The Daily Telegraph, the “other mainstream paper of record” in the U.K., has published an expert analysis of a recent crop circle as depicting “the end of the world” on Dec. 21, 2012 “as predicted by the Mayan calendar”. The U.K. Telegraph article reprinted the photograph of a 400-foot crop circle reported June 12, 2009, with a notation that “Phoenix crop circle may predict end of the world. Crop circle experts believe the latest pattern to be discovered, a phoenix rising from the flames in Wiltshire, may give a warning about the end of the world. The 400-foot design was discovered in a barley field in Yatesbury near Devizes and depicts the mythical phoenix reborn as it rises from the ashes. Investigators claim more formations are referencing the possibility of a cataclysmic event occurring on December 21, 2012, which coincides with the end of the ancient Mayan calendar.”

Other crop circle commentators are suggesting that a giant jellyfish-like crop circle sighted May 29, 2009 near Wayland Smithy, U.K. (see photos below) may be a warning of coming solar flares, stating “Earth’s magnetosphere changes into the shape of a “jellyfish” whenever it is impacted by a severe solar storm. Whenever a severe solar storm impacts directly on Earth, then our planetary magnetic field or “magnetosphere” changes into the general shape of a “jellyfish.”

Solar flares during the solar maximum 2012-13 causing up to $2 trillion (or more) in damage in the U.S. with millions of potential deaths have been warned of in a January 2009 report by the National Academy of Sciences funded by NASA.

Yet, according to Mayan calendar expert Dr. Carl Johan Calleman, an accurate interpretation of the Mayan Calendar has it end on Oct. 28, 2011. Moreover, the end of the Mayan calendar does not presage “Armageddon,” global war, and physical destruction. Rather, the Mayan calendar, according to Dr. Calleman’s research, is a mind map by which to measure the entry of a period of universal consciousness for humanity.

One open question is why The Daily Telegraph, owned by the Barclay Brothers (who also own the Chicago Sun-Times, the Jerusalem Post, and conservative magazines such as The Spectator) is printing misleading opinion that specific crop circles point to potential cataclysms allegedly predicted by the Mayan calendar, and promoting a distorted Armageddon view of the Mayan calendar itself.

Solar flares & a deep solar minimum

On May 29, 2009, NASA reported that “an international panel of experts led by NOAA and sponsored by NASA has released a new prediction for the next solar cycle. Solar Cycle 24 will peak, they say, in May 2013 with a below-average number of sunspots.

‘If our prediction is correct, Solar Cycle 24 will have a peak sunspot number of 90, the lowest of any cycle since 1928 when Solar Cycle 16 peaked at 78,’ says panel chairman Doug Biesecker of the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center.

In the same report, NASA also noted that, “It is tempting to describe such a cycle as ‘weak’ or ‘mild,’ but that could give the wrong impression.

"’Even a below-average cycle is capable of producing severe space weather,’ points out Biesecker. ‘The great geomagnetic storm of 1859, for instance, occurred during a solar cycle of about the same size we’re predicting for 2013.’ [Emphasis added]

“The 1859 storm--known as the "Carrington Event" after astronomer Richard Carrington who witnessed the instigating solar flare--electrified transmission cables, set fires in telegraph offices, and produced Northern Lights so bright that people could read newspapers by their red and green glow. A recent report by the National Academy of Sciences found that if a similar storm occurred today, it could cause $1 to 2 trillion in damages to society's high-tech infrastructure and require four to ten years for complete recovery. For comparison, Hurricane Katrina caused ‘only’ $80 to 125 billion in damage.”

Interpretation of crop circles

The June 15, 2009 crop circle article in the U.K. Telegraph referred to the May 29, 2009 Wayland Smithy crop circle, stating “Recent crop circles have included giant jelly-fish and one image discovered in Wiltshire in June which experts dubbed the most 'mind boggling' they had ever come across. The formation, measuring 150ft in diameter, is apparently a coded image representing the first 10 digits, 3.141592654, of pi.”

