If disclosure actually happened in the next several months (I doubt it will happen), that would be the first real sign that big changes for Earth are unfolding. The great majority of people that are totally focused on the mundane issues expressed by the media would hopefully get slapped hard on the face.

But I would be very skeptical of any disclosure involving the visible power people such as presidents, prime ministers and military types. Behind these people, there are most likely others much more powerful. And some may not be human.

But despite what I fear may be true, I would still vote for this disclosure to happen because something powerful needs to blow up the sick state of affairs that prevails on a global level on our planet.

Quote from an unknown Convocation Address:

..."Since 1947 or perhaps much earlier the UFO/ET issue burst onto the scene. The matter has been investigated, scrutinized, ridiculed, stigmatized, written about and toss about like a piece of red-hot coal for over 60 years.

Where do we find ourselves today with this matter both within the UFO/ET research community and in the broader arena of public perception? As it stands today, in the year 2009 the state of affairs in the UFO/ET issue will one day be looked back upon as a, simplistic, naïve and perhaps nascent, struggling search for what was in front of our eyes all the while.

History will show we were too blind or collectively too stubborn to see all along. Complicit with our handlers in the so-called democratic existence we pretend to be part of, some among us will not give way to allow the truth to be heard or seen.

So, it is up to us to define where we are and where we must go with this matter. We discover what might lay below the surface by peeling away the layers to see where we are, who we are and where we are headed. Oddly enough it is a hopeful but not pretty picture.

The First Layers

Constant sightings that confound. Reports of abductions that perplex and are demonized. Government documents that are either real or fake. New UFO craft that have never been seen before that represent new emerging radical technology. Multiple sightings ignored by the general public, an indolent and complicit media and intelligence agencies craftily engaging in a crafty conspiracy of silence louder than a Shuttle re-entry no hears. Institutions, industry and a scientific community thrashing about to find illusive alternate energy sources, yet that remain blissfully ignorant of (or too proud to examine) the new realities of exotic energy used by the off-worlds. A government, a populace and media in denial about or totally ambivalent towards the distinctly real possibility that we live in a universe teeming with life… and get this! Some of those life forms have decided it´s time for a visit. Shall I go on even though no one is paying attention?

Sure. As the onion layers fall away, we can see the tears of regret wheal-up in the eyes of those of us who know. Keep the layers close by; not to be blown away in the wind, for they are our tickets back home, to the truth amidst the chaos.

We also have a UFO research community in chaos. Attempts by some to create consensus and achieve a realistic evolution of research methodologies are thwarted at every turn by reactionaries, unwilling to risk speaking of the obvious. Internal dissent, vitriol disguised as debate, e-mail crossing the vastness of cyberspace at light speed denigrates the work of this ufologist or that exopolitician or this researcher or that government witness – a community in disarray, reflecting the general anarchy in which the planet finds itself in 2009.

Who would ever want to interact with a race like ours anyway? One bent on global extinction behaviours that would have us remonstrate any religious belief, burn fossil fuels until it chokes every butterfly and rain forest on the planet and then, in denial, look the other way as if there´s really nothing wrong. A race that sabotages authentic attempts to resolve conflict in favour of spending more money on war does not sound as though it may be salvageable.

We also have a so-called monolith to deal with - an "elected government" whose sole objective appears to be to prevaricate, obfuscate and turn a once cherished value called democracy into the biggest sham since the lead nickel or the dumping of grain into the ocean to keep the price of bread out of reach of third world children. Does any of this make sense?

A pathetic lot we are as we sit to watch the parade pass – hoping for that one really nice float at the end of the procession that will ease our conscience because we´ve sat on our hands for so long, covering our eyes and ears in the hope – "there must be something good coming soon." Good things come to those who wait, or, he who hesitates is lost? A layer of indolence or a layer of action? We become inert. An enigmatic lot we are indeed.

But as the layers fall away small splinters of hope emerge.

ET is here and they seem, for whatever strange reason, willing to and wanting to help.

These are the layers… the state of the onion.

The Secrecy Layer

Let´s start with a simple lie, misdirection or truth depending on your perspective or one´s reactionary tendency to disbelieve the written word. As we all know it´s hard to tell the difference these days.

