Deadly 'Star Wars Lightsabers' Are Cheap Online

A handheld laser likened to a Star Wars lightsaber -- and so powerful it can instantly blind and "set fire to skin and other body parts" -- can be bought readily (and inexpensively) online.

The device -- with a beam 1,000 times stronger than sunlight on the skin -- is touted by makers as "the most dangerous laser ever created." And Wicked Lasers' Spyder III Pro Arctic lasers cost less than $200.

Trading standards chiefs in England said they were "seriously concerned" about the sale of the model in the country, and have warned against its use. As well as blinding, burning and causing cancer, its Hong Kong-based maker admits that "a split-second laser light in a plane cockpit (...) can be disastrous."

Star Wars fans are among hundreds of people who have already shown an interest in buying the laser, for sale to the general public.

Laser safety expert John Colton, director of Lucid Optical Services, told Sky News Online that the lasers were "horrendously dangerous."

Officials Meet to Discuss Oil/Hurricane Scenario

We are starting this section in order to better track the horrific situation taking place in the Gulf of Mexico. We will be posting an abundance of news and links regarding the spill as well as adding occasional commentary. We will be posting an abundance of links in each article in an attempt to stay as updated as possible with the ever changing events in the Gulf.

Corexit – The Deadly Neurotoxin

Approximately 1.14 million gallons of total dispersant have been deployed—798,000 on the surface and 346,000 subsea. More than 500,000 gallons are still available for use in the Gulf.

Curiously, Goldman Sachs sold 44.4% of their shares in British Petroleum just days before the explosion. Tony Hayward also sold 1/3 of his shares just three days before the Deepwater Horizon incident.

There is documented proof that BP is actually spraying Corexit into peoples backyards! Oil mixed with highly toxic chemicals is a major threat to animals and humans alike.

Words of Wisdom from our, “pretend” Commander and Chief:

On Monday Obama declared, “Gulf sea food is safe to eat.” Corexit? No problem.
Boyd, officials huddle to plan for oil/storm scenario

PANAMA CITY — Regional civilian and military officials gathered Monday to examine the potential threat of a Gulf of Mexico hurricane colliding with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, with emergency responders discussing how to quickly build a command and control structure to handle that disaster scenario.

Rep. Allen Boyd, D-Monticello, facilitated the joint oil spill and hurricane planning conference, held at the Florida State University Panama City campus, bringing together Federal Emergency Management Agency, NOAA, Coast Guard and Air Force officials with state and local emergency responders to develop a federal preparedness and recovery plan.

That plan would deal with the actions taken before, during and after a gulf storm, a response complicated this summer by the oil spill and its potential impacts on the Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida coastlines. NOAA’s 72-hour nearshore surface oil forecast released early Monday noted that persistent onshore winds have carried the oil slick toward the Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

Boyd said the conference’s morning discussions made it clear there isn’t a well-defined command and control structure to guide interaction between the military and the state’s emergency operations centers. The Congressman wants a centralized emergency response system, in which county EOCs coordinate with the state’s Division of Emergency Management. That agency, in turn, would communicate with Coast Guard and BP on oil-related issues in the event of a hurricane.

More Drills and even more Military Drills.. Golly Gee didn't know that the US military was so incompetent that they had to drill their way across country!

They're gearing up for something folks and it don't look good!!!

Military drills throughout the United States

http://beforeitsnews.com/story/77/426/M ... ates.html#

We have already reported on the drills planned for Chicago starting this Sunday and the Navy drills going on in Va at this very moment. I find it hard to believe that this all just a coincidence. There are way too many signs that point to this being something much more. I understand that it is the beginning of the summer and drills are common but with the events in the Gulf i thought these were worthy of posting.
ONLY A DRILL: OFFICIALS PRACTICE HURRICANE ROUTES

Don’t be alarmed if you saw 150 emergency response vehicles on I-20 or heading to the coast on U.S. 69 Wednesday morning. The Department of Public Safety and several other agencies joined forces in a live-action hurricane preparedness drill.

This was only a drill.

Three separate convoys left Arlington, headed south on 360, east on I-20 to Tyler, then south on U.S. 69 to the coast, said DPS spokeswoman Davilyn Walston.

“We wanted to make sure everyone was aware because a few weeks ago the 911 systems in South Texas were overloaded with citizen inquiries about the drill,” she said.

Anderson are agencies prepare for emergency drill

By Liz Carey

May 29, 2010

ANDERSON COUNTY — There will be explosions and military trucks on the streets of Anderson County, but it won’t be real.

In the weeks of June 8 through June 20, Anderson County emergency response teams — from law enforcement units and fire departments to emergency management workers and the coroner’s office — will participate in a mock terrorist attack in the Anderson area.

Called Palmetto Shield and Operation Red Dragon, organizations from Anderson, Abbeville, Greenville, Greenwood, Oconee and Pickens counties will work with the U.S. Army, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the American Red Cross, among other agencies, to simulate the coordination of efforts in the face of a real emergency.

As with other drills, the activities in June will use actors and mannequins to imitate real patients and casualties, said Taylor Jones, emergency services director for Anderson County. And while the exercise isn’t real, the threat is, he said.

“There are a lot of plants in the region that are very critical to the economic engine of South Carolina and the country,” Jones said. “This area is also crucial to the energy-producing engine of our area, the whole Southeast and the nation at large.”

The scenario will play out like this: On June 8, intelligence agencies will start to hear chatter that a terrorist group is planning an attack somewhere between Atlanta and Charlotte. Read More…
County disaster drill tests emergency workers

Jun 10th, 2010

Emergency workers evaluate a "patient" during a disaster drill held outside the town of Center Saturday.

CENTER — A Saguache County disaster drill Saturday tested the skills of emergency workers and law enforcement officials preparing them to deal with the unexpected when it does arrive.

The drill was held at the Leech Airport off CR 53 and CR C outside Center. The call for the mock disaster went out at about 9:15 a.m. to all fire department volunteers countywide as well as law enforcement and emergency personnel.

Local hospitals were notified and placed on “standby.” Rio Grande Hospital’s Flight for Life was invited to make an appearance but could not respond that day.

The scenario for the drill was a windstorm causing adverse road conditions resulting in a bus/RV rollover and multiple car pile-ups. According to the drill scenario, emergency personnel and law enforcement had to be treated for eye and respiratory irritation on scene.

Accidents from the pile-up included a bus rollover with injured children and adults, a rollover in a ditch involving a pregnant woman, another rollover injuring an elderly individual with a heart condition and a jackknifed semi-trailer truck with one car under the semi, several piled up behind it and several cars between the bus rollover and semi-trailer accident. Southeast Texas

On Thursday, June 10, hundreds of people from several agencies throughout the state of Texas converged on Ford Park to perform a four- hour Rapid Response Task Force Operations Drill.

The purpose of the drill was to practice mobilization of resources in a central location and to test communication equipment that is used by agencies including Emergency Management, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Department of Transportation and Department of Public Services during emergencies.

On Wednesday, June 9, a massive convoy of state and military vehicles, communications equipment and emergency management personnel arrived to prepare for the drill.

The Rapid Response Task Force is the mobilization of many state agencies in the event of a disaster. The task force was created for the rapid deployment of State resources and manpower to an area immediately following a disaster.

Video: Killer iRobot Wipes Out a Whole Field at Once

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3jab7rn ... r_embedded

Over the spring, iRobot co-founder Colin Angle stopped by Wired’s New York offices to talk about the new machines he had planned for the Pentagon. They would not be lethally armed, he assured us, because “the military is not particularly interested in weaponized robots.” Despite years of development, the brass still had too many concerns about the safety of the technology — and about the perceptions of a killer ‘bot. iRobot might try to put less-lethal arms on some of its machines, he added. But deadly robots? No way.

Now, a few months later, iRobot has released this video, featuring one of its 710

For those of you counting down to the robot uprising, you may be interested in the latest news from engineers at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. They’ve created autonomous robots that randomly dock with each other on the ground and then rise into the air– no human intervention required.

The little hexagonal modules that make up the flying drone are completely self-sufficient. In the context of a robot army, that means the airborne robot could be indestructible. Because the magnetically connected ‘bots easily break away from each other, they could blow apart under attack, and then reassemble themselves on the ground, good as new.

For now, Raymond Oung, one of the lead researchers, envisions the self-controlled ‘bots more as a teaching tool for describing control systems than a tool of war. Once the modules meet up on the ground, the way they propel themselves into the air and stay there is is a dynamic demonstration of how a servo system works.

Communicating via infrared sensors – like the kind in your TV remote – the ‘bots quickly adapt to the changing conditions of flight. Each module has its own attitude sensor, and broadcasts its location to others in the collective. That way, if the aircraft starts tilting towards the right, the modules on the right side generate more thrust to compensate.