The science of crop circle interpretations is not consistent. One expert commentary source on the June 12, 2009 Wilbury crop circle makes no reference to the “end of the world” or the “phoenix rising from the ashes.” Instead the source states, “There are possibly some similarities with the Zoroastrian bird symbol to be found in this crop formation. Zoroastrianism is the oldest of the revealed world-religions, and it has probably had more influence on mankind, directly and indirectly, than any other single faith. There are also important elections going on in Iran today. Persia being the geographic area where this belief system was formed.”

The U.K. Telegraph article quotes crop circle enthusiast Karen Alexander, from Gosport, Hants, who states “The phoenix is a mythical creature which symbolizes rebirth and a new era in many cultures across the world. Within the crop circle community many believe the designs are constantly referring to December 21 and its aftermath. This could be interpreted as the human race or earth rising again after a monumental event. The patterns are becoming more intricate with every find and it is exciting to think how they are going to evolve by the time we get to 2012."

The origin of crop circles

There are several hypotheses regarding the origin of crop circles and there may be different sources for different crop circles. There is some research suggesting that some crop circles are hoaxes perpetrated by individuals or groups, and others are disinformation psyops perpetrated by military-intelligence agencies. Other researchers claim that some portion of the crop circles made by hyperdimensional sources are in fact made by 4th dimension reptilian civilizations as part of an elaborate psyops on humanity. Finally, “genuine” upper-dimensional ethical circle makers make some portion of crop circles. In short, there is an information war going on in the crop circle field.

Time acceleration and catastrophobia

In her book "The Mayan Code", author and researcher Barbara Hand Clow defines “catastrophobia” as an embedded human memory of a solar system catastrophe which occurred in 9500 B.C. when a fragment of the Vela supernova entered the solar system destroying the surface ecology of Mars, and as well as destroying the great maritime civilization of Earth. The human predisposition to interpret the end of the Mayan calendar in 2011 or 2012 as signifying great Earth catastrophe, or the interpretation of the June 15, 2009 Wilshire crop circle as signifying a rebirth after a cataclysmic event as examples of “catastrophobia” or collective memory of this past trauma.

Thus catastrophobis may be the source of projecting cataclysmic outcomes to end times prophecies, such as the end of the Mayan Calendar.

Cui bono?

Cui bono? Who benefits by the U.K. Telegraph’s publication of opinion that the Mayan calendar’s end signifies Armageddon, or global destructive war?

Dr. Wernher von Braun, a NASA whistleblower, through his protégé, Dr. Carol Rosin, a Disclosure Project witness, may have given one significant clue. Dr. Rosin has said that von Braun told her that, following the collapse of Communism in the early 1990s, the permanent war economy would seek to perpetuate global war through 3 additional wars: a global War on Terror, a “war against the asteroids”, and the final card, a faux “war” against the “evil extraterrestrials,” a psyops actually controlled by the permanent war economy on Earth.

The global war on terror is playing itself out triggered by the false flag operation of September 11, 2001, orchestrated by then President George W. Bush; Vice President Richard B. Cheney; and Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, using advanced space-based an weapon of mass-destruction – HAARP – for the molecular dissociation of the World Trade Center. This global War on Terror psyops continues in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and in the domestic police state measures in most nations around the world.

The war against the asteroids

There are signs that the “war against the asteroids” has now begun. As of June 10, 2009, Space.com reports, “A recent U.S. military policy decision now explicitly states that observations by hush-hush government spacecraft of incoming bolides and fireballs are classified secret and are not to be released, SPACE.com has learned.”

This directive in U.S. military policy appears designed to create the fear necessary for the weaponry and measures to win “the war against the asteroids” just as Dr. Wernher von Braun predicted?

Internet and talk show rumors fueling the “war” against the asteroids now speak of “wars in space” and destructive objects heading to Earth.

