It is one of the more popular "minced oaths" used in Texas. See below from Wikipedia (and thanks for the question - I learned something today.

ods bodikins - my Grandfather used to say that when he hit his thumb with a hammer. Never knew til now what it really meant. :roflmao See below.

Fair warning - this contains a few not so nice words!

Minced oath
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A minced oath (also pseudo-profanity) is an expression based on a profanity that has been altered to reduce the objectionable characteristics of the original expression, for example, darn or dang instead of damn, shoot instead of shit, heck instead of hell, or flipping, freaking, fricking, frakking, fecking or fragging instead of fucking. Many languages have these expressions. In the English language, nearly all profanities have minced variants.

Formation
The most common methods of forming a minced oath are rhyme and alliteration. Thus the word bloody can become blooming, bleeding, or ruddy. Alliterative minced oaths such as darn for damn allow a speaker to begin to say the prohibited word and then change to a more acceptable expression. In rhyming slang, rhyming euphemisms are often truncated so that the rhyme is eliminated: prick became Hampton Wick and then simply Hampton. Alliteration can be combined with metrical equivalence, as in "Judas Priest," substituted for blasphemous use of "Jesus Christ.

Minced oaths can also be formed by shortening: b for bloody or bitch, or f for fuck. Sometimes words borrowed from other languages become minced oaths; for example, poppycock comes from the Low Dutch pappe kak, meaning "soft dung". The minced oath blank is an ironic reference to the dashes that are sometimes used to replace profanities in print.[5] It goes back at least to 1854, when Cuthbert Bede wrote "I wouldn't give a blank for such a blank blank. I'm blank, if he doesn't look as if he'd swallowed a blank codfish." By the 1880s, it had given rise to the derived forms blanked and blankety. In the same way, bleep arose from the use of a tone to mask profanities on radio.

Adjectival probably first became current around 1910, though in 1851 Charles Dickens wrote:

Bark's parts of speech are of an awful sort—principally adjectives. I won't, says Bark, have no adjective police and adjective strangers in my adjective premises! I won't, by adjective and substantive! [...] Give me, says Bark, my adjective trousers!

History
The Cretan king Rhadamanthus is said to have forbidden his subjects to swear by the gods, suggesting that they swear instead by the ram, the goose or the plane tree. Socrates favored the "Rhadamanthine" oath "by the dog". Aristophanes mentions that people used to swear by birds instead of by the gods, adding that the soothsayer Lampon still swears by the goose "whenever he's going to cheat you".[8] Since no god was called upon, Lampon may have considered this oath safe to break.

The use of minced oaths in English dates back at least to the 14th century, when "gog" and "kokk", both euphemisms for God, were in use. Other early minced oaths include "Gis" or "Jis" for Jesus (1528).

Late Elizabethan drama contains a profusion of minced oaths, probably due to Puritan opposition to swearing. Seven new minced oaths are first recorded between 1598 and 1602, including 'sblood for By God's blood from Shakespeare, 'slight for God's light from Ben Jonson, and 'snails for By God's nails from the historian John Hayward. Swearing on stage was officially banned by the Act to Restraine Abuses of Players in 1606, and a general ban on swearing followed in 1623. In some cases the original meanings of these minced oaths were forgotten; 'struth (By God's truth) came to be spelled 'strewth and zounds changed pronunciation so that it no longer sounded like By God's wounds.[11] Other examples from this period include 'slid for "By God's eyelid" (1598) and 'sfoot for "By God's foot" (1602). Gadzooks for "By God's hooks" (the nails on Christ's cross) followed in the 1650s, egad for oh God in the late 17th century, and ods bodikins for "By God's little body" in 1709.

Acceptability
Although minced oaths are not as strong as the expressions from which they derive, some still find them offensive. One writer in 1550 considered "idle oaths" like "by cocke" (by God), "by the cross of the mouse foot", and "by Saint Chicken" to be "most abominable blasphemy". The minced oaths "'sblood" and "zounds" were omitted from the Folio edition of Shakespeare's play Othello, probably due to Puritan-influenced censorship. In 1941 a U.S. federal judge threatened a lawyer with contempt of court for using the word "darn". Zounds may sound amusing and archaic to the modern ear, yet as late as 1984 a writer recalled that "some years ago", after using it in print, he had received complaints that it was blasphemous because of its origin as "God's wounds" (He had written an article entitled "Zounds! Is Reagan mad" in the Herald-Journal for 12 June 1973, and also used "zounds" on 11 June 1970.)