Add a dash of autonomous walking robots to these shape-shifting flyers, and you’ve almost got an airborne T-1000.

We Are Change Has Admitted Freemason Inside Group

One of the more prominent members of We Are Change NYC an activist group heavily involved with 9/11 truth and spreading information about the New World Order conspiracy is an admitted freemason. In a short documentary film specifically dedicated to covering the activities We Are Change NYC entitled Truth to Power, We Are Change member Craig Fitzgerald admits to being a part of the centuries old secretive order. Approximately seven minutes into the film, Fitzgerald brags about being a member of the secretive group but then goes on to talk about how the Bilderberg group and the Council on Foreign Relations are bad because they conduct business in secret. It is a complete insult to the viewers intelligence as Fitzgerald who admits to being a member of a secret society tries to make people believe that the Bilderberg group and other associated geopolitical based think tanks and organizations are the ones really running the show. Even stranger is why other members of We Are Change don't seem to have issues with a member of their group who proudly admits to being a freemason. After all, isn't We Are Change supposed to be against secretive groups? When analyzing this at face value, does this really make any sort of sense?

Although we are uncertain as to exactly how much power Fitzgerald has within the group, it is clear that he is in fact a very influential member within We Are Change NYC. This is proven easily considering that the film makers of Truth to Power chose to include him as one of the central figures in their documentary covering We Are Change NYC. Also, there are several photos of Fitzgerald taken from his Facebook page showing him addressing other members of We Are Change during meetings indicating his prominence within the group yet again.

mobilizing

SHTF Plan:

Eye witness reports from Georgia, Minnesota, Alabama, Kansas, and perhaps Texas suggest large scale mobilizations and deployment in progress for National Guard Units.

We were under the impression that National Guard in Georgia were being deployed to help evacuate Florida in the event of toxic fumes from the oil spill if the government decided to light the booms.

However, we are seeing reports from multiple states throughout the country.

The Minnesota mobilization has been confirmed by MPR News, as of May 20, 2010 but suggests deployment may not be immediate:

Soldiers and families around Minnesota know there’s a deployment in their future. Within the next few months, 2,700 Minnesota National Guard soldiers from around the state will get their training orders for deployment.

It’s not clear yet which units of the 1st Brigade Combat Team will be activated. But this alert marks the largest deployment of Minnesota military forces since World War II.

The Minnesota Guard deployment above is reportedly for soldiers deploying to the middle east next year.

Reports regarding the Georgia National Guard are from a person close to a soldier that is being deployed:

Just got a call from my son…driving home from spring semester at North Georgia College. He is in the reserves and attending the Corps of Cadets there. He is telling me something big is up. Just got a call from his unit that they are mobilizing immediately. ALL GEORGIA UNITS. Unconfirmed at the moment. Don’t see anything on any big news besides Korea. Wonder if there is more going on there than we think….will break more as I find out whether this is a big deal or not.

From Kansas:

My old friend who’s in the army and just got back from Iraq and is not due to go to Afghanistan until August was just deployed too. He’s reserved in Kansas, so it’s definitly not the oil. I don’t know if everyone has been deployed, only him.

I’m hoping it is something minor or just a coincidence, deployment from more than one state is DEFINITLY not a good sign.

EDIT TO ADD: Just called his mom, I am talking to his mom right now. She doesn’t know what’s going on or where he’s going, he couldn’t tell her anything except “I love you and I am being deployed”. I am not one to be afraid because most things are just rediculous, but I’m am hoping this is just a mere coincidence.

Texas:

I have lived in the Tomball, Texas area forabout 33 years. I know whats normal and whats not. I also workout side and can tell you the type of helo by the sound. With that in mind.

Today I have seen wave after wave of Blackhawks pushing hard toward the east/southeast over Tomball. These things were nose-down and they were moving. VERY NOT normal. Just thought I’d FYI.

Possibly Exercises?

A mobile Iraqi war zone has taken shape on the rolling plains and ridges of eastern Wyoming, the latest incarnation of an Army National Guard training exercise meant to quickly shape citizen soldiers into battle-ready warriors.

…The Wyoming National Guard’s Camp Guernsey is currently hosting the training exercise for the Nebraska Guard’s 67th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, which is scheduled for deployment to Iraq this summer. About 1,400 soldiers from the 67th and other units are honing their skills in the makeshift Middle Eastern environment for three weeks in May.

More Training:

The New York Air National Guard’s Eastern Air Defense Sector (EADS) is participating in a large scale North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command air defense exercise designed to train military members to respond to potential scenarios that could affect the Continental U.S. May 16-20.

EADS is performing its homeland defense mission of detecting, identifying, tracking and possibly scrambling aircraft. Although held in Georgia, members from the unit will control the exercise missions from Rome, N.Y.

There has been no official confirmation from the US government or State governments involved. Mainstream news has yet to pick up this story.

Developments will follow if/when they become available…

STEPHEN HAWKING: How to build a time machine

By STEPHEN HAWKING

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive ... hine.html#

Last updated at 10:08 AM on 3rd May 2010
All you need is a wormhole, the Large Hadron Collider or a rocket that goes really, really fast
Stephen Hawking

'Through the wormhole, the scientist can see himself as he was one minute ago. But what if our scientist uses the wormhole to shoot his earlier self? He's now dead. So who fired the shot?'

Hello. My name is Stephen Hawking. Physicist, cosmologist and something of a dreamer. Although I cannot move and I have to speak through a computer, in my mind I am free. Free to explore the universe and ask the big questions, such as: is time travel possible? Can we open a portal to the past or find a shortcut to the future? Can we ultimately use the laws of nature to become masters of time itself?

Time travel was once considered scientific heresy. I used to avoid talking about it for fear of being labelled a crank. But these days I'm not so cautious. In fact, I'm more like the people who built Stonehenge. I'm obsessed by time. If I had a time machine I'd visit Marilyn Monroe in her prime or drop in on Galileo as he turned his telescope to the heavens. Perhaps I'd even travel to the end of the universe to find out how our whole cosmic story ends.

To see how this might be possible, we need to look at time as physicists do - at the fourth dimension. It's not as hard as it sounds. Every attentive schoolchild knows that all physical objects, even me in my chair, exist in three dimensions. Everything has a width and a height and a length.

But there is another kind of length, a length in time. While a human may survive for 80 years, the stones at Stonehenge, for instance, have stood around for thousands of years. And the solar system will last for billions of years. Everything has a length in time as well as space. Travelling in time means travelling through this fourth dimension.

To see what that means, let's imagine we're doing a bit of normal, everyday car travel. Drive in a straight line and you're travelling in one dimension. Turn right or left and you add the second dimension. Drive up or down a twisty mountain road and that adds height, so that's travelling in all three dimensions. But how on Earth do we travel in time? How do we find a path through the fourth dimension?

Let's indulge in a little science fiction for a moment. Time travel movies often feature a vast, energy-hungry machine. The machine creates a path through the fourth dimension, a tunnel through time. A time traveller, a brave, perhaps foolhardy individual, prepared for who knows what, steps into the time tunnel and emerges who knows when. The concept may be far-fetched, and the reality may be very different from this, but the idea itself is not so crazy.

Physicists have been thinking about tunnels in time too, but we come at it from a different angle. We wonder if portals to the past or the future could ever be possible within the laws of nature. As it turns out, we think they are. What's more, we've even given them a name: wormholes. The truth is that wormholes are all around us, only they're too small to see. Wormholes are very tiny. They occur in nooks and crannies in space and time. You might find it a tough concept, but stay with me.
Enlarge Time travel through a wormhole

A wormhole is a theoretical 'tunnel' or shortcut, predicted by Einstein's theory of relativity, that links two places in space-time - visualised above as the contours of a 3-D map, where negative energy pulls space and time into the mouth of a tunnel, emerging in another universe. They remain only hypothetical, as obviously nobody has ever seen one, but have been used in films as conduits for time travel - in Stargate (1994), for example, involving gated tunnels between universes, and in Time Bandits (1981), where their locations are shown on a celestial map

Nothing is flat or solid. If you look closely enough at anything you'll find holes and wrinkles in it. It's a basic physical principle, and it even applies to time. Even something as smooth as a pool ball has tiny crevices, wrinkles and voids. Now it's easy to show that this is true in the first three dimensions. But trust me, it's also true of the fourth dimension. There are tiny crevices, wrinkles and voids in time. Down at the smallest of scales, smaller even than molecules, smaller than atoms, we get to a place called the quantum foam. This is where wormholes exist. Tiny tunnels or shortcuts through space and time constantly form, disappear, and reform within this quantum world. And they actually link two separate places and two different times.

Unfortunately, these real-life time tunnels are just a billion-trillion-trillionths of a centimetre across. Way too small for a human to pass through - but here's where the notion of wormhole time machines is leading. Some scientists think it may be possible to capture a wormhole and enlarge it many trillions of times to make it big enough for a human or even a spaceship to enter.