So the cui bono of the U.K. Telegraph article are none other that the usual suspects the permanent war economy, in all of its manifestations – an international war crimes racketeering organization.

Bill banning forced identity-chip implants clears House

Invasion of privacy is an issue that really gets under State Rep. Babette Josephs' skin.

That's why the Philadelphia Democrat introduced a bill, passed unanimously last week by the House, that would ban the forced implantation of computer chips in humans.

Conjuring Orwellian images, Josephs worries the identification devices - the size of a grain of rice - could lead to a real-life Big Brother nightmare.

"I'm doing, I think, what the legislature does too little of," she said. "This is a problem on the horizon, and I want to address it before it becomes a societal disgrace."

Though the technology hasn't debuted in Pennsylvania, VeriChip, a company in Florida, received federal Food and Drug Administration clearance in 2004 to market the implanted microchips, which were tested on 200 Alzheimer's patients.

Injected into the triceps, the chips have unique 16-digit codes and GPS capabilities that allow nursing homes to find wandering patients.

"I think it's really horrible that we want to chip them like barcoded packages of meat," said Kim Sultzbaugh, a research specialist who helped Josephs write the bill.

California, North Dakota, and Wisconsin have enacted laws similar to the ban Josephs is proposing.

The technology can also be used for security, as in a widely reported case in Mexico. There, the implants were required for some government employees to enter restricted buildings.

A bar in Scotland even offers to implant patrons with chips that allow them to purchase pints without a credit card, according to news accounts.

Despite the technology's potential usefulness, Sultzbaugh said, some Christian groups liken the identification devices to the "mark of the beast," a Satanic mark described in the Book of Revelation and represented by the number 666.

Josephs said electronic ankle bracelets could keep track of someone in a less-invasive manner.

But for some "murderers, killers, and rapists," ankle bracelets won't do the trick, said State Rep. Dan Moul (R., Adams).

Moul amended Josephs' bill to allow chips to be implanted by court order. The bill also would allow the chips to be implanted in Guantanamo Bay detainees who end up in Pennsylvania.

"Terrorists could take that ankle bracelet off with a saw and strap it to a dog and let them run around," Moul said. "We need to know if these people are returning to the war to fight against America."

Josephs called Moul's changes "inflammatory" and "sensational" and hopes the Senate throws them out when it considers the measure.

Erik Arneson, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R., Delaware), said the bill was not scheduled for immediate action.

A rare astronomical event, a series of triple eclipses starting from July this year will occur across the world including Pakistan.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) calculations, a penumbral lunar and a total solar eclipse will occur in the month of July and another lunar eclipse will also be witnessed in August.

However, the penumbral eclipse of the moon is expected to occur on July 07 (Tuesday) will not be visible in the country.

The eclipse will begin at 8:33 according to Universal Time (UT) while it will be visible in Pakistan at 14:33 hrs according to Pakistan Standard Times (PST).

The eclipse will end on 10:44 UT and the greatest eclipse will be at 9:19. The eclipse will only be visible in most parts of Canada, America and Australia. It is so minor and will be completely invisible to the naked eye.

The second eclipse of the series, solar eclipse will occur on July 22 and it will be visible in Pakistan, India, China, Japanese islands and the South Pacific Ocean.

The partial eclipse will be visible from Eastern Asia, Indonesia and Pacific Ocean.

The solar eclipse will start at 23:58 UT that will end on 5:12. The greatest eclipse will be at 8:35 UT.

Penumbral eclipse of the moon will occur on August 06 which will be visible from Europe, Africa and South America. It will not be visible to the naked eye and partially visible in Pakistan at the time of moon set.

The eclipse will begin at 23:01 UT and end on 2:17 and the greatest eclipse will be at 00:39, according to Universal Time.

A partial eclipse of the moon will also occur in December this year which will be best visible from the Northern Canada, Alaska, Australia, Indonesia, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Artic regions and will also be visible from Pakistan.