In a 1952 CIA document entitled "Flying Saucers" it states, "Pursuant to your request for overall evaluation of the "flying saucers" and associated reports, the following is pertinent. Notwithstanding the foregoing… facts, so long as a series of reports remains "unexplainable" (interplanetary aspects and alien origin not being thoroughly excluded from consideration) caution requires that intelligence continue coverage of the subject. It is recommended that CIA surveillance of the subject matter, in coordination with proper authorities… be continued. It is strongly urged, however, that no indication of CIA interest or concern reach the press or public, in view of their probable alarmist tendencies to accept such interest as confirmatory of the soundness of ´unpublished facts´ in the hands of the U.S. government." [EDWARD TAUS]

Choose to accept it or not, but as part of the American CIA web site in 2008 it must be considered. Many documents like this exist. Thousands more exist that we´ll never know about.

Are we to believe that since 1952 we have been so well manipulated that anything said about the UFO issue would be so soaked in doubt and tainted by disinformation that we disregard it outright because nothing, no-thing, can be trusted as a representation of reality when it comes to reaching some understanding that we may be being visited by off-world civilizations? Or, in an even more lenient way, ignoring what may become part of a subtle and complex puzzle leading to a clearer picture of what the truth may hold.

Any UFO researcher or media journalist who cannot see that this CIA memo clearly indicates there is very good reason to believe that a recommendation was put in place by the American Central Intelligence Agency to obfuscate the UFO issue decades ago, and who fails to investigate it in public, is either stupid (in the true sense of the word - stooped with eyes cast down) or is part of the same obfuscation process which originated the memo in the first place. This type of information must be viewed as at least part of the truth-puzzle; a layer to be examined not cast away in the winds of distrust. These kinds of conversations were and still are rampant but few pay heed.

It is not surprising then that many of us feel we have been so cleverly lied to for so long that as a community we do not know what to believe any more. This has been the success of the body politic - to keep us thoroughly confused about the UFO/ET issue and yet keep it cleverly hidden in the light of day under a canvas of secrecy. Like a tarpaulin covering a car, it yields to the open mind a silhouette that tells us it´s a vehicle. We see it before our eyes yet we are unable to discern details of its year, make, colour and model or whether it can be driven forwards or backwards; a very frustrating situation to our purportedly sophisticated intellectual human acuity. Especially when we are being told it´s an elephant.

Even the least curious among us should refuse to accept the known lie and the perceived one. This is a new definition of secrecy in the modern era of UFO/ET research – the lies we see and the ones we cannot. No wonder the truth is so hard to procure.

This form of government secrecy and the players beyond the curtain´s shadow of control have succeeded in plying doubt. Truth has become the casualty.

Again, one of our most prodigious researchers Richard M. Dolan assists our understanding. His assessment of government secrecy is profound. In an article he wrote, "America's classified world is removed almost entirely from public control. In the early 1990s, Herbert Foerstel, Head of Branch Libraries at University of Maryland and board member of the National Security Archive, reported that the Pentagon alone had about 10,000 classification compartments, often called Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). More recently, author James Bamford (Body of Secrets) likened the classified system to ´an endless spiral, [with] secret classification systems within secret classification systems.´ We number our classified documents by the trillion, and the number continues to grow."

The Media Layer

The simple fact of the matter is that despite mountains of data and strange but reliable information, media refuses to pursue what could very well be truer than any of us are able or willing to believe.

Many in the UFO/ET research community have always been of the conviction that this so-called UFO/ET issue is so much more strange than we can ever imagine that when it all falls in to place as disclosure unfolds, the unfurling of the ET matter will defy and may not remotely resemble any of our wildest imaginings of what is really under the tarpaulin. This is the centre of the onion.

But our finest collective instrument at getting at what the nuggets of truth might be, a free press – is letting us down big time. Media has become inert like a deer frozen in the headlights of an on-coming car – knowing it should not stay to witness what might come next but is captivated and petrified by the sheer magnitude of what is coming.

The failure of media to question government secrecy in 2009 at all levels contradicts the role of media as a public guardian. Besides lies by government – the media´s flaccid presence is the greatest crime against a humanity the press was once inaugurated to serve.