Ricky Ricardo from I Love Lucy introduced to American audiences the minced oath, "¡Ay, caramba!" (pronounced [ˈai kaˈɾamba]) from the Spanish interjection ¡ay! (denoting surprise or pain) and caramba (euphemism for carajo/penis). This exclamation also appears in the Disney film The Three Caballeros, in which even the Spanish-speaking character states that he does not know what it means. "¡Ay, caramba!" is also used occasionally by Bart Simpson in The Simpsons. :roflmao

Literature and censorship

It is common to find minced oaths in literature. Writers sometimes face the problem of portraying characters who swear, and often include minced oaths instead of profanity in their writing so that they will not offend audiences or incur censorship. Somerset Maugham referred to this problem in his 1919 novel The Moon and Sixpence, where he admitted:

Strickland, according to Captain Nichols, did not use exactly the words I have given, but since this book is meant for family reading, I thought it better -- at the expense of truth -- to put into his mouth language familiar to the domestic circle.

In particular, authors of children's fiction sometimes put minced oaths into the mouths of characters who swear a lot, as a way of depicting a part of their behaviour that would be unconvincing not to represent, but also avoiding the use of swear words which would be considered unsuitable for children to read.

This explains me precisely::

You are best described as:

CONSISTENTLY TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF

Words that describe you:
•Uncompromising
•Frank
•Astute
•Critical
•Empirical
•Tough
•Discerning
•Sceptical
•Shrewd

A General Description of How You Interact with Others
When someone needs your help or wants you to do something you think before you act. See, at heart you believe deeply in personal freedom and individual responsibility. You think it is vital that people learn to take care of themselves so that they don't become dependent upon others. You believe that actions have consequences, and people need to accept the consequences of their actions if they are to learn from their mistakes and grow. You believe you wouldn't be doing anyone a favour if you lift someone out of trouble; they will never learn to lift themselves up if you keep rescuing them. And if you keep giving people a second, third or fourth chance, you have seen that people seldom develop the character they need to live decent and responsible lives.

You believe that compassion has a role to play in your life, in a structure of values that is encourages people to take care of themselves. Uncritical Tender-heartedness does as much harm as good. You much prefer if people understand, in factual, empirical terms, how they got into trouble, and how they can lift themselves out of the mess they are in. In an emergency, of course, you're there to offer help and if someone has helped you out in the past there is no question about your loyalty. But whenever it is realistic, you are convinced people should take care of themselves.

Along with this you devote adequate time to taking care of your own needs and wants, in part because it makes you happy with your life and in part because that's what you truly believe every person should do. You cherish personal independence for yourself and others. Fostering such independence is the best way you find there is to love and care for others.

Negative Reactions Others May Have Toward You
Your emphasis on personal independence and personal responsibility may seem to lack in compassion to some people. Undoubtedly you have encountered people who feel this way toward you. And some may find you to be rather selfish. You do stay focused on your own life, take responsibility for your own problems, and are not always moved by situations in which some people think some action is required. That is part of you and your basic beliefs about life. And some people will inevitably want you to be different, but that is simply not who you are.

Positive Responses Others May Have Toward You
You're true to your beliefs and you hold yourself to the same expectations as you do with others. You are critical and tough with yourself, which gives you a consistency when you are critical and tough with others. And even when others don't agree with you, people are likely to admire your frankness. You say what you believe, even if what you believe runs counter to the motives and beliefs of others.

And you keep reminding people of two things that few people can argue with, even if they don't believe in them with your single-mindedness. Personal independence and personal responsibility matter to most people, and even the very compassionate admit that sometimes their hearts get in the way of what their heads know, which is to say that people should take care of themselves whenever they are able to do so. You remind people of this, in the honest way you live your own life and in the ways in which you respond, and don't respond, to other people

On the Openness Dimension you are:

CONTENT

Words that describe you:
•Sensible
•Realistic
•Conventional
•Sincere
•Simple
•Firm
•Earnest

A General Description of How You Approach New Information and Experiences
You find that you are usually more comfortable with ideas and beliefs that you have held for a long time. These values, which for you are tried-and-true, provide you with practical solutions to life's problems, and with straightforward ways of engaging in intellectual discussions and debates. You've tested these positions over time, you know them well, they work for you, and you trust them. You like the way these solutions provide consistency and value to your life.

