Those beds have nothing to them. Flat steel on a wall. How is this possible? I think the Attorney General should be alerted to this one. It's worst than the army paying $400 a hammer. What is this scam? A case for corrupt kickbacks?

actually Dex - you photo was coming across really big - like about 280 pixels or something. there was no scaling going on. I pullled it onto my system and made it smaller as I assumed that you guys did not have the means to do that. I still have the "big" version on my desktop... Your avatar was making the column where the avatars are really really wide. Wiz's image in the "post" column of the forum is no big deal.

anyway - by the time I got my smaller images up - you or someone had scaled yours down....(and personally I think its a bit too small now but that is just a matter of personal taste)

Black Fungus Found in Chernobyl Eats Harmful Radiation

The research began with the discovery of black fungus growing on the walls of the damaged, highly radioactive Chernobyl nuclear reactor and collected by robots.

The fungus was rich with melanin, the same pigment that gives human skin its color, protecting the skin from solar and ultraviolet radiation. Melanin is found in many, if not most, fungal species.

"The fungal kingdom comprises more species than any other plant or animal kingdom," said researcher Arturo Casadevall, an immunologist at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Nuclear and other high-energy reactions give off ionizing radiation — dangerous rays and particles that can damage genes and thus cause mutations, and eventually cancer.

"Just as the pigment chlorophyll converts sunlight into chemical energy that allows green plants to live and grow," so might melanin help fungi make use of ionizing radiation, said nuclear medicine specialist Ekaterina Dadachova at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

The scientists experimented on three species of fungi. They consistently found that ionizing radiation significantly boosted the growth of fungi that contained melanin.

"In general we think of radiation as something bad or harmful. Here we have a situation where these fungi appear to benefit, which is unexpected," Casadevall told LiveScience.

For example, the researchers exposed two kinds of fungi — one that naturally contained melanin (Wangiella dermatitidis) and another that scientists induced to make the pigment (Crytococcus neoformans) — to levels of ionizing radiation about 500 times higher than normal, the doses one might see at high altitudes where atmospheric shielding from cosmic rays is lessened.

Both species grew significantly faster, as detailed in the May 23 issue of the journal PLoS ONE.

The researchers stressed these findings do not mean fungi can eat radioactive matter and somehow cleanse it. Rather, the fungi can simply harness the energy that radioactive materials give off.

The ability of fungi to live off ionizing radiation could prove useful to people.

"Since ionizing radiation is prevalent in outer space, astronauts might be able to rely on fungi as an inexhaustible food source on long missions or for colonizing other planets," Dadachova said.

Casadevall also noted that the melanin in fungi is no different chemically from the melanin in human skin.

"It's pure speculation — but not outside the realm of possibility — that melanin could be providing energy to skin cells," he said. "While it wouldn't be enough energy to fuel a run on the beach, maybe it could help you to open an eyelid."

Is Disclosure on the Way--and a Vicious Outrage Along With It?

The amount of UFO activity in the world now is unprecedented, and so are the number of calls for disclosure from professionals in the media and politics. Dr. Michael Salla has recently been claiming that there was a secret meeting at the United Nations between February 12 and 14 to discuss a change from the present general governmental policy of denial to one of more open study of UFOs.

He also claims that a French aviation expert called Gilles Lorant has confirmed that these meetings took place. You can read his article about this here.

I have heard nothing from anybody else about these meetings, but that doesn't mean that they didn't happen. On the contrary, now is certainly a time when such meetings may have taken place, and there is one statement in Michael Salla's article about them that suggests to me that there might be some truth here. It is that "those claiming to have first hand experience of extraterrestrial life would be targeted as charlatans."

For a long time, I have thought that this would be an inevitable outcome of any move by the world's existing power structure to change the official approach to the UFO phenomena.

Of course, it will be a lie. But government, in our era, gains so much of its power from secrecy and the lies that must of necessity accompany it, that this shouldn't be too surprising.

I wouldn't be surprised to see studies that were focused entirely on the aerial phenomena and not at all on the human factor, because the moment you admit the fact that the visitors have penetrated right into our bedrooms and our bodies, and deposited hardware there, you are admitting that government is helpless to control the situation, and that it cannot impose itself between the individual and the visitors. Which, indeed, it cannot.

The problem they now have is that UFO sightings are so extensive that they cannot be denied, and, in some cases, governments are getting worried that the populace is no longer willing to accept denial as an answer. Even the general media is beginning to openly doubt official claims.

So the backup position would be to enlist the scientific community in a "study" of the phenomena that would divert attention from the only thing that really matters: what it means to us. And that can only be determined by admitting that close encounter is the central reality of the phenomenon.