Given enough power and advanced technology, perhaps a giant wormhole could even be constructed in space. I'm not saying it can be done, but if it could be, it would be a truly remarkable device. One end could be here near Earth, and the other far, far away, near some distant planet.

Theoretically, a time tunnel or wormhole could do even more than take us to other planets. If both ends were in the same place, and separated by time instead of distance, a ship could fly in and come out still near Earth, but in the distant past. Maybe dinosaurs would witness the ship coming in for a landing.
The fastest manned vehicle in history was Apollo 10. It reached 25,000mph. But to travel in time we'll have to go more than 2,000 times faster

Now, I realise that thinking in four dimensions is not easy, and that wormholes are a tricky concept to wrap your head around, but hang in there. I've thought up a simple experiment that could reveal if human time travel through a wormhole is possible now, or even in the future. I like simple experiments, and champagne.

So I've combined two of my favourite things to see if time travel from the future to the past is possible.

Let's imagine I'm throwing a party, a welcome reception for future time travellers. But there's a twist. I'm not letting anyone know about it until after the party has happened. I've drawn up an invitation giving the exact coordinates in time and space. I am hoping copies of it, in one form or another, will be around for many thousands of years. Maybe one day someone living in the future will find the information on the invitation and use a wormhole time machine to come back to my party, proving that time travel will, one day, be possible.

In the meantime, my time traveller guests should be arriving any moment now. Five, four, three, two, one. But as I say this, no one has arrived. What a shame. I was hoping at least a future Miss Universe was going to step through the door. So why didn't the experiment work? One of the reasons might be because of a well-known problem with time travel to the past, the problem of what we call paradoxes.

Paradoxes are fun to think about. The most famous one is usually called the Grandfather paradox. I have a new, simpler version I call the Mad Scientist paradox.

I don't like the way scientists in movies are often described as mad, but in this case, it's true. This chap is determined to create a paradox, even if it costs him his life. Imagine, somehow, he's built a wormhole, a time tunnel that stretches just one minute into the past.
Stephen Hawking in a scene from Star Trek

Hawking in a scene from Star Trek with dinner guests from the past, and future: (from left) Albert Einstein, Data and Isaac Newton

Through the wormhole, the scientist can see himself as he was one minute ago. But what if our scientist uses the wormhole to shoot his earlier self? He's now dead. So who fired the shot? It's a paradox. It just doesn't make sense. It's the sort of situation that gives cosmologists nightmares.

This kind of time machine would violate a fundamental rule that governs the entire universe - that causes happen before effects, and never the other way around. I believe things can't make themselves impossible. If they could then there'd be nothing to stop the whole universe from descending into chaos. So I think something will always happen that prevents the paradox. Somehow there must be a reason why our scientist will never find himself in a situation where he could shoot himself. And in this case, I'm sorry to say, the wormhole itself is the problem.

In the end, I think a wormhole like this one can't exist. And the reason for that is feedback. If you've ever been to a rock gig, you'll probably recognise this screeching noise. It's feedback. What causes it is simple. Sound enters the microphone. It's transmitted along the wires, made louder by the amplifier, and comes out at the speakers. But if too much of the sound from the speakers goes back into the mic it goes around and around in a loop getting louder each time. If no one stops it, feedback can destroy the sound system.

The same thing will happen with a wormhole, only with radiation instead of sound. As soon as the wormhole expands, natural radiation will enter it, and end up in a loop. The feedback will become so strong it destroys the wormhole. So although tiny wormholes do exist, and it may be possible to inflate one some day, it won't last long enough to be of use as a time machine. That's the real reason no one could come back in time to my party.

Any kind of time travel to the past through wormholes or any other method is probably impossible, otherwise paradoxes would occur. So sadly, it looks like time travel to the past is never going to happen. A disappointment for dinosaur hunters and a relief for historians.

But the story's not over yet. This doesn't make all time travel impossible. I do believe in time travel. Time travel to the future. Time flows like a river and it seems as if each of us is carried relentlessly along by time's current. But time is like a river in another way. It flows at different speeds in different places and that is the key to travelling into the future. This idea was first proposed by Albert Einstein over 100 years ago. He realised that there should be places where time slows down, and others where time speeds up. He was absolutely right. And the proof is right above our heads. Up in space.

This is the Global Positioning System, or GPS. A network of satellites is in orbit around Earth. The satellites make satellite navigation possible. But they also reveal that time runs faster in space than it does down on Earth. Inside each spacecraft is a very precise clock. But despite being so accurate, they all gain around a third of a billionth of a second every day. The system has to correct for the drift, otherwise that tiny difference would upset the whole system, causing every GPS device on Earth to go out by about six miles a day. You can just imagine the mayhem that that would cause.

The problem doesn't lie with the clocks. They run fast because time itself runs faster in space than it does down below. And the reason for this extraordinary effect is the mass of the Earth. Einstein realised that matter drags on time and slows it down like the slow part of a river. The heavier the object, the more it drags on time. And this startling reality is what opens the door to the possibility of time travel to the future.

Right in the centre of the Milky Way, 26,000 light years from us, lies the heaviest object in the galaxy. It is a supermassive black hole containing the mass of four million suns crushed down into a single point by its own gravity. The closer you get to the black hole, the stronger the gravity. Get really close and not even light can escape. A black hole like this one has a dramatic effect on time, slowing it down far more than anything else in the galaxy. That makes it a natural time machine.

I like to imagine how a spaceship might be able to take advantage of this phenomenon, by orbiting it. If a space agency were controlling the mission from Earth they'd observe that each full orbit took 16 minutes. But for the brave people on board, close to this massive object, time would be slowed down. And here the effect would be far more extreme than the gravitational pull of Earth. The crew's time would be slowed down by half. For every 16-minute orbit, they'd only experience eight minutes of time.
The Large Hadron Collider

Inside the Large Hadron Collider

Around and around they'd go, experiencing just half the time of everyone far away from the black hole. The ship and its crew would be travelling through time. Imagine they circled the black hole for five of their years. Ten years would pass elsewhere. When they got home, everyone on Earth would have aged five years more than they had.

So a supermassive black hole is a time machine. But of course, it's not exactly practical. It has advantages over wormholes in that it doesn't provoke paradoxes. Plus it won't destroy itself in a flash of feedback. But it's pretty dangerous. It's a long way away and it doesn't even take us very far into the future. Fortunately there is another way to travel in time. And this represents our last and best hope of building a real time machine.

You just have to travel very, very fast. Much faster even than the speed required to avoid being sucked into a black hole. This is due to another strange fact about the universe. There's a cosmic speed limit, 186,000 miles per second, also known as the speed of light. Nothing can exceed that speed. It's one of the best established principles in science. Believe it or not, travelling at near the speed of light transports you to the future.

To explain why, let's dream up a science-fiction transportation system. Imagine a track that goes right around Earth, a track for a superfast train. We're going to use this imaginary train to get as close as possible to the speed of light and see how it becomes a time machine. On board are passengers with a one-way ticket to the future. The train begins to accelerate, faster and faster. Soon it's circling the Earth over and over again.

To approach the speed of light means circling the Earth pretty fast. Seven times a second. But no matter how much power the train has, it can never quite reach the speed of light, since the laws of physics forbid it. Instead, let's say it gets close, just shy of that ultimate speed. Now something extraordinary happens. Time starts flowing slowly on board relative to the rest of the world, just like near the black hole, only more so. Everything on the train is in slow motion.

This happens to protect the speed limit, and it's not hard to see why. Imagine a child running forwards up the train. Her forward speed is added to the speed of the train, so couldn't she break the speed limit simply by accident? The answer is no. The laws of nature prevent the possibility by slowing down time onboard.

Now she can't run fast enough to break the limit. Time will always slow down just enough to protect the speed limit. And from that fact comes the possibility of travelling many years into the future.

Imagine that the train left the station on January 1, 2050. It circles Earth over and over again for 100 years before finally coming to a halt on New Year's Day, 2150. The passengers will have only lived one week because time is slowed down that much inside the train. When they got out they'd find a very different world from the one they'd left. In one week they'd have travelled 100 years into the future. Of course, building a train that could reach such a speed is quite impossible. But we have built something very like the train at the world's largest particle accelerator at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.

Deep underground, in a circular tunnel 16 miles long, is a stream of trillions of tiny particles. When the power is turned on they accelerate from zero to 60,000mph in a fraction of a second. Increase the power and the particles go faster and faster, until they're whizzing around the tunnel 11,000 times a second, which is almost the speed of light. But just like the train, they never quite reach that ultimate speed. They can only get to 99.99 per cent of the limit. When that happens, they too start to travel in time. We know this because of some extremely short-lived particles, called pi-mesons. Ordinarily, they disintegrate after just 25 billionths of a second. But when they are accelerated to near-light speed they last 30 times longer.