You've always been teachable as well. Whether in textbooks or classrooms, or through a wide variety of personal and interpersonal experiences, you've explored and tested the values and ideas you hold dear. Along the way you've grown to recognise ideas and beliefs that fit with your life. When this happens, you open yourself to learning what it is that this can teach you. Most of the time evaluating new information strengthens what you know and trust; the "next new thing" usually proves too shallow or too impractical to dislodge you from what has served you so well.

Negative Reactions Others May Have Toward Your Style of Thinking
Not everyone will be thrilled by your commitment to the tried-and-true, and your practical solutions to problems of all sorts. Some people are in flight most of the time, leaving behind where they've come from and peering into whatever brand-new thought or experience they come across. They live for these flights of fancy. So they may find your commitment to the tried-and-true very trying and even boring. So be it; you won't be a companion on their journey. And that is fine with you. You will likely continue on being quite satisfied with your approach to important beliefs and ideas.

Positive Responses Others May Have Toward You
Despite some negative reactions toward your style of thinking, many others will appreciate in you the combination of a steadiness of mind and openness to occasional change. They will find your practical solutions clear and accessible in an intellectual environment that is too often fuzzy and lacking clear values. They will come to trust you as someone who is not swayed by every new intellectual wind that blows, nor tantalized by some imaginative belief or value that seems attractive at first but usually proves in the long run to be unreliable as a guide in life. In a complicated and fractious intellectual climate they will find your clear thinking, your practical ideas and your down-to-earth solutions to problems to be a great relief.

On Emotional Stability you are:

VERY STEADY

Words that describe you:
•Calm
•Stable
•Composed
•Unflappable
•Confident
•Secure
•Collected
•Controlled
•Poised

A General Description of Your Reactivity
Everyone, including you, runs into those moments when emotions rise up and you get caught off guard and have to deal with someone whose feelings are out of control. Life just comes at us like this. When you face such moments you are steady, composed, and as solid as a rock. While others might be swept up in the emotions of the moment, you are able to remain calm and collected. When others cannot think straight you remain unflappable and clear-headed. A fundamental truth about you when it comes to your emotional world is that you are very confident and very secure.

You may be as solid as a rock, but you are not as cold as stone. When life is calm and you are safe, you get in touch with your emotions. You laugh with your friends and share tender moments with those you're close to. You might tear up watching a movie or some tragic story on the evening news. And you're no stranger to fear, when the future is threatening or some danger sneaks into your thoughts at night, you feel the fear in the pit of your stomach. But you know how to get through these moments. You marshal your very competent brain, get your thoughts up on top of your feelings, and think of a way to cope. Before long you're calm and stable again.

Negative Reactions Others May Have Toward You
Some of your friends might find you way too controlled in these emotional moments. "What is it with you? Don't you feel anything at all?" They're falling apart, you're as steady as a rock, and they don't trust you to be real. As far as they're concerned, you just don't care enough, either about your own emotional world or about the pain or pleasure they're so caught up in.

So you're not the person they turn to when feelings are deep and they need to surround themselves with people they believe will understand the turmoil they're in. They won't think of you as such a person, so they won't let you in on their emotional moments.

Positive Responses Others May Have Toward You
But others will see you as just the person they need in such tumultuous times. They need a steady companion when their own insides are roiling; they need your calm and confident friendship when their feelings are running out of control. They need your help to talk and think their way through their turmoil.

Also, people who are as calm and secure as you and who, like you, are emotionally composed most of the time, will find you a friend they are comfortable with. They know that when things get emotionally nutty and it's hard to find solid ground to stand on, you will be what you always are: steady, calm and unflappable, just the stable person they need when the emotional world is spinning.