Media has become indolent. Media has become a tool of a political slight of hand; a public deception, a manufacturer of madness witnessed on the nightly news and then again on Oscar night for the truly media-insane. If media were to ever wake up from its self-induced coma or choose to shed the drug administered to it by government intel-agencies, the fourth estate would awaken thoroughly embarrassed, unshaven as it peers into the morning mirror. Not recognizing itself, it will run and hide in the nearest forest of lies of its own making. Hearing the whispers of secrecy it neglects to confront, those in the media may need to find a comfortable rock under which to hide when ET comes knocking. Explanations of weather balloons will collapse like a cheap inflatable latex doll.

The media represents a truly enigmatic layer in the State of the Onion. It could be our finest tool. Yet media exists for the sake of a different piper. The one who pays the piper calls the tune; and the tune is; "do not touch government secrecy – trah-la-la-la-la." Examination of government secrecy by the media should not and must not be done only when it is expedient, competitively essential, politically correct or obvious. It must be done because it is necessary.

Journalists, at least at one time where there, there to ask the hard questions about sequestered information beyond the public domain. This doesn´t seem to happen anymore. Is this the position of media today? Does it see current layers of government secrecy as acceptable? It must, because secrecy is alive and well, thriving behind newspaper articles about tin-foil hats, hungry little aliens and the pseudo-nirvana of Hollywood, game shows and a never ending series of wars staged by the pipers.

Where does the truth reside today? Some maintain it sits in the bottom drawer of the pipers; a powerful elite. The only way that drawer will be wrenched open is by a combination of ET intrusiveness, public awareness and a media that wakes from its slumber. The truth, being as pervasive as we know it is, also resides in the collective consciousness of those who diligently toil to over-throw secrecy and a pale government-entity that has somehow usurped democracy while media was occupied by the glitz of the trivial.

Simply continuing to tell stories on a never-ending carousel of repetitive sports, entertainment, food and the sometimes intelligent but ruminative columns by obviously tired featured columnists is clearly not igniting the average mind to discover the truth. If anything it enslaves it.

Even the once constant coverage of George W. Bush and his former UK counter-part who blatantly lied to their countries and the world about a needless war no longer energizes people´s sense of indignation. Sadly, 911 has faded from public consciousness and been replaced by the fear of a faceless thing called "terrorism", an unsubstantiated ET threat and a vestige of a failing US economy on the verge of collapse. Quite frankly, the public has been numbed by the news rather than informed and energized by it. Strangely we have not only learned through the media to fear the future and mistrust our political leadership, but we have also learned how to enable them to keep on lying about trust and leadership. The truth becomes a casualty. We´ve had a number done on us – without even knowing it.

When will a leader emerge in journalism or in political life who is not fearful of high risk in order to tell the truth by breaking the cycle of silence and infectiously mundane issues to engage and link the ET issue to the enormous energy problems we face, the catastrophic environmental decay and a dysfunctional and immoral political agenda that keeps the poor, poor and the rich very, very rich?

Maybe that´s the way things ought to be in a world run by a corporate elite status quo. The world-wide onslaught of daily news has become a pernicious veil of mendacious pseudo-reality. This veil screens an indolent but needy citizenry from ´behind-the-scenes geo-politics´ that refuses to acknowledge not only its own mendacity but the blatant evidence of ethical off-world civilizations. The current path says; remain complicit. But a new path takes us to a new morality.

A Stranger Layer

Fact and another onion layer: To act as if this issue and the evidence do not exist is no longer an option. Fact, and yet another layer: Neither are the existence of ETs and the UFO phenomenon a minor misunderstanding by several hundreds of thousands of people. Too much historical evidence and current literature exists to deny we are in fact experiencing a shift in our collective reality. Being visited by peaceful and ethical off-world civilizations who have mastered interstellar travel at or beyond light speed and advanced technologies may assist humanity, if we dare to be attentive to the subtleness of their communication. Answer the call or ignore it as a marketing ploy from far away.

The telephone is ringing…Hello?