If people like me are dismissed as charlatans, it will be a great waste. But sixty years of denial have also been a great waste, so I suppose it's to be expected.

What I think will actually happen if there is any level of disclosure at all is that the millions of people who have had close encounters will demand a better answer than that they are all charlatans. In fact, I demand a better answer now.

I have an implant in my left ear that remains the strangest thing that Dr. John Lerma, who attempted to remove it, has ever seen. It could not be removed because it was self-mobile and moved, before his eyes, to another part of my ear when he touched it with a scalpel. Not only that, the biologist who examined the fragment of it he did collect said that it had cilia on it, that would explain its ability to move.

There is nothing like that in nature and nothing like it in the human body. Period. But it is there, the doctor has testified many times, and the removal attempt is on videotape on this website.

Not only that, it was placed in my body by two people, whom I saw come into the room. They were associated with a huge light that shone down from above when they left the house. I saw and heard all of this. They immobilized me by unknown means when they put the thing in my ear. The next morning, while the ear was sore and red, there was no sign of a surgical scar. Were these people working for some official body? Were they working with aliens? Who were they? I want to know and I demand to know.

And why is it that Dr. Roger Leir and his surgical team have removed implants from others, that could not have come into their bodies by accident, and were maintained in situ through the use of an unknown technology that encapsulates them in the skin of the host so that they will not be rejected as foreign matter?

I demand that the close encounter witnesses receive respectful treatment, that their situation be acknowledged honestly, and that careful, properly constituted study of them as a social group, and as individuals, be commenced, with the objective of coming to the best understanding we are able to manage of what has been done to them, and why.

Any study that stops short of this or, more appallingly, dismisses us as charlatans, is not going to be tolerated, not by us and not by the general public. What matters in this affair is what it means to humanity and the human future, and the answer to that question starts with an understanding of the close encounter phenomenon.

I will not accept being called a charlatan. Not a bit of it. I will be heard, and I will be loud. So I have a suggestion for the people who met at the UN, if, indeed, the meeting happened: if you are going to deny us and call us charlatans, you are going to have some trouble with us, because we are not going to take it and we are not going to shut up. We have excellent physical proof, and many multiple-witness encounters that prove that we are, indeed, telling the truth about what happened to us.

Personally, I have been the butt of one too many jokes and dismissed and lied about one too many times to stand for being dismissed as a liar when the UFO phenomenon itself is being acknowledged as real.

There is only one way you are not going to get a fight from us: Honest acknowledgment and proper study. If you want us out of the picture instead, you are going to have to silence an awful lot of people. Otherwise, you can expect to have the truth chasing after you, no matter how skillful your lies, or how convincing your appeal to scientific authority.

If you acknowledge the existence of UFOs as an unknown phenomenon, the reality of the close encounter experience is going to very shortly become impossible for you to deny. Otherwise, this latest attempt to attach some credibility to your claims will also fail, and you will have gained, in the end, nothing except an increase in fear and confusion, as the public realizes that you are trying to cover up the reality of the abductions, thus making them seem even more frightening than they already are.

It doesn't need to be this way. Studies of the close encounter witnesses could be carried out in a calm and objective manner on many different levels. There could be anthropological studies of their accounts, social studies of their groupings, medical studies of their bodies.

If this was done correctly and objectively, something quite extraordinary would emerge: a reflection of the visitors' own policy toward us. It would, in effect, be the first communication from another world.

I will not stand for being called a charlatan when I have striven so hard over these long, hard years to tell the truth no matter what. And I don't think a single other witness will sit still, either.

We are small and powerless compared to a secret group of fancy panjandrums and professional liars meeting at the United Nations. But I warn you, Goliath, there is a lot of wisdom in an old book you're much too proud to acknowledge. Try 1 Samuel 17.

High horses are dangerous places to sit, precisely because of the altitude.

The Roadrunners Internationale, an organization of former Area 51
employees, has agreed to poll its members about the Tom Mack-Pau
McGovern photo to see if anyone recognizes the buildings or the people.
The latest Roadrunner newsletter asks its members if any of them know
any of the names associated with this part of the story, including Gene
Lakes who reportedly was the security chief for the entire base for many
years. Also threw in a photo of Dan Crain/Burisch but would be very very
surprised if anyone comes forward to say he was ever anywhere near the
place.