According to PMD’s calculations, there will be six eclipses, two solar and four lunar eclipses during this year.

The first solar eclipse of the year had occurred in January which was not visible in Pakistan. While the deepest penumberal eclipse of the moon occurred in February this year that was partially visible in the country for a very short time.

Oldest Bible Made Whole Again Online

The surviving parts of the world's oldest Bible were reunited online Monday, generating excitement among scholars striving to unlock its mysteries.

The Codex Sinaiticus was hand-written by four scribes in Greek on animal hide, known as vellum, in the mid-fourth century around the time of the Roman emperor Constantine the Great who embraced Christianity.

Not all of it has withstood the ravages of time, but the pages that have include the whole of the New Testament and the earliest surviving copy of the Gospels written at different times after Christ's death by the four Evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The Bible's remaining 800 pages and fragments -- it was originally some 1,400 pages long -- also contain half of a copy of the Old Testament. The other half has been lost.

"The Codex Sinaiticus is one of the world's greatest written treasures," said Scot McKendrick, head of Western manuscripts at the British Library.

"This 1,600-year-old manuscript offers a window into the development of early Christianity and first-hand evidence of how the text of the Bible was transmitted from generation to generation," he said.

The texts include numerous revisions, additions and corrections made during its evolution down through the ages.

"The Codex ...is arguably the oldest large bound book to have survived," said McKendrick, pointing out that each page is 16 inches tall by 14 inches wide.

"Critically, it marks the definite triumph of bound codices over (papyrus) scrolls -- a key watershed in how the Christian Bible was regarded as a sacred text," he said.

FOUR-YEAR PROJECT

The ancient parchments, which appear almost translucent, are a collection of sections held by the British Library in London, the Monastery of St. Catherine in Sinai, Egypt, the National Library of Russia and Leipzig University Library in Germany.

Each institution owns different amounts of the manuscript, but the British Library, which digitised the delicate pages of the entire book in London, holds by far the most.

The four-year joint project, which began in 2005 with the aim of "virtually reunifying" and preserving the Bible, as well as undertaking new research into its history, has shed new light on who made it and how it was produced.

Importantly, experts at the British Library say, the project has uncovered evidence that a fourth scribe -- along with the three already recognized -- worked on the texts.

The assembly and transcription of the book includes previously unpublished pages of the Codex found in a blocked-off room at St. Catherine's Monastery, at the foot of Mount Moses, Sinai, in 1975, some of which are in a poor condition and have been difficult to study.

But there are still many unanswered questions about how the book came to be, said the British Library's Juan Garces, project manager of Greek manuscripts, who worked on the digitization.

For instance, where was it made? Which religious order commissioned it? And how long did it take to produce?

"The limits on access to this manuscript previously have meant that people (academics) have tended to dip, so that they have seized on particular things" to advance theories, McKendrick told Reuters.

He said the website will enable research to be carried out in a holistic way for the first time, forcing top scholars to view their theories in context.

A good example, he said, was evidence advanced by some academics pointing to the theory that it could have been made in the ancient city of Cesarea in Israel.

"It is our hope this will provide the catalyst for new research and it is already creating great interest," Garces told Reuters.

The Bible, which can be viewed online free at http://www.codexsinaiticus.org/en/, includes modern Greek translations and some sections translated into English.

With absurd ease, Asperger's victim Gary hacked into Pentagon computers in a bid to prove the existence of little green men. So why is the U.S. using all its might to extradite him to face 60 years in jail? And more pertinently, why are our craven politicians doing nothing to help him?

To all who know him, Gary McKinnon is a harmless computer nerd obsessed with proving the existence of 'little green men'.

Yet the U.S. authorities insist the British UFO fanatic is a 'cyber-terrorist' who hacked into top-secret Pentagon and NASA computers.

They say that Gary, who has Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism, must be extradited and tried in their courts.