Your approach toward your obligations is:

FLEXIBLE

Words that describe you:
•Spontaneous
•Intuitive
•Perceptive
•Natural
•Somewhat Disorganized
•Unpredictable At Times

A General Description of How You Interact with Others
When there's a job to be done, like most people you want to know what the goal is and when it's to be completed. For you, that's a start. Next you want to know what the plan is to get to the goal. So you lay out a plan, or at least the major points of a plan: "Organize the kitchen sometime this spring" or "Get the project at work done as soon as possible." You don't need an in-depth specification of every little detail; in fact you prefer not to work that way. You lay out your goals, develop a general plan, and then you get things done.

You believe in intuition as well as organization. As such, you trust impulses as much as strategies and you value spontaneity as much as you do efficiency. In a word, you like to keep it flexible. When you set out to accomplish a task, you prefer to have some room to maneuver. Like an artist, you find that the best way to reach a goal is not always in a straight line. Some of the most productive times for you are the unplanned moments of inspiration and creativity that just come to you. While you do keep to a general plan, those times of pure vision and originality are what really drive you.

Some of the people who rely completely on an organized approach to getting things done may be surprised at your efficiency. But there is a definite method to your approach. With a creative flair that others may not have anticipated, the original plan gets met and there are often a few extra accomplishments along the way. Your comfort zone starts with a task and a plan but it also requires the freedom to be able to go with your instincts and impulses so that you can not just accomplish the task, you also have the option to explore something brand new along the way.

Negative Reactions Others May Have Toward You
People may have problems with your style for two reasons. First, you don't always follow the rules or go along with detailed plans, whether at work or at home. Those who need the details to stay on task just don't quite understand how you are going to get it all done. Second, while you get things done - the way you veer off course at times and use your creativity may leave others wondering what went on. Some people find all this creativity and thinking "out-of-the-box" at odds with their desire to follow a clear course. And this causes not only some confusion it may also spark some anger toward you at times. Even you would likely admit that living and working with you takes someone who is able to let you do your thing at times. If someone is really tied to a rigid approach to how things should get done, there is clearly the potential for some conflict with you.

Every workplace and home does need a modicum of reliability and a decent amount or order and organization if it is to accommodate the mix of people who work or live there. That leads to a serious question for you: Are there times when your creative, though at times unpredictable, style keeps others off balance? Are there some plans that should be sacred, some space always well organized, some charts left as designed? Are there are some things you could change that would allow those who live and work with you to feel more in control; changes that wouldn't impinge on your creative processes? If others are finding your style to be difficult to deal with you may want to consider how you can all work together most efficiently.

Positive Responses Others May Have Toward You
The truth is that your work style gets things done, often with more beauty, fun, creativity and imagination than others could ever manage. But your style is very unique to you. Flexibility is essential to your style. With your creativity and flexibility the path you take to any goal can make everyone's accomplishments more inventive and enjoyable. Bringing some extra enjoyment to people's work can be a real asset; one you may want to use more consciously.

Deep down inside there's also another truth you should consider. A lot of people wish they had some of whatever it is that you've got. They get so bogged down reading the committee notes or checking the project calendar that they seldom just cut loose and let their impulses run. They neglect their intuition to the point that it barely whispers - that is, until you come along with yours shouting out loud and remind everyone in the room that there's something to listen to besides the original plan and the orderly, organized path laid out to get there. So not only do you enhance the accomplishments of the group, you also enhance the lives of each member willing to find in themselves the spontaneity that is your trademark personal characteristic.

When it comes to Extraversion you are:

VERY RESERVED

Words that describe you:
•Quiet
•Reserved
•Deliberate
•Solitary
•Cautious
•Guarded
•Purposeful
•Meditative

A General Description of How You Interact with Others
You are quiet and reserved to the extent that others might think of you as a solitary person. They may be right in some ways - there are plenty of times when you prefer your own company to most social gatherings. You'd rather be alone with a good book and an evening of leisure than at a party or a committee meeting or in the crowds at the mall.

Others seem to enjoy the free flow of spontaneous conversations and group discussion more than do you. You like to think things through for yourself then offer up your opinions in measured and deliberate ways. And even when you are in conversations with others, you are cautious and guarded with others. You don't have a lot of interest in participating in larger groups like parties, committees and crowds, and you don't like the spotlight. You might even dread mandatory social events, such as office gatherings at holidays. You speak up when you have something to contribute to the conversation but you don't speak just to hear yourself talking. In most social circumstances you meet your obligations and then you look forward to getting back to your routine; where you find your deepest satisfaction.