To pretend otherwise or to draw our weapons is to manufacture another mythology within a democracy already fraught with fear and deception about our comfortable state of existence amidst sordid poverty, climate change due to our over-reliance on fossil fuels, the vanishing perma-frost, health care systems that respond to politics rather than the sick, a cycle of permanent war with a faceless enemy, a seemingly non-ending succession of cultural and religious violence and terrorism - a planet in disarray.

Amidst these ´extinction behaviours´ a corporate elite thrives on fossil fuel profits in the trillions of dollars, a war economy and environmental ignorance – while 3,000 children per day die of malaria in Africa. (The W.H.O. and the United Nations Children´s Fund UNICEF April 2003 report data.) It is now within our grasp to resolve these issues.

These particular layers of the onion are not only disgraceful but they reek of despair.

In the face of this despair can we afford to ignore news of these ethical off-world civilizations as did the flat-Earth factions in history or as do the reactionaries within the UFO research community? In doing so we remain inert to these current global problems, like the deer frozen in the headlights of the oncoming car. The virtually insoluble travesties this ideology of despair engenders for us as a global community disables our capacity to recognize the possible demise of our way of life.

We react with frustration to the dead batteries in our TV remotes but remain ambivalent to the genocide of aids and the immorality of institutionalized ignorance. Planetary consensus about anything is a hope and dream kept from us by some very powerful people. But can they tell us what to hope for and what to dream?

One turns the page of a book in anticipation not despair.

The Layer of Hope

Can we engage the necessary discourse that speaks of hope about the plight of our planet and the relationships we may develop with those who may have found a better way? Refusing to speak of these possibilities is a refusal to accept and nurture ourselves as sentient. It denies us all a future that may hold an optimism never experienced in human history before. This DNA like denial gene relegates us to the nightmare of extinction.

Hope is a painful and arduous endeavour. But it is a gateway to maturity. Although we have not shown ourselves to be an overly prudent species thus far, our spiritual maturity is not in doubt and is surely resilient enough to handle this manner of discourse. The problems we face today could become remnants of the past if we choose to engage a different kind of discourse regarding the hidden possibilities of contact with highly advanced ethical off-world civilizations.

If the notion of ethical off-world civilizations is in fact incorrect or vastly different from what we hope it may be – then, we want to learn this through open investigations and a public examination of all the facts – and not be deceived or coerced into collectively disbelieving it as a result of the feigned ignorance, silence, complicity or deceit among an inert media or a governmental military industrial complex bent on abject secrecy. This form of public acquiescence and lemming-like behaviour is far too common and is the antithesis of the hope and social justice that is humanity´s primordial birthright.

What does government gain by withholding this information and repressing any open rational discourse among us? Must we wait for our government to lead us by the nose to an interpretation that may be theirs and theirs alone? If we wait we are doomed.

The recent hopeful disclosures by the French, Brazilians and the British of their UFO files will one day be looked upon as the first wave of official government conversation on the UFO/ET matter. Did these countries respond to the 1978 United Nations Decision 33/426 which encouraged all member nations to examine the phenomenon more openly? The often ridiculed UN may have – in its ponderous wisdom – ignited a political eagerness to move to the next layer of international disclosure.

If this path were to be followed by other G8 countries, we may not have to wait for these people from the stars to manifest themselves. We may actually be able to begin, by ourselves, the mature and open discussion about what the possibilities of contact with them may really mean to us. Citizens in a democratic society have the right to discuss these issues in a public forum, free from ridicule and above all openly challenge their political servant-leaders for answers and action.

The layers indeed get more provocative as we approach the centre of the onion.

It would be highly remiss of us if we wait too long – too long after the government agencies at hand destroy these documents and it all becomes a matter of "He said – she said…" This is an imminent possibility. The evidence is all there now. The action and catalyst of open discourse must be initiated - now - before it is too late.

Media can be the key in peeling away the layers of the onion to break through the doors of a secret that has been guarded for 60 years and save the truth from destruction only if we actively appoint it to do so.

We should not hope that ET will resolve our problems. However, knowing that there is a community of civilizations that have perhaps achieved the capacity to travel among the stars and who practice a form of interspecies ethics we know little about is at least consoling and at most, motivation for us to achieve the greatness the human spirit surely possesses.