It really is that simple. If we want to travel into the future, we just need to go fast. Really fast. And I think the only way we're ever likely to do that is by going into space. The fastest manned vehicle in history was Apollo 10. It reached 25,000mph. But to travel in time we'll have to go more than 2,000 times faster. And to do that we'd need a much bigger ship, a truly enormous machine. The ship would have to be big enough to carry a huge amount of fuel, enough to accelerate it to nearly the speed of light. Getting to just beneath the cosmic speed limit would require six whole years at full power.

The initial acceleration would be gentle because the ship would be so big and heavy. But gradually it would pick up speed and soon would be covering massive distances. In one week it would have reached the outer planets. After two years it would reach half-light speed and be far outside our solar system. Two years later it would be travelling at 90 per cent of the speed of light. Around 30 trillion miles away from Earth, and four years after launch, the ship would begin to travel in time. For every hour of time on the ship, two would pass on Earth. A similar situation to the spaceship that orbited the massive black hole.

After another two years of full thrust the ship would reach its top speed, 99 per cent of the speed of light. At this speed, a single day on board is a whole year of Earth time. Our ship would be truly flying into the future.

The slowing of time has another benefit. It means we could, in theory, travel extraordinary distances within one lifetime. A trip to the edge of the galaxy would take just 80 years. But the real wonder of our journey is that it reveals just how strange the universe is. It's a universe where time runs at different rates in different places. Where tiny wormholes exist all around us. And where, ultimately, we might use our understanding of physics to become true voyagers through the fourth dimension.

Is the Sun a conscious entity? - NEWSMONSTER

Greg Sams’ latest book Sun of gOd argues that the sun is a conscious entity. Bella Land talks to Greg about his theories and his life as a ‘new age’ guru and inventor of the VeggieBurger.

Interviewed by Suzanne Bella Land

SBL: Greg, how did your interest in galactic phenomenon, quantum physics

and the nature of reality arise?

GS: I had a microscope and a telescope by the time I was ten and spent a lot of my pre-teen years peering into the other¹ worlds they revealed. Then I read The Dawn of Magic, finding out about Charles Fort and many weird and wonderful things of the sort that were not taught in school. My display of the solar system and its workings won first prize at the eighth grade science fair, and at the age of 16, I spent several hours in a Spanish field, seriously attempting to teleport to a star.

SBL: So this interest has been since child-hood. Greg, when I first met you in London in the early 90’s through mutual friends and then visited your shop, I’d never seen so many beautiful fractal designs as I did at ‘Strange Attractions’. At the time it seemed as if your initiative was to spread the meme of appreciation for chaos theory and by extension to celebrate the natural interplay of order and chaos within existence. Was this the case?

GS: In part, yes, and chaos theory, to me, was the proof that everywhere in the Universe things were self-organizing into harmonious systems, without central control. What resounded for me was that human beings are unique in preventing this natural evolution of a system, believing that better results can be achieved through coercive central control, however well meaning. It’s how we try to run our world, and it sucks – delivering us wars, refugees, famines, repression.

SBL: Would you say interest in chaos theory has increased since the 90’s?

GS: Most people are aware of chaos theory now, and know about things like the Butterfly Effect. After a few years of owning the shop I realized a book needed to be written that hadn’t yet. So in 1998 I published my first book, Uncommon Sense – the state is out of date, which very clearly put forward the most important message that chaos theory has for us as a society. The one constant on all my flyers for this book has been: NOT RECOMMENDED BY LEADING POLITICIANS.

SBL: Is there a relationship or commonality between your interest in quantum physics and your current fascination with the SUN?

GS: I’m just a simple country boy, but darned sure it is all connected.

SBL: In your book Sun of gOd, you put forth a convincing argument that the SUN is a self-aware, sentient entity with an interconnected consciousness. We’ve heard this said regarding earth aka Gaia, but it’s not popularly said of the Sun.

GS: It used to be pretty conventional, and was understood on every continent, culture, or century you cared to choose - up until the Christian era. It’s incredibly absent from our understanding of the world we live in, even though nothing could be more relevant.

Today, of course, most people will spend more time contemplating sunglass styles than they will the most important thing in their life – the Sun.

SBL: As children we are naturally drawn to depict the Sun, often with a smiling face in the middle and Sunrays shining all over everything. Why do you think this is?

GS: That¹s a great example of how innate and natural it is to see Sun as being alive. What is difficult to explain is just how our culture continues to live in ignorance of the happy conscious loving Sun that a young child so easily recognizes.

SBL: Why do you think the SUN has stopped being universally revered?

GS: It’s a pretty grim story at times, but a willingness to kill large numbers of people and start with fresh generations can be very effective at changing fundamental cultural attitudes. So many other things, from the quantum to the galactic, make sense once you just put this firmly in the picture. There has been no inkling of it in our culture now for up to seventeen centuries, depending upon where you come from. It is also a really BIG subject to take on board after being so long under wraps, and then, for many of those seventeen centuries people were burned for holding such beliefs. When I was writing Sun of God, I realized how much of Pre-Christian culture has been destroyed. It’s a fascinating story why it got covered up.

SBL: And why it is such a taboo subject?

GS: Yeah, why its so damn taboo, and why so many people got burned for

Chanting for dancing naked under the moon and worshipping the Sun.

All pre or non-Christian cultures saw the earth and Sun as alive – it is the natural way to look at it. There is so much interest today in Mayan calendars and pyramids, the ancient Egyptians, Native American culture, Celtic monuments like Stonehenge and the Hindu religion. All of these incorporate a view of Sun as divine, yet we still seem to tiptoe around that defining part of their culture.

SBL: In your book, through multi-faceted means, you resurrect the ancient idea of the Sun’s sentience and bring various approaches into the discussion from quantum to anthropological, to philosophical and poetic. Can you speak a bit about this?

GS: I’m really trying to put some new thought into the meaning of it all, knowing that stars are living beings, and that we live in a galaxy full of them, all sending electro-magnetic signals outwards, rather like the neurons in our brain. And this asks the question of how clouds of simple gas self-assemble into such a complex construct as a star. And of course, light, the most mysterious of the quantum characters, is what the Sun is all about, and we shed some light on that.

SBL: It’s a stunning line of thought and also interesting how light is used in language as a medium of understanding, as you just demonstrated,

GS: Right, it’s built into our understanding, we say that ideas are brilliant or people are dazzling, the light of my life…

SBL: Illuminating thoughts, radiant beauty…. And the Sun is something that as children we are naturally drawn to depict. It’s also a symbol of joy and health…a smiling face is very often drawn in its center. Children’s art is full of Suns and Sunrays shining on everything. Why do you think this is?

GS: That’s a great example of how innate and natural it is to see Sun as being alive. What is difficult to explain is just how our culture continues to live in ignorance of the happy conscious loving Sun that a young child so easily recognizes.

SBL: It’s something innate. What was the timeline on writing Sun of gOd and your approach to writing it?

GS: It was seven years in the making, and though at times it may have been day and night, it was never 9 to 5. The concept and structure of an entire chapter might come to me on a Greek island, and then be finished months later. The Island might be Samothraki and my mate Stella Nutella could be playing a wicked set, but I might have to exit the dance floor to scribble under a nearby tree.

SBL: That sounds in keeping with your spirit! What was the premise you had in mind for the book when you started to write it?

GS: I was actually embarking upon a book about the innate intelligence of the organism, which would investigate the intentionality of evolution (I later found out that a guy called Lamarck beat me to it a couple hundred years ago). But my first attempt at writing this quickly went into solar ‘topic drift’ and I soon realized that this was a bigger and more exciting subject – a very big “elephant in the room” that just so much needed exposure. I tell people “I’m bringing the Sun back in from the cold.”

But I’d thought of the Sun as being a living intelligent thing since my taste of university at UC Berkeley in 1966, but I’d never devoted a lot of thought to it – I was always oh-so-busy doing other things. The book itself is not all about the Sun. It uses the awareness of a conscious Sun as the basis for looking, in a very different light, at much of what we already know about the world.

I’m simply not a scholar when it comes to the history of solar worship, much of which was written down by the people who destroyed every vestige they could find of it. I was just saying “how do we interpret having a conscious Sun in OUR civilization?” I studied a lot about the Sun and was amazed at the stuff that scientists have only discovered in the last 10 or 20 years. And everything that I discovered just served to underline my conviction that the ancients were right to see Sun as a living being. Its intelligence is at such a scale that dwarfs out own notion of intelligent life.