Your social circle is probably not very large - you may have several close friends. You probably enjoy quieter social activities, maybe sharing meals or small gatherings with them. And even with your friends you may he somewhat guarded; you open up, but slowly, and share yourself, but in a slow and careful way. You want and need to be close to these people, but you take your time; you share yourself with them albeit cautiously at first.

Negative Reactions Others May Have Toward You
You may run into some social problems with certain people. They may see your deliberate style as aloof. Because these people are more gregarious, they may want and expect you to participate in social situations that you do not really enjoy. Their frustration with you may grow into irritation, as if your distance and guardedness is about them, when you know well that's it's not about them, it's just who you are. Since they work or live with you, they may know that you are smarter and deeper and more interesting than you show yourself to be. They may want to know more of you, and try to communicate with you, but are frustrated by the wall you live behind. But that's where you're comfortable, so most of the time both you and they will have to live with their frustrations.

Positive Responses Others May Have Toward You
As people who get close to you become accustomed to you and your reserved ways, they likely find you a pleasure to be with. You may not talk much, but you could be witty, a very good listener and a great friend. So long as they can allow you your cautious style, they could open up to you and find you to be someone they can trust as a thoughtful, steady friend. Also, as they learn that your aloofness hides a thoughtful and lively mind and a wealth of experience, they may ask you personal questions about life? of both theirs and yours. At first, of course, this may be uncomfortable for you, and it may never become one of your favorite experiences. But with a few friends that you learn to trust, who learn to trust and care for you, you may come to engage in more lively and animated conversations. In these situations with these certain people, both you and they will learn to be at ease with the fact that you are a very quiet and reserved person.

From Exopolitics:

Statement on Navy Background of Lt Commander Richard Theilmann – Original Source of UN UFO disclosure

What follows is a summary of handwritten notes taken on Oct 8, 2008 when I personally met with and interviewed Richard Theilmann at a waterfront bar/restaurant in New York City over a period of 4.5 hours. In addition to answering questions, he gave me a thick photo/military album with several hundred items to examine which he explained at length when asked. Others present at the meeting were Clay and Shawn Pickering (organizers of the meeting), and Bob Vanderclock (not for the entire meeting time). Theilmann wore a blue Navy Uniform with military decorations and insignia including name and rank as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy. Theilmann spent most of the time discussing a series of UN meetings discussing the UFO issue, direct encounters with extraterrestrials, and a covert assignment where he traveled on an extraterrestrial vehicle. The material he discussed and/or showed me was used for writing an article published on October 12, 2008. http://exopolitics.org/Exo-Comment-80.htm . The following may be helpful for those investigating or interested in Richard Theilmann’s Navy background, service medals and rank of Lt Commander. This has become an issue of considerable concern after his public outing on May 20, 2010, and failure to find public records to confirm his Navy credentials and background...

Bio
Robert Morning Sky travels almost constantly, mesmerizing audiences large and small around the world. He demonstrates traditional native American dances, then tells his story in living rooms, theatres, in school auditoriums, on radio and TV shows and in personal interviews -- anywhere people will listen to him. He has quickly become a favorite speaker at expos and UFO conventions. His words resonate with truth. People receive answers to far more questions than they could ever think to ask, and they come back to hear him again and again. morning sky has been subjected to several burglaries at his office with confidential files and computer equipment stolen. His travel trailer was vandalized. His life has been threatened. He has suffered great losses, but he made a promise to his grandfather, and that promise will not be broken, no matter the cost. In his own words: "My name is Robert Morning Sky. I am a nobody, I am no one special. I am, however, a dancer who has had the extraordinary privilege of performing an honoring dance for the ‘ancient ones’ of the world at literally dozens of sacred sites. To perform these honorings in the right way, I have studied the oldest scriptures and words of the ‘ancient ones’. To distinguish the miraculous from the natural phenomena of the world, I have had to study different science disciplines, the way the human mind works, and the many kinds of shamanism and magic of the ancient world. What I have found is astonishing. The future of our world is in the hands of our young ‘seekers’. In the hopes that I can help today’s young ‘seekers’ join hands with the ‘ancient ones’, I share my journeys with you. “the truth is hidden behind the ‘reality’ used to control the masses...” “There were many reasons that led to my eventual decision to withdraw from the speaker’s circuit as soon as my one-year commitment to my grandfather was complete. When the year was over, I began my journeys to visit ancient sacred sites and to pay my respects to the ‘ancient ones’. I also began to search out those individuals, both civilized and primitive, who could help me in my search for answers to the mysteries of the world. Truly, in many cases, I went into the ‘shadows’: hidden canyons, hidden ruins, hidden corridors in civilized institutions and hidden back rooms for conversations with individuals who did not want their identities revealed.”