They have vowed to put the vulnerable 43-year-old behind bars for up to 60 years - which means he would almost certainly die in a notorious high-security Supermax jail.

Medical experts say the stress of extradition alone could kill him, or he might well take his own life.

Yet, incredibly, the Government is doing nothing to protect Gary from extradition - despite the fact that he freely admits computer hacking and could easily be punished here for his crimes.

That is why the Daily Mail today launches a campaign asking new Home Secretary Alan Johnson to halt the extradition. Gary could then be properly - but fairly - dealt with in the country in which his crimes were committed, close to his loving and supportive family.
LOPSIDED EXTRADITION

The controversial 2003 Extradition Act was pushed through in the aftermath of 9/11, ostensibly to fight the war on terror.

But the treaty between London and Washington is considered dangerously lopsided in favour of the U.S. - which has extradited twice as many suspects as have travelled in the opposite direction.

Campaigners and politicians are urging the Government to review an Act they say is a 'grotesque injustice' for Britons facing removal to the U.S.

The central problem is that the arrangements give British citizens inferior rights to Americans. The U.S. can demand a Briton's extradition without having to provide any evidence - but Britain has to prove its case in a U.S. court.

Under the Act, if the U.S. government wants to extradite a UK citizen it needs only to outline the alleged offence, the punishment specified by statute and provide an accurate description of the suspect sought.

But to extradite an American from the States, Britain must prove 'probable cause' - which the U.S. constitution's fourth amendment defines as 'information sufficient to warrant a prudent person's belief that the wanted individual has committed a crime'.

Since January 1, 2004, when the Act was implemented, only 25 suspects have been returned to the UK while 56 have been extradited to the U.S. during the same period.

This is despite the fact that the U.S. has a population of 304million, compared with 61million in the UK.

Those controversially extradited from the UK include the so-called NatWest Three.

Giles Darby, David Bermingham and Gary Mulgrew were eventually sentenced to 37 months each in 2008 for wire fraud, after a lengthy campaign to prevent their extradition failed.

Last week David Cameron said a Conservative government would hold a review of the U.S./UK extradition treaty to 'make sure it is even-handed and works both ways'.

The Government has defended the agreement as 'the nearest rough-and-ready parity that we are reasonably likely to be able to achieve'.

Already there is a groundswell of support, with senior MPs urging Mr Johnson to intervene - on the grounds of Gary's recently-diagnosed mental condition - before it's too late.

His legal appeals are virtually exhausted and he could be on a plane to the U.S. within weeks under the terms of a highly-controversial treaty which allows British citizens to be extradited on little or no evidence.

For American citizens to be sent in the opposite direction, a detailed case must first be presented against them.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling said: 'This is a case which raises some very serious questions. Not just about the U.S.-UK extradition treaty, but also about how we deal with someone who clearly has mental health problems.

'I am far from convinced that extradition is the right way forward and I think this case needs to be reviewed again to see whether he should be tried in this country and not the U.S.'

Liberal Democrat spokesman Chris Huhne said: 'It would be an insult to British justice if Gary McKinnon were sent to America for trial.

'His medical condition should surely justify a more compassionate approach.'

Professor Simon Baron-Cohen of Cambridge University, one of the world's leading authorities on autism, said there is a 'high risk of serious deterioration' of Gary's mental health if he is extradited.

He warned: 'If separated from his parents and put into the traumatic environment of prison, there is a risk that he would take his own life.'

More than 100 MPs are supporting Gary, a self-confessed 'bumbling computer nerd'.

His ordeal began in 2002 after he was caught hacking into the U.S. military network and NASA from the bedroom of his North London flat, using a basic borrowed computer. He was looking for evidence of little green men.

But according to the Americans he is the man behind the 'biggest military hack of all time' after breaching the security of almost 100 computers before and after the September 11 attacks.

Gary does not deny being behind the attacks. But he and his supporters say the hacking was naively motivated by his eccentric search for the existence of UFOs because he has Asperger's - a form of autism which leads to obsessive behaviour.