It’s made up of electromagnetic energy, it’s an engine of light and we use light as the most efficient medium for transmitting our own information technology. It’s an incredible medium. And the Sun is a rather complex, multi-layered organism. It’s not just some accidental ball of fire in the sky. Of course, a living Sun makes us see galaxies in a new light. Within galaxies stars are living grouped together in communities, rather than being randomly scattered around. And all the stars are constantly moving around, which is what apparently stops gravity from pulling them all together into one big lump. As the book developed it became clear that as we look more into the subject we begin to see light itself in a new light. Eventually it becomes clear that everything shares in a consciousness that makes up our universe. And drawing lines between people and other animals, or trees and blades of grass, becomes really difficult.

SBL: You mean through the interconnected aspect all life depends upon the Sun?

GS: Everything is a manifestation of it. We are all stored solar energy. Solar energy accumulates in plants. If you eat animals, their diet is ultimately plants and we are all just recycling the Sunlight originally absorbed by the vegetable world. We are this energetic being that takes in fuel and turns it into something else and it’s like an energy reincarnating itself.

SBL: When I was a child, my mother told me that we are partially composed of stardust. It was the most spectacular thought and still amazes me and as you know, it’s true! It makes sense that we would naturally attune to that of which we’re made, wouldn’t it?

GS: It most certainly does.

SBL: Have you ever done a Sun bathing ritual or a Sun eating ritual?

GS: I’ve got a few different ways of communing with the Sun, but deeply breathing in the energy of the Sun and infusing my body with it is a constant component. How about you?

SBL: Similar to yours…at Sunrise or Sunset, preferably in a naked state, using breath, your imagination and your hands in an energy receiving and giving way, you usher the Sun’s rays into your body and imagine that you are being cleansed by the Suns rays and allow them to radiate everywhere. When you’ve been cleansed you can do the same thing again, except this time eat the Sunrays in every part of you, including spiritually while sharing this nourishment to all on a spiritual level. I was told that it is an American Indian ritual. Don’t know if it is, but it’s incredibly clarifying and healing.

GS: (laughs) It really is. It was a sad day when we started going inside and looking at the floor to pray.

SBL: Did you work off of, or collaborate with the Gaian ethos in the writing of your book?

GS: As an old hippie and natural foods entrepreneur in my earlier years, I always agreed with the Gaia ideology but it’s well-trodden ground and I realized that a couple chapters were needed on religion and organized religion so I studied many of the world’s religions taking a fairly cursory overview of the history of organized belief systems. Zoroastrianism was one of the most fascinating belief systems to learn more about.

SBL: In what ways?

GS: It was the first really big organized religion, having a huge impact upon many core aspects of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Zoroastrians were the first to recognize a universal god, of light, though not an exclusive god. They were the first religion to recognize “goodness” as a virtue, and innovated many other concepts that are still going, like heaven and hell and a day of judgment. And they knew about the Sun!

For me, recognizing the nature of that which is the most important thing in our lives, adds a huge piece to the jigsaw puzzle of our cosmos. So many other things, from the quantum to the galactic, make sense once you just put this firmly in the picture.

SBL: The galaxies are full of exquisitely beautiful, perfect and ingenious dances, patterns and music, echoed back here on earth…secrets beyond measure ….Has your exploration of the Sun led you to other sorts of epiphanies you’d like to share about?

GS: I had an epiphany in my Goa garden where I suddenly realized that light is intelligence. It just made so much sense at that mad moment, and has integrated with everything I have discovered since - everything else that goes into the picture adds to the coherence of it.

And trying to get my head round the nature of light was, is, and always will be a trip. How it doesn’t experience time, it is always everywhere at once, because it is traveling at the speed of light, so time doesn’t exist for it, so the light that leaves a distant star reaches our Sun at the same time it left, in it’s world. In our dimension, it’s traveled all that distance and when it lands at the back of our eyeball that’s an actual posse of photons that came from all those light years away.

GS: We’re absorbing energy from a distant world, though in its timeless world it’s still at the star from which it came.

SBL: And so we are also being nourished by starlight photons…. the ancients must have realized these celestial principles, to have come up with their cosmologies, the zodiac, Stonehenge, the pyramids etc. They must have been sensitively attuned to the cosmos or had ways to attune.

GS: Stargazing….going outside stargazing. That’s what people used to do a lot, before electric lighting, radio, TV, computers and all the other competitors for our attention came along. In that cosmic interaction our ancestors were actually absorbing the vibration of those stars and the planets and so got information about them that we don’t even think of. Ancient people sought to understand the characters of these things because they were in a close relationship with them.

SBL: If a person whose sensitivity has been dulled by modern lifestyle lives out in nature for a while, couldn’t their sensitivity be awakened even if they’ve been media bombarded since birth?

GS: I think the potential is always there, sure. Human beings made all of those understandings and connections and that means they can be rediscovered. That doesn’t mean they all will be, though. We’ve lost touch with our senses and as smart as we thought that we were when the tsunami hit, it was all the other animals that ran, that knew what was going on.

SBL: Yes, reportedly, in addition to the elephants, even the domesticated animals knew. What to do about the mechanistic and consumerist mindset?

GS: People are getting out of touch. We’ve got to get out there too, even if it’s just to a park or garden to get in touch! Let the Sun’s rays hit you and feel the light of the moon and the rustle of the trees. You can’t get these energies from a screen, however powerful your computer is.

SBL: A nice way to get out in the elements is to fly kites! You’re a long-time avid kite flyer. The last time I saw you we flew a kite in Hyde Park on a nice windy day. What do you enjoy about kite flying?

GS: Yes, thanks for the happy reminder. Kite flying gives me a good excuse to get outdoors in the wind and look up in the sky and it’s nice if I’m by a lake as well. Sometimes the kite demands attention and you’ve got to look after it when the wind is dropping or getting really strong, but it’s just a great place to be.

SBL: Your father got you into it as I recall?

GS: Yes, my father invented a rather special flying device, which he refused to call a kite, and which technically was not, as it lacked a wing. It’s on sale as the UFO (unconventional flying object) kite, made by Cochrane’s in Oxford. I used to love flying them with my dad. He caused stirs all over the world with it. It is made from reflective foil and flashes as it spins as it flies, looking very like a UFO when it would be flashing the Sun’s light.

SBL: When did the intelligence of the SUN first strike you? How did it strike you?

GS: Well, it struck me at the top of strawberry canyon in Berkley in 1967, I guess. I was on my first acid trip. I was up at the top of that hill and I stared into the sun for quite a while. I couldn’t do that now; I’d probably go blind. It wasn’t an epiphany. It was just recognition that this was an entity, a conscious thing there. Look at this thing that gives us life. We think it’s dead, that’s kind of ungrateful. I never got beyond that until I started to think about the next book to write. I was going to write about intelligent evolution and this is a different take on that, so topic drift led into recognition of the Sun as a celestial being and that just took me over and became a bigger book which is about the oneness of it all but the Sun was the key to getting there.

SBL: I’ve had similar feelings and moments with the sun, a kind of relating, empathizing and just sensing that it is exceptionally wise, as if it understands everything. Perhaps many people feel this but don’t say so?

GS: Yes, I suspect there are many Sun lovers who don’t yet know it, or are in hiding.

SBL: The intelligence of light. Even just thinking this thought changes consciousness and perception.

GS: And reflects in language, as we said earlier, you know, you shed light on something, in light of this…testifies to this to this.

SBL: A subconscious awareness. So, what you’re saying is that we really do revere light, and it’s properties, but have conceptualized it into some other realm. There is a disconnect. Divine light for example is not normally associated with the light we experience during the day from the Sun, or bounced off the moon. It is commonly thought to be something perceivable only in a metaphysical state.

GS: Yeah, we have this silly thing that divine light is invisible. Well, ALL light is invisible. You only see “visible” light when it bounces off of something else. At night, you don’t see the light of the Sun streaming through space until it hits other planets. And you say, oh yeah, there’s light out there. Maybe there is a hard-to-reach ineffable “other” light out there, but that’s no reason to ignore the one that blesses us every day.

SBL: I see…literally!

GS: It’s all part of the electromagnetic spectrum, so it’s vibrating photons.

SBL: Light then be said to be the alpha and omega, birthing itself? Does light have to be sparked into existence or is it the eternal spark without beginning or end?

GS: As energy, photons don’t require a space or a place to be and they don’t experience time so they could have existed before the Big Bang. If energy is what was originally condensed into matter, then you next have matter re-forming as an energy-creating device, a star. And this star is an amazing medium for the transmutation of simple hydrogen and helium atoms into all the other elements of the Periodic Table.

And on our little planet we have these same elements transforming into devices that take in the pure energy of light and transform it into the energy of life, experienced through human beings and redwood trees, butterflies and daffodils. …and it’s this sort of birth and re-birth going on all the time, between energy and matter.

SBL: That reminds me of this beautiful thing my father said. Having read a lot of the natural philosophers, Steiner, Goethe, Ernst Laird, he suggested to me that matter is solidified light. This thought has since become part of my psycho-spiritual fabric and seeped into poetry. What do you say to this? Are we made of solidified light?