Hi, UJ!

You asked:

Dadmiral only had one child and that was "merged" with Dan during an abduction and died? The dadmiral we knew didn't have any grand children?

So strange. Did the black cat just walk by twice?

What planet am I on?

According to the Wikipedia entry for Adm. John Michael (hence "John and/or Mike") McConnell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Michael_McConnell

Also Shawnna, I confess to reading your blog. -- The blurb on your son's FB page is missing a line... It's my sig file for all my outgoing mail:

Watch your 'Thoughts,' they become words.
Watch your 'Words,' they become actions.
Watch your 'Actions,' they become habits.
Watch your 'Habits,

Watch your 'Character,' for it becomes your Destiny.

And tell your son the Video about Rick is remarkable, very moving. I was very inspired to be more selfless!

Post Dadmiral Makes An Impression
Dadmiral Makes An Impression - The Ultimate Paradox Pt I

Apologies for the delay, it's been a helluva week and I've but a short time for the moment to share some of my ruminations about Dadmiral's articulate and even passionate defense of the position that the threat of cyber war was real, imminent and even ongoing. If I didn't know more than what the average member of that audience knew, I too would've been convinced by his argument. He's emminently logical and even has that 'grandfatherly' appeal, with a natural warmth that even his adopted progeny Dan Burisch didn't seem to muster very well once into his 'official Disclosure'. I could even see flashes of Danny boy in his co-counsel Jonathan. It's very much the same personality that 'stepped' on emails to me, as a way to communicate, with his famous "J" under "From" hiding the real one. He told me he never killed anyone or had anyone killed, his specialty was "signals intelligence". That's his for-profit business. He's a sincere man, and in some ways I think I have him to thank for those instances where a Big Dick order would've resulted in a far different outcome than we have today. I explained early on that any successful Disclosure would have to 'forgive' them, but only when the full truth was on the table.

John (who adopted 'Mike' when entering the public eye in early 2007, since it would separate him from references to John McConnell - which included most of the ones we had spread all over just chatting about the DB 'saga'), a/k/a Daddy-O, Dadmiral, JMC, "J", MJ-1, J-1, and 'Mike', unfortunately for the average viewer of that presentation covered up by omission the pending poleshift, which would certainly have qualified his partner Jonathan's exception as to an 'epic event'. Of course, since it cannot be proved yet whether he has pre-knowledge of the event, he would only be held liable in the event that a poleshift does take place. However, by that time it will be impossible to bring anyone out to account, extracting them from their hidey-holes. Unless of course you know where their hidey-holes are! In which case they may see the better part of valor and pro-actively go along with a tribunal the likes of which might take its lead from this recent debate on Intelligence Squared. This is very possible, and I hope a plausible one for them. I'm some-what embarrassed I wasn't aware of this appearance by him, from the looks of it he did a better job (except for the Cover-up of course) than Dan might have! And now with Dan officially 'retired' again, this time from SNEDs/ETM/Scion/Sion, do we buy that with a sigh of relief that it's finally been put to rest, or will he come reluctantly roaring out of retirement within months, feeding the hungry and homeless in the wake of the next earthquake?