When the day eventually comes, after all the layers have disappeared and the truth stares us in the eye, we can look back at this perspective as an early layer of understanding on the way to the core of the onion..."

Steph, although we disagree on quite a bit, I should point out that when you're commenting on things like the death of a particular individual (Harrington, in this case), "assassinations" aren't always intended to be as overt as, say, the JFK assassination. Cancer is, in fact, an oft-used method of eliminating an individual, usually because it looks "natural". Following the course of "logic", if one were intelligent and did a good job of it, one would not want to have a "suspicious" death; it should look as natural as possible. This is often over-looked when examining these issues, as if any act committed by black-ops would by definition somehow be clumsy and noticeable, or overt. Rarely is that the case, except when the assassinations are designed to send a clear signal of intimidation to any and all who would commit to a similar course of action. Just using my logical and deductive reasoning here.

Regarding the NL/ZT material; as I've often pointed out, other than the so-called "White Lie" (what I call the "Grey Lie") and related taunts, the primary claims have not been disproven, and though only to a minimal degree in many cases, many have actually been proven. (Note the phrase "minimal degree"; nothing so overt as to disturb that all-important concept of "Domestic Tranquility" or that required to maintain the "Element of Doubt". Personally I have issues with that, as I feel it's intellectually dishonest.) In the meantime, one would have to question just what folks like Jim Moore are describing when they detail their deductive findings. That's not the same as declaring those findings as being definitive 'truth', but they are interesting findings nonetheless that have a basis in factual data that can't easily be disputed. The relative value or importance of it may be in question, but the underlying form that starts to take shape when these many dots are connected shows a plausibility that needs a more substantive rejoinder.

Incidentally, I would never imply that you or anyone else has simply been "sucked into the conspiracy" simply because you question some widely-held conspiratorial precepts. My own belief is that much "conspiracy theory" was pre-manufactured, to muddy any attempt to truthfully 'disclose' by providing a belief system that appears to take many of these issues into account and provide a framework of understanding.....when in reality it's a framework of mis-understanding. Hence one of my mottos: Always look to the 'destiny of the message' when trying to determine whether information is more factual or less.

BERLIN — A row in Germany over a "two-tier" swine flu vaccination programme has prompted Chancellor Angela Merkel to say she'll get the jab meant for the public rather than one reserved for "essential workers".

Criticism over "government-only" flu jabs, reserved for soldiers, policemen, and essential workers, comes against the backdrop of a nationwide immunisation campaign due to start next week.

The H1N1 virus has so far affected just 23,000 people in Germany, but the government is keen on vaccinating as many people as possible to avoid a possible large-scale outbreak at the start of the winter season.

But revelations in the press that top officials and other essential workers will get the Celvapan vaccine, manufactured by Baxter, which has fewer side effects than the mass Pandemrix vaccine manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline has caused a public outcry.

Government spokesman Ulrich Wilhelm has rejected accusations of a "two-tier medical system", saying both vaccines have equal worth.

Three vaccines -- Pandemrix, Celvapan, and Focetria -- have been approved by the European Union to fight the swine flu epidemic and "there isn't a 'better' or a 'worse' one", Wilhelm told a news conference Monday.

Merkel "will be seeing her regular general practitioner, will get his advice, and then will be vaccinated" with Pandemrix, the jab meant for the general public, Wilhelm added.

A number of newspapers nevertheless worried that the government was giving the appearance of double standards.

"How can an ordinary citizen understand that a vaccine with fewer side effects has been ordered for ministers than the one intended for the masses," asked the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

Health ministry spokesman Klaus Vater explained that the government had ordered 200,000 vaccines from Baxter last year, in the wake of the bird flu scare, as a precautionary measure to protect essential workers from swine flu.

The government later ordered 50 million vaccines from GlaxoSmithKline to allow for the double dose vaccinations of some 25 million people in Germany, or about a third of the population.

The specialist for health matters at the social-democratic party, Karl Lauterbach, told the Stadt-Anzeiger newspaper that the Pandemrix jab was not recommended for young children and pregnant women because of possible side effects.