GS: Yes, we are – you were lucky to have such en-lightened parents! We are all materialized energy and energy is light. Save for the hydrogen, all that makes up us, and everything else, was once forged upon a star.

So you see, Wyz, people DO read your posts. I was puzzled when you said your last long one "sank without a trace", because I didn't remember a long one since you posted Credo Mutwa after I brought it up. I went back and looked, and sure enough I don't see a post since those Mutwa posts of April 25th, unless you count the recent one of images of your medals. However, I have to tell you, I never write with the expectation that anyone will respond in particular to any of my posts, and in fact they often go uncommented on. Especially what I consider some of my more thoughtful posts. If someone writes with the desire for a comment, I find it a good practice to turn my 'comment' into a 'question', if I truly want feedback. In other words, ask for it! Ask for someone's opinion, you might be surprised to know how much of an impact your words have already had! And since you stressed the concept of "Service To Other", I can safely remind you that true service to the Other(s) isn't looking for recompense, although as pointed out by others above it often DOES help for us to let each other know that we appreciate and respect the effort put in......not so much as a "reward" for someone's Service, but to validate their decision to serve. Even if we don't agree with something they might say. PHatZ was like that; I didn't necessarily agree with many of his conclusions, or what he found to be important, but I recognized the fact that he usually put a lot of time and thought into what he had to say, and he did it with the intention of helping alert others to what's happening around us.

I must apologize to several here; there were some awesome responses. And I made a good friend out of the BARgain, you know who you are. (c;

And thank you folks above for your kind and supportive responses. It sort of restores some of my confidence in the internets. (c:

Dex, I'll have to ponder your post. But most definately, there is a war for our souls. Some of us are on the front lines. Well, for that matter, we are ALL on the front lines.

I must go for now; I have an NA meeting in fifteen minutes. I love NA (AA was ok but I had/have myriad addictions and NA addresses ALL addictions. Alcohol is a drug. So is my sitting in front of this computer 12 hours a day. heheh

So for today, which is all we have, I am safe and sound.

Michigan State Capitol. Wikipedia image.

In a crowded downtown Lansing, Michigan, on June 10, 2010, a witness reports a silent, low flying, wingless light moving across the late morning sky, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"When I got to Kalamazoo (street) I realized it didn't have wings or a fin," the witness stated. "The metal and shape reminded me of old 50's trailers that were all steel/aluminum/whatever."

On this warm day with many people outside walking, the witness realized that no one was looking up and the larger crowd most likely missed seeing the UFO.

"I looked around and realized that no one was looking up and that MOST people DON'T. Watch people next time you are out - they are either looking at the ground or at eye-level. Anything could be flying overhead and, if it doesn't make noise, no one's going to see it."

Stories about the evil eye have been around since well as early as history began.. Its VERY well known in WItchcraft, Occult and Sorcery Circles. And why I won't look into directly into someones eyes unless I know them really well and trust them. Likewise I wear sunglasses. I've been told a few times my gaze can cause physical effects in people.

Quote:
People Emit Measurable Energy Beams from Their Eyes, Phenomena Is Basis for Evil Eye

http://beforeitsnews.com/news/79/316/Pe ... _Eye.html#

Have you ever stared at the back of someone's head only to have that person to turn around and look at you?

People can shoot energy beams out of their eyes that others can feel. Brainwaves in the 1–40 Hertz, 1–10 microvolt range are emitted through the eye and can be measured using a high-impedance electrode housed inside electromagnetically insulated goggles, according to psychiatrist and author Colin A. Ross, M.D.

In his research, Dr. Ross has discovered proof that the eye emits electromagnetic energy which he calls an "eyebeam" or "human ocular extramission." Ross has developed a device to detect that energy, called an Electromagnetic Beam Detection System which is detailed in U.S. Patent Application
20090046246

.

The sense of being stared at is the basis of evil eye beliefs, which are regarded as superstitions because the emission of any form of energy from the human eye has been rejected by Western science. The "human ocular extramission," is physiologically active and has distinct electrophysiological properties from simultaneous brainwave recordings over the forehead. Western science's rejection of evil eye beliefs may be based on an erroneous rejection of a widespread component of human consciousness, the sense of being stared at, which may in turn be based on a real electrophysiological signal, writes Ross in an article in the April 4, 2010 edition of
Anthropology of Consciousness

.

According to Ross, human ocular extramission can be detected at short range in an electromagnetically insulated environment using a high-impedance electrode. The results of the recordings demonstrate that an electromagnetic signal emerges from the eyes, and that in some frequency ranges it has greater amplitude than the field emerging through the skull, which is consistent with the Ross’ hypothesis.

Human ocular extramission may be one example of a general electromagnetic field emitted from the heart, abdominal plexes, other body locations, and the body as a whole. According to the theory of human energy fields, reductionist biological models of the brain–mind field should be replaced with a telecommunications model, because a telecommunications model generates a wide range of testable hypotheses that are not possible within a bioreductionist model. For instance, it is possible that a medicine man may emit a focused electromagnetic signal during a fertility ritual that actually increases the germination rate of seeds in a field. This is a testable scientific hypothesis because an electromagnetic gun that mimics the emission of the medicine man could be used to affect germination rates in a hydroponic garden.

A wide range of beliefs in spirits could provide us subjective, culturally transformed testimony concerning the interaction of human beings with electromagnetic fields in the environment. The entire biosphere is built on the interaction of organisms with extremely weak natural electromagnetic signals—for example, the synthesis of chlorophyll by plants requires that the plant capture photons and harness their energy to drive biological processes. Similarly, human beings capture photons in order to synthesize vitamin D.

Photons in the visible range are only a tiny subset of the sea of electromagnetic information in which all life forms have evolved for a billion years. Ross writes that we should listen for the testable theories of electromagnetic field interactions hidden in a wide range of rituals, beliefs, experiences, and practices. The theory of human energy fields leads to a wide range of studies that marry anthropology and electrophysiology. The electrophysiological basis of evil eye belief is but one example of the general theory.

Ross has been researching a new science and medicine focused on the human body's electromagnetic field, which are detailed in his book, Human Energy Fields.

"The experimental proof of the reality of the human eyebeam is crucial in developing the science of human energy fields," says Dr. Ross. "The existence of the human eyebeam has been dismissed by psychologists, physiologists, physicists and virtually all modern scientists. This represents a big step forward."

The invention provides for a Line of Sight (LOS) electromagnetic beam (EM) detection system configured with an enclosure, a detection device, a processing device, a storage device, and a communication device. The enclosure may or may not be electromagnetically shielded from the surrounding environment. The enclosure may contain one or more detection devices and one or more portals configured for a user to look through. The detection devices may be a non-contacting, active-dry electroencephalogram (EEG) electrode or a high input impedance EEG electrode. The processing device may be a specifically programmed general purpose computer.

The communication device may be auditory and/or visual. The storage device may store signals from the detection device for later analysis and statistical manipulation. In some embodiments, the LOS detection system may be used as a switch responding to interaction with a LOS beam emanating from an ocular cavity. Ross has proposed a series of future studies designed to determine whether human ocular extramission is the basis of evil eye beliefs.

That is also the reason I wear eyeglasses it dissipates the eyebeam If I were to look at anyone they immediatly think "Whoa" my aura also scares people I went up to one person and he said "Don't hurt me, don't hurt me, please don't hurt me" I told him to calm down one guy came at me and was angry he took one look into my eyes and got frieghtened and backed down he said this was in (cromer high school the one I went to after beacon hill) he said "you ain't human are you?" I LOLED and said "maybe I am, maybe I am not who knows?" most days I don't fit into the human role of things I am too knowledge-able on rather Odd subjects, Paranormal subjects I also see the energy Signature of ghosts and can sense them VERY SHARPLY, I usually see things others DON'T it's gotta be a curse like one time I was looking and concentrating on a light bulb, I put all my anger into it and it exploded of course it was on at the time it exploded peices went everywhere! I also look at savage dogs you know ones that bail other people up in corners they take one look into my eyes and their tails GO BETWEEN THEIR LEGS AND THEY RUN YELPING!.

Billionaire Space Pioneer Robert Bigelow Warns of Dangers of UFOs

Bodhi Thunder

“I’ve been a researcher and student of U.F.O.’s for many, many years,” Mr. Bigelow said. “Anybody that does research, if people bother to do quality research, come away absolutely convinced. You don’t have to have personal encounters."

He added: “People have been killed. People have been hurt. It’s more than observational kind of data.”(source: new york times)

In a New York Times interview with the billionaire space pioneer, Robert Bigelow warns that people have been hurt and killed by what the Vatican has called our 'Alien Brothers.'

