to find him entertaining himself as if he were addressing the television as another occupant of the room...
On the screen were the apparent images of members of a self organised Bigfoot expedition, making a difficult passage through some undergrowth, armed with flashlights, rifles and whistles. Our Devil guffawed his opinion of this group in laughter .."Take me to your leader, eh Bruce?" Can we turn off the television please?
"Hey its your dime" As he reached over for the remote, I determined within myself to "pin him down" on this monitoring mirror or what ever it was...he was professing some knowledge about. He turned to face me from his position on the chair "You wonder why this Bigfoot fellow runs away?"
"No, I don't. Lets get back to this mirror discussion."
"Okay, what do you want to know?...I thought I explained it pretty well"
"You talked about two things, well actually three things..anyway, One is the mirror, the other is what it reflects and that it is a measuring device..."
"Right"
"Explain what it is measuring, is it evolution, society, government, what? and what is the purpose behind the measurement, and who is doing the measuring"

You... are here.... and yet you are not, in another words in some of those fancy physics books you crow about is a hint.... that you are a non local sentient entity who is observing that which is locally observing.Do you think there are little people actually living inside your television set?...give me a break!....your mind is an organic transceiver... which occupies a state of local observation within a material organism or from my position as one of the culprits of this phenomenon....you could say..a fantastic grafting job of engineering, eh?, Anyway this required special permission and was done a long time ago...did you think it was a coincidence that there are no other creatures like yourself around this room? This place though...I must tell you, is your worst enemy and to some extent mine as well.

Look...lets say you had a transceiver camera you had managed to create in order to ...lets say this sensory connection between the local and non local is a plant or a whatever...organic...from the earth...well, depending on rotational rates of the particular planet, the metabolic rate in the transformation of radiant energy in variable self maintaining terms..blah...blah...what you have created in this situation may identify itself with its image in no short order will mistake the body mind in this case for itself, and will think hey..whoaaa..I have been raised like a sheep or cow and I am going to harvested like what kinda setup is this deal?...The potential for self destruction was a real was a real challenge...it was a big problem of ours...imagine the shock of flipping on this switch between the non local and the local....this this locating of your form of life which naturally occurs elsewhere.....placing it where it's not the greatest of locations... we realised required some temporary modifications to the body...we had to do an end run around the issue.... specifically as to how these signals could be modified...you could say we screwed up the reception intentionally ....I must say we did a pretty good job....the problem is...it completely had unintentional results....your forefathers almost immediately began to mutually destroy one another....let me tell you, nobody and I mean nobody was very happy with us and our management of the situation...what a mess...we got into a real tussle over this with another group who fought us tooth and nail over this and got permission to take away our oversight...even though at the time of inception...which I remind them was approved....well... all of you stood around like stunned deer in the high beams out there in the woods scavenging for whatever......we tried to say...here..heres a way to communicate...here...this and that....now in some big revisionist expose...once again we are the bad guys....in giving you tools of adaptation...we deceived you...ok granted...but we were honestly trying to correct an error..ooh, were always the bad guys...what alot propaganda...got you thrown out of "the natural transformative order" of this place...now they are very upset that this has gone so far down the tubes as far as upsetting the natural balance of the thing....let me tell you what my boss says....you know what that is kid?"

The Devil momentarily paused and walked over to my position on the couch, placing his face inches from mine"So...Do you believe what I told you?"
While I meditated on my answer and its consequences, ne began to insert his hooves into the shoes. I decided that honesty is the best policy. "I am not convinced one way or the other, but then again..here you are."
"And So I am", he replied with a hint of a smug grin, "but what does my presence have to do with telling you the truth, rather than some fairy tale..?"
"Not anything I suppose"
He pointed his bony index finger toward the ceiling to accentuate his reply, "Exactly..how do you consider the proposition that I am also evaluating you as you do toward me?"
He placed his fedora gingerly over his horns and stated wistfully, "all this are the things dreams are made of.."

The Devil rummaged through all of his pockets with an increasing sense of frustration. He produced a crumbled, wadded up piece of paper. "May I translate it for you?"

The Devil gently left the paper on the coffee table and began walking toward the door, he paused at the threshold and looked back at me "We could use a resourceful gentleman such as yourself. Care to join us?"

The next day I made my way into the kitchen. My wife put the uncrumbled ball of paper the Devil had left on the coffee table infront of me. "A smiley face?...Have A Nice Day?....Bruce, you need to get out in the real world..."

"By the garage will you please take the garbage out?"
This irony did not escape me. Thats what I had been doing all along.

...if one takes Chemtrails into account.