He also strongly criticized the government's information policy saying that the present row might lead people to forgo immunisation altogether.

Recent opinion polls here have suggested that Germans are not overly concerned about the flu which appears to have killed only two people to date in the country.

An Emnit poll said 59 percent of Germans had no fear of the flu.

The European Union recently warned against complacency over the spread of swine flu and urged people to get vaccinated even though the virus has not hit as hard as first feared.

"Even if the pandemic situation isn't so dramatic in Europe right now, we have to listen to the experts who say it's not time to lower our guard," said Swedish Public Health Minister Maria Larsson, whose country holds the EU presidency.

The swine flu has killed over 4,700 people in 191 countries and territories since it first appeared in the spring, according to the World Health Organisation.

For several years various messengers of the light have been telling you about the spiritually, intellectually and technologically advanced civilizations surrounding you—soon you will hear this truth from persons in your world whom you trust and respect.

But awakening of the masses isn’t happening as quickly as need be and time is of the essence, so it has been agreed to jolt the many sound sleepers with something that cannot miss getting everyone’s attention—your governments acknowledging that other intelligent beings are in the universe.

5. According to information reaching us about the “unveiling,” it will be understated rather than dramatic, such as a simultaneous fleet of spacecraft decloaking or a host of visitors landing. And there will not be an immediate outpouring of interaction with your brothers and sisters from faraway homelands—their introduction will be unfolded, not suddenly thrust upon a world where skeptics and nonbelievers will not greet this news with the same enthusiasm as you. Wisdom dictates caution so that suspense and doubt will not turn into chaos and fear.

6. The dark ones know that once this long-denied truth no longer is deniable, it opens a virtual Pandora’s box of their heinous activities throughout the ages. Thus, even as lightworkers are rejoicing that at long last the presence of other civilizations is publicly confirmed, the dark minds will be furiously churning out fear. As puppets of the off-planet dark forces, they know that the energy of fear puts a barrier between light and consciousness, and always the goal of that powerful force field of negativity has been to conquer souls by capturing their light. 7. Your interconnectedness with all souls in this universe will help dispel the fear that non-illumined individuals succumb to. 9. Now I shall move on to addressing other issues requested by “seasoned” lightworkers and new soul searchers. How quickly will improvements in life on Earth come after the presence of other civilizations is widely known? Negotiations will replace combat between nations and civil wars will wind down to resolution. Criticism of US president Obama will cease. Putting bandages on a dead economic system will end and be replaced by a new system. Technologies that have been suppressed by one malicious means or another will become available for implementation.

11. Pollution in all its insidious forms will be eradicated, some quickly and others more gradually. The befouled condition of air, water and soil will be cleansed and purity returned. Other kinds of pollutants that have made life “hell on Earth” and will be phased out include weapons systems, weather control, radioactive materials, laboratory-designed diseases, deceptive media reporting, poverty, violent “entertainment,” mind controlled assassins, subjugation of women, “hate” crimes, Satanism, unfair laws and unjust justice systems, “illegal” and prescription drugs, cruelty to animals—EVERYTHING that has been devised by dark intent will be done away with!

Economic historian Niall Ferguson warns that China's love affair with the dollar is fading faster than anyone realizes.

TechTicker: "The idea they don't have anywhere else to go or would shoot themselves in the foot if there were a steep decline in the dollar or appreciation of their currency reassures many people in Washington ‘we can relax'," he says. "An appreciation of the renminbi may reduce value of their international reserves but increases the value of every other asset the Chinese own," most notably the commodity assets they have been buying all over the world.

China's "current strategy is to diversify out of dollars and into commodities," Ferguson says. Furthermore, China's recent pact with Brazil to conduct trade in their local currencies is a "sign of the times."

Perhaps most importantly, China's massive stimulus program is helping to generate internal consumption in the People's Republic, meaning local manufacturers are less dependent on exports. Because of the "rapid growth" of Chinese domestic consumption, Ferguson predicts China's international trade surplus could be gone by next year.