Bigelow is in the process of building a space port in New Mexico. According to his website
"Bigelow Aerospace is dedicated to developing next-generation crewed space complexes to revolutionize space commerce and open up the final frontier to all of humanity. At Bigelow Aerospace, we're building the future today!"

Evidently what Bigelow is referring to when he warns of ET is the rash of reported mysterious disappearances of fighter jets and aircraft during the cold war. During that time it was reported that the US and the Brits had an open fire policy on the ETs. In short, pilots were ordered to try to shoot UFOs out of the sky.

See Also

As you can imagine our 'Alien Brothers' didn't take kindly to that. The story goes that they retaliated by taking out quite a few of our fighter jets and airliners.

ET must not have liked our brand of hospitality. Later, according to the story, the military gave up on trying to shoot down the UFOs because they were losing too many of their aircraft.

Whether ET is our space brothers or not, it is clear they don't like to interfere in our disasters. There is a monumental oil gusher in the Gulf and humanity could use a little help right now.

However, there were some witness reports of a UFO over Chernobyl. The witnesses said that the UFOs interfered to save humanity from the Nuke disaster. But they evidently didn't do a good enough job because it is estimated that a million people lost their lives to the radiation that spread throughout the planet.

See Also

ETs have also been said to do a lot of work with cows. They are said to be responsible for the mysterious cattle mutilations throughout the planet.

See Also

Perhaps Bigelow is correct in that Aliens aren't that friendly. But at this point I am more concerned about corporate criminals and the US military industrial complex than ET.
These mad power elite seem intent on killing most of the planet for greed and profit.

ETs just seem interested in doing some sightseeing and experimenting on a crazed human population.

Maybe they are wondering what the hell is wrong with all of us.

Hi Dex:

All the intrigue is interesting but we are all culpable because we all benefit from an economy that depends on oil. Plain and simple. That these types of accidents will happen is the "cost of doing business."

Also this spill will in hindsight be a trigger for developing alternative fuel sources that we've all been talking about but the incentive wasn't great enough and maybe now it will be.

I guess I'm not into bloodletting because what goes around comes around in all ways.

I saw something this morning I think challenges the teaching universe with high Exec. Hayward speaking before congress about an email aired on CNN...It read..it's done, who cares, it'll probably be fine...4 days later boom.

You know how it goes when people say 'never'?

Very wrong attitude...when it comes down to really important safety issues that statement was a big mistake. This one was devastating.
Think about it.

Mohammad The Pedophile
PEDOPHILIA : [NL] (1906): sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object.

[Scriptural Evidence] Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64: Sahih Bukhari [the most venerated and authentic Islamic source]
Narrated 'Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).

Montgomerry Watts states: "Muhammed seemed to have felt a SPECIAL TENDERNESS towards children."

The Moral Standard Muslims look upto, Prophet Mohammad : " ... Sounds like child molestation to me. It does not appear to me that the founder of Islam was a man of peace or good moral character. " - Anonymous.

Muslims Practicing Islam :

Compilation of Ishaq b. Mansur al-Kasaj, ... found in Chapters on Marriage and Divorce, translated by Spectorsky, in the ruling that a woman "IS OF AGE WHEN SHE HAS REACHED HER NINTH YEAR !"

" Two iraqi men, aged 28 amd 34, who live in lincoln, nebraska, married two iraqi girls, aged 13 and 14, in a private Islamic ceremony attended by family and friends. The two men have been arrested, charged with the sexual assault of a child and could be sentenced to 50 years of prison because the marriage age in nebraska is at least 17 years of age. Their attorney argued that the men didn't know about the law and that they were merely following their religious custom of courtship and marriage. Do they really do such things in today's Iraq? " - Abdul Abdi

" The point I would like to make is that The Muslim world has been exploiting young girls for quite sometime now in the name of Islam. These are child abuse and it does occur on a daily basis throughout Islamic world, including your birth place, Somalia. Rich Arab Muslims have been caught on the exit ports of India and Malaysia leaving with clueless, helpless girls clutching onto their dolls and other meager belongings. " -Faisal Hassan.

"Now you want to celebrate American man made system while ignoring one of the things islamic shariah APPROVES. What a shameful statement?!!. Please note: Islamically, there is NOTHING wrong of marrying fifteen OR LESS as long as they have period and full feminhood signs. Any women reach the age of period can be married if and when she decided to ratify the contract of marraige.. That was the way our Prophet peace upon him got marry Caasha [ Ayesha ] . And that was the way our great Somali women delivered the majority of us. I DON'T THINK YOU WILL DARE TO SAY OUR PROPHET (PBUH) EXPLOITED ON CAASHA. [ Ayesha / Aisha ]" - daud7@aol.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (Daud7)

Inspired By Islam (What the most famous cleric has to say):

From Khomeini's book, "Tahrirolvasyleh", fourth volume, Darol Elm, Gom, Iran, 1990 :

A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However he should not penetrate, sodomising the child is OK. If the man penetrates and damages the child then he should be responsible for her subsistence throughout her life. This girl, however does not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girls sister.
[...]
It is better for a girl to marry in such a time when she would begin menstruation at her husband's house rather than her father's home. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven.

How it all began ( a long time ago in the isolated deserts of Arabia) :

Already, when Aisha (the daughter of Abu Bakr, Mohammad's closest friend and unquestioning ally) was about 4-5 years old Muhammad started dreaming of a union with her [Ref: SAHIKH BUKHARI, 5:235] and he wasted no time in realizing his dreams, inspite of the fact that object of his dreams was a mere child.Perhaps you want to assume that it is "normal" for a 50+ year old man to dream of marrying a 4-5 old child, and then ACTUALLY ask for her hand at 6?

Is it normal for an oversexed old man (Muhammad had over 9 wives and concubines) to dream of a union with a 4-5 year old girl?

Muhammad ( SAW ) was basically oversexed, his sexual relationship with Aisha is a special case, which fits his strong need for a larger latitude to satisfy his sexual urge, as is witnessed by:
"The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)." And Sa'id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven)." [Bukhari.1:268]

When she was 6, Muhammad asked Abu Bakr, Aisha's father, for her hand. Abu Bakr thought it was improper, because, as he said "I am your brother"; Muhammad brushed aside Abu Bakr's reservation by saying that it was perfectly lawful for him to marry Aisha [ Ref: SAHIKH BUKHAR I7:18].

What happened to " there is no compulsion in matters of religion ?" Anyway what compulsion did Muhhammad need being a prophet his word was law, he restricted men to only four wives when he himself had more than four, that was a convenient exemption for Muhhammad.

So, Aisha was betrothed to Muhammad, and 3 years later, i.e. when Aisha was 9, the marriage was consumed. And Muhammad was 53 then [SAHIH BUKHARI 5:236,7:64,7:65,7:88] .

The 3 year waiting period probably had to do with the fact that at that time Aisha had contracted some disease, whereby she, temporarily lost her hair. Aisha was then socially and psychologically still a child as is evidenced by the fact that she was still given to her toys, she was unaware of what was happening around her, and her playmates behave as would the children at present times [Sahih Bukhari 8:151,5:234].

Aisha became Muhammad's favourite wife. And the sexuality in the relationship was predominant [ SAHIH BUKHARI .1.270, 3:36, 7:6, 3:148, 3:149, 3:150, 7:142, IbnSa'd 1pg165 ]. Later, Aisha was to be called the "mother of believers".

If you are wandering, yes, the relationship was pedophilic.

When did the sexual relations between Prophet Mohammad and his child bride begin?

Unfortunately we do not have any video recordings of such events. Neither can we expect that there would be any explicit statements regarding this. In any case it is certain that she had NOT reached puberty when she moved into Muhammad's house, which in itself, contrary to the prevailing social norms, is a tacit implication that he may indulge in whatever fantasies he may have had when he asked for Aisha's hand. And Muhammad did have fantasies.

Volume 8, Book 73, Number 151:

Narrated 'Aisha: I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah's Apostle used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, BUT the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for 'Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fateh-al-Bari page 143, Vol.13)

It is, however, very unlikely that Muhammad would have waited for the onset of the menses; or at most it could have been just after the 1st drops. The evidence is necessarily indirect.

# His strong desire to "graze of the (tree) of which nothing has been eaten before", as his other wives had not been virgins.

# Menses or fasting do not reduce Muhammad's desire and potency for sex. His nightly rounds to his wives(lastly 12-13) did require more than average potency.

# New additions to his harem lead to intensive sexual activity, e.g. arrival of Maria lead to increased, initial spurt of sexual activity to the neglect of others .

# The intervals between prayers are used for quick stands "I used to wash the traces of Janaba (semen) from the clothes of the Prophet and he used to go for prayers while traces of water were still on it."