Some believe chemtrails are a method to weaken the immune system of the general populace so that there will be less mouths to feed after the shit hits the fan/ or less nutballs with guns to take potshots at the people "in the know" who have held this info from the general populace....
Others believe that chemtrails are a method to block the view of planet X.

Well, how about a third theory..... that chemtrails are an effort to restore the ozone layer (which has magically been repairing itself as of late)...so that the general populace will not undergo the "changes" to DNA that the coming wave will bring...
Some feel the OZONE will block energy that will be beneficial to those of a certain vibrational frequency....

These pics are actual photographs taken from a an official NASA footage shot a year before Neal Amstrong supposedly walked on the moon. NASA (who have buried this tape for more then fourty years now) claims that they were simply testing out the camera's for Lander Craft.

One wonders why then did they stage a complete Moon landing scene, when they could have just waved their hand infront the lens?

Truth is folks we never did go to moon.

David Jacobs and The Fifty

There are some books one has on a perennial reading list inasmuch as they hold up to several re-readings, each of which offer more insights, as either time progresses or loose enigmatic pieces of puzzle lock into place, which leads back to an earlier reference overlooked in the first reading of these often dense and at times, impenetrable tomes. Several books on my shelf share a mysterious relationship with one another that is either the result of coincidence, magical thinking or a meaningful connection. Take your pick. I am still in the theoretical supermarket unable to make up my mind what belongs in my cart and what should remain on a shelf. One of these books, I have reread many times, which is G I Gurdjieff’s Beelzebub’s Tales To His Grandson. For our purposes, I will relate one of many, at least to me, puzzling statements he conveys in this book. This statement is made in reference to the “abnormal” psychology of contemporary members of our species. Without going on an enormously long explanation about the origins of his perspectives, Gurdjieff relates to us that all it would take to entirely change the nature of our contemporary life would be fifty conscious individuals. Why fifty? This number has always puzzled me and having studied his teaching among others, I am certain that this was not an arbitrary number, which is also evidenced his advice to those assisting him during the writing phase of this book to “bury the bone deeper.”
A decade passes and while not obsessed with this odd statement, I had never completely erased this puzzle from my “to do” list. Then I am reading an equally rich and dense work entitled Hamlet’s Mill: An Essay Investigating The Origins of Human Knowledge And It’s Transmission Through Myth.” By Santillana and Von Dechend. Firstly, this book had been been popping up as a reference point in my studies again and again. The second “flag” that drew my interest was the title. This was the very same definition Gurdjieff had applied to what he called a legominism, a means of preserving knowledge, so again a connection of correspondence back and forward at the same time.
The plot thickens. There is no substitution for actually reading this book, so I will not make any attempt to outline its contents. However, one aspect of this book stunned me. Over and over, there are references galore to The Fifty. What is going on here? If that was not a coincidence, what is it? Again moving forward in my reading timeline, I came across another dense compilation entitled “The Sirius Mystery” by Robert Temple. If you have not read it, I can simply perhaps reduce it down to a study of an African Tribe’s uncannily accurate and seemingly impossible mythology reflecting fairly recent discoveries about Sirius in astronomy. Without taking a huge detour, needless to say I could fill several pages with references to Sirius that appear so many times, it makes one take pause. In this book, the Dogon tribe also relate what appears to be again, an uncanny story or account about the landing of extraterrestrials, etc. What provided me with my third “shock” was a reference to the Fifty. Then to make this even beyond a reasonable chance of coincidence, the path leads back to Hamlet’s Mill by the corresponding references. Three books, three authors and The Fifty. Recently, I was rummaging through my dusty pile of theories regarding extraterrestrial abductions and that whole ball of wax. For some unknown reason in my associative thought process, I stopped at David Jacobs. His theory is essentially a hybrid breeding program is occurring under our noses for with the goal of our being governed by an extraterrestrial society. When I first heard and then subsequently read about this theory, my immediate reaction was to dismiss it as ridiculous as there would have to be millions of couplings and resultant offspring to pursue this goal. Then a voice in the back of mind, whispered one word, “fifty.” It then said, “it will only take fifty…”
Needless to say, I am not inferring that this is at all connected or even reasonably assured myself that there is a connection here other than one of a thousand aisles in The House Of Mirrors. However, there is The Fifty.

Interesting theory, Shane. I've been following the skinny on chemtrails longer than I have the Dan_B odyssey, and after reading extensively about the subject (and snapping many personal chemtrail photos), I've come to the conclusion (either rightly or wrongly) that chemtrail operations are basically being used to facilitate over-the-horizon radars and provide a sun-blocking mechanism -- in the UK and Europe at least. In the US, the situation may be more diverse and nefarious. I have doubts now that there was a chemtrail project hidden within another to prevent the "unspooling of our DNA" against rogue JRods, although I did swallow that back in 2005.