Initially an " aircraft or unit 50" was heard asking a Comstation for a clear line to a certain alpha/numerical coded unit unknown to the monitor at the time. Said clear connection was afforded to "unit 50" and then, in violation of radio security protocols, the previously mentioned coded unit answered up in the clear as "Air Force 1" . This immediately got the attention of the monitors of these channels. "Unit 50" then asked for specific authentication of codes regarding some operation from "Air Force 1", who responded ......."that's a charlie, ......The countdown has begun. "

As described above, this taken individually, is not very revealing except in terms of radio protocol security. The exact operation being discussed by "unit or aircraft 50", the requested coded authenticators, nor what the "countdown has begun" message is referring to are not known. Repeat not known precisely. However, put together with other information from sources to follow ........... this HF catch on an in the clear Frequency may be of highly grave importance.

Banking Source Warning of Potential Nuclear Device Attacks in U.S. Cities

The Q-Files headquarters received a phone call from a top executive within one of the largest Banking Corporations in the U.S. This source was highly concerned about specific information their Bank Corporation had received regarding .......Probable....attacks upon U.S. cities by terrorists of jihaddist orientation using nuclear devices which may already be in place or that may be delivered by kamikaze style attacks via small aircraft upon centralized target locations of those cities. The cities named by that Banking executive were New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Jacksonville, and Tampa .

In preparation for these potential nuclear threats upon these cities, the Banking Corporation has been instructed to set up all means to operate their Banks by executives and other personnel using secure computer systems from remote locations, to provide for potential evacuation of Bank branch employees if needed, and to take every step to protect Bank branch locations and depositors' accounts as possible. This preparation was to be completed prior to 10/23/2009 as that begins the probable time window for these potential attacks by jihaddists or other unknown terrorist operators. This Banking source was verified as to their bonafides, ie. they are who they are. As to the list of cities and type of attacks, as well as the exact date of said probable attacks .........100% guarantees are not possible and these represent the information provided to this Banking Corporation source ostensibly from non disclosed Intelligence Community sources involved with Counter Terror operations.

Intelligence Community Source Warning

Independent from the Banking source, Q-files headquarters received a similar warning about potential nuclear device attacks upon U.S. cities via telephone approximately an hour after the Banking source had called. This warning was unsolicited as well and the deep background Intelligence community source giving it has been known to the Q-Files for over a decade. Their warning stated that from 10/23/2009 onward through 10/25/2009 that a highly probable attack upon some U.S. cities by jihaddist terrorists would be launched using nuclear devices and that Counter Terrorism operators were working to prevent this from happening. Possible in place devices and also possible delivery of nuclear devices by small planes was cited by this Intel Community source. The list of potential target cities were as follows.......New York, D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Tuscon, and Miami. 100% guarantee is not possible here though this information is very plausible and since it came in separately but dovetailed with the Banking warning it is being presented here as well in confirmation of the Banking warning.

Subsequent Confirmation Attempts and Ancillary Information

In an attempt to obtain further confirmation of these nuclear device attack warnings, the Q-Files contacted other sources in the in the Intel community and in the Law Enforcement community. One high level Officer in a large Midwestern city Detective Bureau contacted their trusted source inside a large U.S. Intelligence Agency and subsequently reported that this potential threat was of a specific nature and that all over the U.S. and around the world U.S. counter terrorism operations were ongoing including U.S. special operations forces, and Nato CT personnel as well. The dates could be anytime but specifically from the 10/23/2009 time period onward was confirmed as the suspected timing window.

Several other Intelligence sources with Military or Agency backgrounds have also been contacted so that further confirmation might be had on these matters. As any further information or confirmation comes in the Q-Files will make every attempt to get it up on this web site or out over the radio waves as quickly as possible.

NASA: Why the World Will NOT End in 2012

It is a vision of the coming apocalypse thrillingly captured in the latest Hollywood blockbuster.

But fears that the world is due to end in December 2012 is just a myth fueled by internet rumour, according to a leading NASA scientist.

Dr David Morrison, who runs the space agency's 'Ask an Astrobiologist' service, says he has received more than a thousand emails from those worried that the world is due to end in 2012.

In an article published by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, Dr Morrison has answered the top 20 questions in an attempt to assuage these fears.

According to the theories on the internet, the calendar used by the ancient civilisation of the Mayans is due to come to an end in December 2012.