# Other wives try to please Muhammad by sacrificing their turns in favor of Aisha.

# During his last fatal illness he cries: "Where will I be tomorrow? Where will I be tomorrow?", seeking Aisha's turn.

Prophet Say: Marry Young Virgins

Volume 7, Book 62, Number 17:

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:

When I got married, Allah's Apostle said to me, "What type of lady have you married?" I replied, "I have married a matron' He said, "Why, don't you have a liking for the young virgins and for fondling them?" Jabir also said: Allah's Apostle said, "Why didn't you marry a young girl so that you might play with her and she with you?'

Silent Children :

Volume 7, Book 62, Number 67:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "A matron should not be given in marriage except after consulting her; and a virgin should not be given in marriage except after her permission." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! How can we know her permission?" He said, "Her silence (indicates her permission)."

Where sex is akin to a crime, silence is admission of your guilt. What a corruption of "fitrah" ( human nature).

What religion condones the destruction of childhood? What are we who daily avow our undying love for Allah to do against a system that ruthlessly oppresses its youngest and brightest ?

* What was Aisha's age? I have heard other figures ... (A question also known as: How many of your own sources will you deny ? )

All the relevant sources (Bukhari, Ibn Hisham, Tabari, Ibn al-Athir, Ibn Sa'd, Ibn Hanbal, etc.) maintain that Aisha was bethroted to Mohammed when she was 6, and the marraige was consummated 3 years later.

'Mahommad - The Word of Allah' written by Anne-Marie Delcambre. (Anne-Marie Delcambre has a doctorate in 'Islamology', and taught Islamic Civilisation at the Saint Joseph University of Beyrouth in Lebanon). On page 69, it says that he was married to her when she was 9 years old.

Dates commonly accepted by scholars: Birth Muhammad(570), birth Aisha(614 or 615). Bethrothal(620 or 621), Consummation of marriage(623 or 624). In particular the "consummation" of marriage is said to have taken place after the hidjra in Shawwal 1 or 2. Between 621 and 623 Asiha is said to have contracted a disease whereby she temporarily lost her hair. (Ref 1)

She could not have been more than 10 years when she went to live in Muhammad's house. The fact that she took her toys with her to her new home indicates that she was psychologically and socially still a child. And the fact that she was allowed to play with DOLLS indicates that she had NOT reached puberty by this time. ("The playing with the dolls and similar images was(is) forbidden, but it was allowed for Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty."Fateh-al-Bari page 143, Vol.13). Besides, there is also Aisha's own statement which implies that she had NOT reached puberty when she moved into Muhammad's house[Sahih Bukhari 7.163]. I am sure she would have been able to recount accurately as to when and where she got her first menses. Most girls do remember such events rather accurately. (Refs 2)

What is "sick" is that Muhammad had started to dream of a union with Aisha already when she was 4-5 years old: "You were shown to me twice (in my dream) before I married you...(and) I said (to myself), 'If this is from Allah, then it must happen." He was to use a similar tactic when he wanted to marry his step son's wife. A tactic which Aisha later came to understand as fraud, as in: "Aisha said: O Allah's Apostle! I do not see, but, that your Lord hurries in pleasing you." (Refs 2)

Muhammad wasted no time in realizing what he had been dreaming. Already when Aisha was 6 "The Prophet asked Abu Bakr for 'Aisha's hand in marriage. Abu Bakr said "But I am your brother." The Prophet said, "You are my brother in Allah's religion and His Book, but she (Aisha) is lawful for me to marry." Here it does not seem that Abu Bakr consented to the marriage wholeheartedly.

* "And if a woman is sexually mature I see nothing wrong with her marriage in general, with a man of any age... "- A muslim.

For those Muslims who approve of the above statement ( and hold similar views ): Would you let your daughters go through this ?
Pedophile ?

What are the essential features of pedophilia.?

Professors of psychiatry, Harold I.Kaplan MD and Benjamin J.Sadock MD. of New York University Medical School states the essential features to diagnose pedophilia are:

1.Identification with and narcissistic investment in immature sexual objects.

Muhammad's infatuation and relationship with Aisha fits this criterion. And Mohammad was vain too - he liked to use perfume and dye his hair (even as an old man).

2. Control, domination and seduction of children.

A slight recalcitrance on the part of his wives was met by intolerant threats like: "if he (Muhammad) divorce you, (Allah) will give him in your place wives better than you, submissive, faithful, obedient, penitent, adorers, fasters, widows and virgins." [K 66.5]

3. Sexual activity with children is preferential and occur repeatedly.

Aisha was ever present, right up to his last fatal breath and he preferred spending his nights with her. Aisha became Muhammad's favorites wife. And the sexuality in the relationship was predominant. [Sahih Bukhari 1.270,3:36,7:6,3:148,3:149,3:150,7:142,IbnSa'd 1pg165]
Is menses necessary indicator of sexual maturity ?

Sexual maturity is NOT PURELY RELATED TO MENSES as for some peculiar reasons many Muslims have tried to say.

In the first place having or not having menses is not the criterion for sexual maturity, and thus of pedophilic behaviour. We have cases here, of abducted girls, 12, 13, 14, well past their mens, and yet preferred by pedophiles as sexual objects.

Besides when Aisha was about 4-5 years old Muhammad started dreaming of a union with her [Sahih Bukhari 5:235]- I am sure Ayesha was not menstruating then . Or do Arab girls menstruate at the age of 4-5 ?

Post Re: The Golden Thread, Volume 2010 5.4
You know now that the Islamic Barbarians are now DEMANDING to build a mosque at ground zero in New York City.

Many of us believe 911 was a inside job. BUT the fact remains that America and Western Europe is UNDER ATTACK by these MONSTERS of the human race.

Now they are demanding a Mosque at Ground Zero. The same ground their Islamic Brothers soaked in tbe blood of 3800 innocent lives.

The Coming Caliphate A Mosque At Ground Zero?

http://beforeitsnews.com/story/75/103/T ... _Zero.html

Most Americans probably don’t know it, but a community board in Manhattan has approved the construction of an Islamic community center and mosque at Ground Zero. You might remember the place. It was the site of the World Trade Center before Muslim terrorists knocked it down on Sept. 11, 2001.

Perhaps the board members don’t remember the smoking ruins and WTC workers jumping to their deaths. Even if they did, those memories didn’t much matter. Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer explained the 29-1 decision: It will “sen[d] a clear message that our city is one that promotes diversity and tolerance.” The question, of course, is how much “tolerance” the mosque will promote.

Stella Paul, writing at The American Thinker, offers an answer, explaining the result when a similar center rose in Boston:

“Mayor Thomas Menino practically gave away city-owned land worth $2 million to the Islamic Society of Boston, whose founder Abdurrahman Alamoudi currently sweats out a 23-year prison term for terrorist crimes. Mayor Menino donated the public’s land … with the standard pleas for diversity, healing, peace, and frolicking unicorns.”

Of course, Menino didn’t investigate the Arab recipients of his largesse. They included a man the Anti-Defamation League called the “theologian of terror” and who is banned from the United States, as well as the chieftain of “an Islamic charity designated as terrorist by the U.S. government.” A third notable involved with the ISB is an “unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial.”

Thousands of Afghans Burn Effigy of Pope Benedict, Call for Killing of Christian Converts…

http://beforeitsnews.com/story/75/464/T ... erts.html#

(3 News New Zealand)- Over a thousand protesters turned out onto the streets of Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan, to demonstrate against foreign NGOs (non-governmental organisations) which were being investigated for spreading Christianity in the country.

This is the third mass protest in just over a week since Afghan authorities suspended two Christian aid groups, the US-based Church World Service and Norwegian Church Aid, on suspicion of proselytising in the strictly Islamic nation.

During their hour-long march, demonstrators shouted slogans such as “Death to America! Long live Islam!” and carried banners and placards protesting against the foreign presence in the country.

The protesters, who were mostly college students, also burned a stuffed figure in western dress, reportedly an effigy of the Pope.

Images 41376752 1Dae3F6367 OSheikh Al Obeikan, an adviser to the royal court and consultant to the Ministry of Justice, set off a firestorm of controversy recently when he said on TV that women who come into regular contact with men who aren't related to them ought to give them their breast milk so they will be considered relatives.

"The man should take the milk, but not directly from the breast of the woman," Al Obeikan said, according to Gulf News. "He should drink it and then becomes a relative of the family, a fact that allows him to come in contact with the women without breaking Islam's rules about mixing."

Obeikan said the fatwa applied to men who live in the same house or come into contact with women on a regular basis, except for drivers.

Al Obeikan, who made the statement after being asked on TV about a 2007 fatwa issued by an Egyptian scholar about adult breast-feeding, said that the breast milk ought to be pumped out and given to men in a glass.

But his remarks were followed by an announcement by another high-profile sheik, Abi Ishaq Al Huwaini, who said that men should suckle the breast milk directly from a woman's breast.