I understand that compartmentalization was and is the norm out there at
Groom and that employees did not necessarily know what everyone else was
working on, but I've got to believe that if the photo is legit and these
names are legit, someone will remember them, or remember something. The
Roadrunners group is made up of hundreds of former CIA, AF, and
contractor employees who worked out there from the 50's thru the 80s.
They've got a great website with hundreds of declassified, recently
released documents and photos related to the early days at Groom, in
case anyone is interested in taking a look.

Obviously the photo is real, and obviously it there are buildings in the
middle of the desert. George Knapp and his sources say it looks like
Mercury, but Gene says he thought it was Mercury at first, but perhaps
not. Groom Lake is a very, very big place. All the sources including
Rick Doty say the photo is of Paul McGovern and Tom Mack including Paul
McGovern himself.

Also, for those interested, the Revised 2008 Edition of "Exempt from

Who is JJ Hurtak?
To kick off this ambitious project, let us have a look at Don JJ Hurtak, the guy who started the whole “Keys of Enoch” deal and garnered such followers as the young Don Bernard “Drunvalo” Perona. Now a fully fledged psychic mafia Don in his own right.

Don James J "J.J." Hurtak's published bio says:

"J.J. Hurtak, Ph.D., Ph.D., M.Th. is a social scientist and futurist who studied at the University of California and the University of Minnesota."

Now, certainly he does not say that his degrees came from the University of California and the University of Minnesota... he only says he has degrees, followed by the names of two universities where he "studied." However, certainly, a reader would assume from this juxtaposition that his degrees came from those universities.

The fact is that his PhD is in social science and his other PhD in History and Oriental Studies, were obtained from the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico.

Regarding Hurtak's claims to have been at the Uni of California in 1973, we find the following.

The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch® (1973, 1975, 1977) makes the correlation that this Divine Name was the key behind the transcription code of chemical letters which develops the human body. In 1973 while at the University of California, Hurtak came to understand that there was a connection between the series of linguistic and genetic associations in the spelling of God’s name in the biblical Hebrew (YHVH).

Earlier in 1973, maverick linguist, alleged CIA consultant, occultist and nouveau Egyptologist, J.J. Hurtak, according to his account, had been “lifted up” in a body of light into a region of stars called Merak and Muscida by the Master Ophanim Enoch. Enoch, answering a prayerful plea from Hurtak, had come to deliver a revelatory message outlining the purpose of life on the Earth plane, and to reveal the contours of a coming confrontation between the Children of Light and the Fallen Masters of Darkness.2 Over a period of two days (Jan 2-3) Enoch “downloaded” into Hurtak a total of 64 keys or revelations and these became The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch. Key 109, a central revelation in this regard, reads as follows: The Anti-Universe is composed of Star Field Energies revealed on the Black Cube of Mecca which shows the function and destruction of three dimensional universes. 3

Hurtak’s commentary on this Key reveals that the events of October 1973 galvanized him. Hurtak saw the October war as evidence that most Muslims, particularly those in power, are in league with, or in thrall to, dark extraterrestrial forces that originate in the constellations of Ursa Minor and Draco (with the principle star alpha Draconis as a focus).

Hurtak constructs an elaborate narrative linking ancient astronomy and geometry, genetic/molecular and computer theory with geo-political events, and in revisiting the old competitions between Muslim, Christian and Jew, recasts the historic dimensions of this occasional conflict in extraterrestrial, genetic terms.

In elaborating on Hurtak’s prophetic project I will first briefly describe Hurtak’s process of “prophetic regenesis,” in which revelation and prophetic commentary are said to “reveal” the contours of a cosmic conflict between two ancient extraterrestrial genetic bloodlines that is said to manifest itself in geo-political events on earth. Then, I will discuss how Hurtak’s process of revelation subsumes and elides the actual sequence of events as recorded by news agencies. Lastly, I will briefly describe how this narrative of Muslim/Christian conflict, recast in extraterrestrial and genetic terms, has impacted the writings and ideations of New Age and Ascensionist thinkers and practitioners. For example, an examination of the commentary explicating Key 109 demonstrates how, according the Hurtak, the Kaaba at Mecca acts as a concentration of anti-Universe, anti-Christ energy, a kind of spiritual black hole as it were. […]

For Hurtak, this “clinging to the cube” that the Kaaba represents is, in fact, evidence of a dangerous tendency toward retrogression, rigidity, entropy and a need to tyrannically control. As Muslims circumambulate around their most sacred shrine in Mecca, they are exhibiting the “black hole function” of refusing to evolve up to the next level of organic organization. […]

The implication is that Muslims do not “allow” the light of program of God to penetrate them, therefore, they re-enact and reinscribe, in their revering of the cube at Mecca, a focus on physical destruction of the 3-D world, in the way that the black hole is postulated to trap light itself.7 […]