Somehow I don't think so, but I do think Dadmiral will be doing more of these venues, like Big Dick was doing all those events where he would lambast BarackO for "not keeping us safe". I think these people have really deluded themselves; it's quite obvious that the transactions between the world's largest banks - headquartered in Manhattan - are so sensitive as to be almost sacred, but answer me this: why can't banking and defense (in short, money and government) use the new internet www2? Or what about the https: instead of the http: half of cyberspace? Who made up those prefixes to every internet address? That way, if they feel better having 'control' of the internet - like Dadmiral proposes to do - they can do that in their half of the sandbox (or their separate sandbox). Am I missing something here, or is that a valid point? To me the most glaring danger from what he proposes comes just as we were debating the 'internet kill switch', which may have passed the Senate but I haven't had time to check yet. If that happens, Obama (and any future potential president, including a repeat of the Dubya nightmare) would have the power and be encouraged to use it to shut down the voices of the public, communicating to each other. Traitor Joe should be shot on sight (metaphorically speaking, of course) for having the temerity to introduce such a piece of fear provocation. In my humble but defiant opinion I think it's due to their insecurity about how the public is going to react when 'IT' shows up in the sky for every naked eye. And it's true. People are going to read all about it, unless of course a stooge for the elite is there to do their bidding and shut down this dangerous internet. THAT to me was worth the public appearance by the former MJ-1, why he would even risk putting his own public face on these pleas for more 'authority' to control the internet. Being that he was a success in that debate, I don't see why we can't expect more from him sooner than later. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it was his card that was played when those 10 colorful Russian characters 'hiding in plain sight' in the US and abroad were 'captured'. That Anna Chapman, I have to say, is a hottie; this looks like an even better soap opera for the clueless half of the population, though ultimately its only importance will be to strengthen the hand of those in the government that press for more, not less, control.

Part of the concept of the Ultimate Paradox that was revealed to me in an extraordinary episode in my life in early September, 1979, was that this reality, at least here on this Earth, is exquisitely balanced between entropy and activity, within/without, good/evil, smart/stupid, morning birds/night owls, male/female, comic/tragic. Neither one can ever truly triumph here. Good will not ultimately overcome evil, it'll simply make it more understandable and articulated. But we always have to try. The paradox is that we can never succeed. Neither a right-wing nor a left-wing government will solve the people's problems at once and permanently. Dadmiral sincerely believes he means the best for the world, safeguarding our civil liberties (if you give yourself the authority to peek into all our secrets, isn't that by definition a violation?) not to mention the world's financial transactions while at the same time he's expecting to wield the power to shut down, turn off, any section or party to the internet? Yes, if you seriously consider that this man can collect data from any and every individual, corporation, or agency at will. It's a shame this debate didn't include the debate on the warrantless wiretapping, which Mark was clearly energized for.

mjc, I don't see much daylight between your analysis and my own, I do think that we won't know the full scope of his duplicity for a few months yet. In the meantime, he does seem to be coming along. I think there's actually hope.

Next, about the sources for my belief in the scenario also put forward by one Nancy Lieder, oddly enough.

Well, IMHO, he is being pushed into the public eye--a very dangerous place--to be used as a fall guy. I think TPTB think he is weak because they detect the same possible "caring for humanity" that you do and he will be set up for a Big Fall.

Shawnna, one of the answers is in Don's post above, second paragraph:

Quote:
John (who adopted 'Mike' when entering the public eye in early 2007, since it would separate him from references to John McConnell - which included most of the ones we had spread all over just chatting about the DB 'saga'), a/k/a Daddy-O, Dadmiral, JMC, "J", MJ-1, J-1, and 'Mike', unfortunately for the average viewer of that presentation covered up by omission the pending poleshift, which would certainly have qualified his partner Jonathan's exception as to an 'epic event'.

Uncle John here: I see the reasoning in changing his name so not to be confused with the Senator.

As mj-1, dadmiral was one of the most powerful and important persons in the world. I find it puzzling that someone of this statue would change their name in deference to a Senator. He was 64 years old in 2007.

The son that was merged with dan was named michael. It was stated that michael died of cancer and all records of his existence were wiped out.

Supposedly, dadmiral posted on the beginning of the golden thread. He even assured us that no harm would come to us when I posted my apprehension of interacting with a black ops agent.

I'm beginning to suspect that dadmiral was not mj-1 and this was just part of a made up disinfo story.

I don't think it's possible to keep up with the Golden Thread all the time. If I spend longer than 2 days away, I confess to skimming to catch up. I have missed many a post, including the recent one where Shady evidently snapped at me...LOL, I read a comment about what he had said, but I thankfully missed it!!

It isn't possible - to be honest, I find it very confusing to try and follow.