His legal team have protested against repeated failures by the Government to protect Gary or recognise the seriousness of his medical condition.

Ex-Home Secretary Jacqui Smith was accused of failing even to request Gary be bailed if he were extradited to the U.S. or to be allowed to serve some of his sentence back home.

Meanwhile, the U.S. authorities stand accused of a 'distasteful' attempt to twist Gary's arm into accepting extradition without a fight by offering a crude plea-bargain.

Officials promised a short sentence if he voluntarily went to the States - while threatening decades behind bars in a tough jail if he contested the case.





But a string of legal appeals based upon these failing and dubious tactics have proved unsuccessful in the British courts, House of Lords and Europe.

Gary's final throw of the dice is a judicial review against Miss Smith's decision to uphold the extradition, in spite of his Asperger's, which took place last month, and a second judicial review - in a fortnight - against the decision by the Director of Public Prosecutions not to try him in the UK. Judgment is expected by the end of July.

Beyond that, Gary and his campaigning mother Janis are in the hands of Mr Johnson.

Gary said: 'What I did was illegal and wrong, but the American reaction is aggressive and totally out of all proportion.'

A Home Office spokesman said: 'This case has been subjected to the closest attention and the greatest possible procedural fairness. The Home Secretary gave very careful consideration before deciding in July 2006 to order extradition.

'It is important to be clear that, under the terms of the Extradition Act 2003, the Home Secretary must order extradition unless certain limited conditions are met.

'The courts have already said that those conditions are not met in Mr McKinnon's case; and his attempts to defeat the U.S. request have since been dismissed by the High Court, the House of Lords and the European Court of Human Rights.'

Many of those with Asperger's Syndrome are gentle, a little unworldly, but normally with above-average intelligence.

And, as in Gary McKinnon's case, a great many adults have grown up without knowing they have it.

Although identified more than 60 years ago, it became officially classified only in 1992 when recognised by the World Health Organisation.

It is a form of autism, which is a lifelong 'hidden disability' that affects how a person makes sense of the world, processes information and relates to others.

Those with Asperger's struggle to understand the unwritten social rules which help most of us act and speak appropriately.

Deciphering figures of speech is hard, they are frequently literal in what they say to the point of rudeness and when the world becomes an extremely stressful place, many retreat into their own safe haven of routine, solitude and obsessive special interests. It took an expert in Asperger's, watching Gary during a TV interview, first to alert his family and legal team that here was a classic example of the condition.

And once identified, much of his behaviour as a child and adult was instantly explained. But the diagnosis compounded the fear his family and supporters have for Gary if he is extradited to the U.S.

Because of the syndrome they are terrified of the severe mental distress he could suffer, warning that he would be at risk of psychosis or even suicide if forcibly removed from the UK.

Asperger's Syndrome was first described in the 1940s by Austrian paediatrician Hans Asperger, when he published a paper on four children who had problems communicating and interacting with their parents and peers.

The half million or so people in the UK with Asperger's lie at the milder end of the autistic spectrum. It can run in families and is more common in boys and men.

Silicon Valley in California has one of the highest rates of Asperger's and it has been suggested that Alan Turing, the father of modern computing, probably had the condition.

Computers make a perfect interest for those who do have the syndrome - there are no subtle nuances to miss, so someone with Asperger's understands his computer better than he does the people around him. Hence the desire to spend hour after hour on it.

Among famous sufferers are pop star Gary Numan, Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of Pokemon, Nobel Prize-winning economist Vernon Smith and Peter Howson, one of Britain's most celebrated artists.

I really love Colin Andrews website where he has posted a BBC interview link between him and Nick Pope over crop circles.

It's possible they're multi-functioning cloaking probe vehicles. They serve many monitoring purposes.
The craft appeared trans-dimensional allowing a doorway for the Orbs to transpose through. Why there were so many of them.