The Book of Knowledge constitutes Hurtak’s attempt to construct what occultist Rene Schwaller de Lubicz referred to as la Symbolique, a purported system of knowledge transmission de Lubicz considered to be primarily visual and pre-linguistic, and is secretly encoded in the shapes of various written languages, mystical buildings, such as the Great Pyramid and for Hurtak, in human DNA. The Children of Darkness “cling to the cube” in Mecca in order to keep the Children of Light from discovering the symbolique of redemption hidden in the Kaaba. They are not entirely at fault, since they are operating at the behest of extraterrestrials from alpha Draconis/Ursa Minor. They can be saved by bringing them to the Torah Or (Light of the Torah)—which Hurtak prophetically retranslates as the Program of Israel with Gematria designation 8033-45. […]

There is no way to determine for sure whether Hurtak’s apparent conflation of events is purposeful, the result of a faulty news source, or a common American tendency to disregard the complexities of Middle Eastern politics. Whatever the case, Hurtak declares that Enoch transported him to the location of the Kaaba, in much the same way that Jabriel was said to have transported Muhammad to the Temple Mount during his Night Journey. From his exalted standpoint, Enoch revealed to Hurtak how the cubic structure of the Kaaba acts like a black hole, sucking in and trapping the Light of the Father and feeding the Children of Darkness. 13 The stone inside the Kaaba, it is said holds and traps the accumulated and unredeemed sins of humanity inside the cube as Muslims, guided by extraterrestrial forces from alpha Draconis, are vampirically infected by the resulting energies of degeneration, vengeance and anti-evolution. […]

So, how has this premillennial scenario played to Hurtak’s New Age and Ascensionist audience? […]

Perhaps one of the most interesting responses can be found in an early ascension channeling session conducted by trance channel Barbara Marciniak in 1990.

When asked specifically about Hurtak and The Book of Knowledge, Marciniak’s guides replied that, although in the past they may have spoken highly of the Book, they also had “always maintained that [we] do not agree with what is being said there.” While the book is said to “resonate with its own form of integrity,” it is also limited by Hurtak’s belief systems, and he will eventually be surprised when he finds out what and who the conflict really involves. Her guides go on to recommend The Gods of Eden by William Bramley as a more accurate account of humanity’s extraterrestrial background.16

Some ascensionists have reported to me that something about the book “creeps them out,” and still others were quite surprised when I pointed out passages in the text that seemed to vilify Muslims or contained a ‘master race’ narrative.

Most ascensionists seem not to be very interested in pursuing Hurtak’s premillennial charges of anti-Christ Muslim behavior, even while they generally accept his overall narrative regarding the existence of an extraterrestrial conspiracy on the Earth that is designed to keep humans from evolving and the importance of DNA as the locus of personal incarnation.

On the other hand, while perusing Internet archives of ascensionist/New Age chat rooms, I ran across several conversations, all post 9/11, in which Key 109 was brought up for discussion. In one instance, a respondent simply replied by posting a verse from Surah 9 of the Koran, which, when taken out of context, seems to provide justification for Muslims to kill their enemies at any opportunity. It was as if the respondent was saying: “Yes, see, look at their scriptures, they are just like that.” […]

Robert Fuller (no relation to Buckminster), in his book Naming the Anti-Christ: The History of an American Obsession, notes that a great deal of the apocalyptic imagery that is increasingly found in much New Age/Ascensionist literature derives from fundamentalist/right wing sources/pre-millennial, ranging from Hal Lindsey to Orson Scott Card.18 […]

For all of its sophisticated patter, and it’s potential as a vision that seeks to intimately link the twin infinities of the cosmos and the human soul through the mediating mechanism of DNA, Hurtak’s revelation seems to follow this trajectory with remarkable fidelity, only now the millennial conflict is cast in mathematical, extraterrestrial, genetic and even racial terms.

Later in The Book of Knowledge, Hurtak reveals that there are two other groups who operate with the Fallen Masters, obscuring the possibility of the Christ race evolving on Earth. These individuals are the orthodox ‘believers’ in the Jewish and Christian communities, and the secular scholars and intellectuals who annoyingly insist on the importance of history, context, analysis and fact-finding.

For Hurtak, such critical analysis is idolatry constituting the Abomination of Desolation as described in the Book of Daniel.

Well, I guess the shoe fits. A close look at the Book of Knowledge reveals what one might call the circular edge of closure, when right and left wing interests are joined in the fervor of premillennial promises of perfected genetic evolution, the end of history and the conquering of ones stated enemies. It’s the same story being told now in more dangerous times.