:shakehead

I think Shady is wound pretty tight right now so it's understandable he would be snippy sometimes.

(((hugs))) to Shady :-)

Fw: Apocalypse... but not quite now

It was quite a surprise to receive the email below with this type of information coming from an otherwise mainstream source - I think its as much about promoting certain jobs as anything else.... anyway, I've added a small comment to the main article.

Possibly I've not said enough - such as the need to avoid getting caught in the solar radiation, as I think that it will damage the ability of the red blood cells to carry oxygen around the body, possibly with fatal results (I'm not sure).

Apocalypse... but not quite now
A ‘Knowing’ style apocalypse is in order in 2013, predict NASA scientists.

Although this does not mean that our world will overheat into a massive ball of molten rock, it will play havoc with the Earth’s electromagnetism.
Communication and satellite systems, air travel and everything else electronic will just stop working. I do agree that we are way too reliant on technology, but that doesn't mean that I want to do without electric showers, trains or microwave popcorn.

What’s being done to predict and, hopefully, avert disaster? Click here to find out!

It seems that my comment is not yet 'live' - below is what I said.

Posted on July 3, 2010 by Simon Smiler

Alarming this may sound, there are many things we can all do to prepare for this, thereby ensuring we survive and thrive with the least possible inconvenience…

In case electromagnetism destroys personal data, family photographs, videos, etc stored on computer hard drivers we should make ‘back up’ copies on DVD’s. Another way to protect against stray electromagnetic fields is to store sensitive electronic devices in faraday cages – old microwave ovens could be of use here, as these are designed to keep the short wave radiation which ‘cooks’ the food in – so conversely should work the other way around and keep similar radiation out – thereby helping to protect whatever is inside them. But remember to keep the door closed at all times during such solar storms! If you cant get your laptop in, you can at least use it to protect an USB external hard drive, iPod, mobile phone, etc.

Also, people should assume that if the power supply goes down there will be disruption to supplies of food, water and essential medicines, and store at least a month’s worth of such at home. Tinned foods which do not need cooking. Plastic cutlery etc too. Afterwards / if nothing too serious happens you can always eat the foods and use the cutlery whilst out camping – so its not as if the value of the products will be wasted.

Hi, Simon -

Well, this most interesting pitch by a jobs board or employment agency or whatever is notable at any rate for invoking the otherwise "obscure" meme of Apocalypse 2012 - infrastructure collapse - as a headline. It assumes a great deal about the interests and awareness level of IT (Information Technology) folk. IT people are fairly "leading edge" savvy.

That, in itself, says very clearly to me that this thing has now escaped the barn of Outer Realm Flaky Weirdness and is poised to enter the larger mainstream consciousness via these leading edge trend-thinkers or fashionistas who eventually influence what ordinary people are talking or thinking about in the media.

I don't see this development as part of any deliberate plan or disclosure plot, but merely the natural evolution of an idea whose time has come. A concept will emerge into the general consciousness via one route or another, following its own natural path of least resistance, and this kind of "Just joking. Not." approach suggests to me that there's a lot more acceptance and awareness of the concept of - let me call it "infrastructure collapse from whatever cause" - out there than might otherwise be acknowledged.

My own plastic crystal ball :roflmao foretells that the actual day of 21-12-2012 at 11:11 UTC will be the scene of the greatest world media pandemonium and hype since media was invented...... My personal bet? The sun will actually rise on December 22, and everyone will sulk back home thinking they've been fooled.

But the clock will continue ticking. PX won't vanish just because we'd all like it to....

Interesting. :hmm :hmm

Oh yeah, Selene! :clap

"This is Anderson Cooper...

I can just see it now! We think hurricanes and oil spills are hyped? :roll

In the words of Al Jolsen "You ain't seen nothin' yet" strikes a chord.

My DH, East Texas, has already put aside a really nice sec Dom Perignon. He told me the other night "If the world ends on 12-21-2012 - I'm gonna be sittin' in my hot tub, sippin' Dom with my woman, and listening to Jimmy Buffet."

Selene, am I understanding you correctly that you believe PX exists, and that it will eventually enter our reality but not until 2013 or later?

Most other believers in PX seem to be expecting it will cause chaos here before 2012, and most likely in 2011.