Luckily for conspiracy theorists, this coincides neatly with predictions by an obscure sci-fi author, who wrote about the ancient Mesopotamian civilization of Sumer, that a planet named Nibiru will collide with the Earth on that date.

Fears have been further inflamed by an apocalyptic film called '2012' starring John Cusack, which is out this November. A quick search on Amazon reveals there are 175 books listed that deal with 2012 doomsday.

First off Dr Morrison dismisses the possibility that the planet Nibiru even exists.

He writes: 'The bottom line is that Nibiru is a myth, with no basis in fact.

'To an astronomer, persistent claims about a planet that is "nearby" but “invisible” are just plain silly.'

And Dr Morrison laughs off suggestions that the government has been complicit in hiding its existence from the public.

'Even if they wanted to, the government could not keep Nibiru a secret,' he says.

'If it were real, it would be tracked by thousands of astronomers, amateurs as well a professional. These astronomers are spread all over the world.

'I know the astronomy community, and these scientists would not keep a secret even if ordered to. You just can’t hide a planet on its way to the inner solar system!'

He also addresses the concerns of those who worry that the Mayan calendar is due to end in 2012.

'Ancient calendars are interesting to historians, but they cannot match the ability we have today to keep track of time, or the precision of the calendars currently in use.

'The main point, however, is that calendars, whether contemporary or ancient, cannot predict the future of our planet or warn of things to happen on a specific date such as 2012.

'I note that my desk calendar ends much sooner, on December 31 2009, but I do not interpret this as a prediction of Armageddon. It is just the beginning of a new year.'

He added although many believe prophecies by the sixteenth century seer Nostradamus predict the end of the world in 2012, there is no evidence he has correctly predicted anything.

He also tackles the belief circulating on some internet forums that an alignment of planets in our galaxy the Milky Way could in some way disrupt the Earth's gravitational field or reverse the Earth's rotation.

'A reversal in the rotation of Earth is impossible. It has never happened and never will,' he said.

He added that although the magnetic polarity of Earth does take place around every 400,000 years scientists don't believe it will take place for another few millennia and there is no evidence it would do any harm.

Publicity for the film '2012' also comes under attack for stirring up fear about the date.

Like many Hollywood blockbusters nowadays, '2012' uses a sophisticated PR campaign which incorporates elements of 'viral' marketing.

In the trailer for the film, which plays on conspiracy theorists' fears that the truth is being somehow hidden, viewers are directed to a 'faux scientific' website.

The website purports to be the home for The Institute for Human Continuity, an entirely fictitious organisation which allows visitors to sign up for a lottery which will decide who will be saved when Armageddon comes.

'The whole 2012 disaster scenario is a hoax, fueled by ads for the Hollywood science-fiction disaster film “2012”,' he says.

'I can only hope that most people are able to distinguish Hollywood film plots from reality.'

Dr Morrison noted that a growing interest in outer space has led to a general 'cosmophobia', that is a fear of the cosmos.

He said he found people were frequently worried about the sun's magnetic field, solar storms, black holes and a rift in the Milky Way.

'Previously these would have merely been interesting astronomical ideas to explore, but now for many young people (who read misinformation about them on the web) they are objects of dread.

'This cosmophobia could be one of the worst long-term consequences of the 2012 doomsday hoax - to make people fearful of astronomy and the universe.'

A British police officer contacted UFO experts after seeing three aliens examining a freshly made crop circle near Avebury, Wiltshire.

The sergeant, who has not been named, was off-duty when he saw the figures standing in a field near Silbury Hill, and stopped his car to investigate.

However, as he approached the 'men' – all over 6ft tall with blond hair – he heard "the sound of static electricity" and the trio ran away ''faster than any man he had ever seen''.

The officer returned to his home in Marlborough, Wiltshire, and contacted paranormal experts and told them he had spotted a UFO.

Wiltshire Police has refused to comment on the incident, saying it is a ''personal matter'' for the officer involved.

Crop circle researcher Andrew Russell, who is investigating the bizarre sighting on behalf of the officer, described the moment his sighting was made.

He said: ''At first he thought they were forensic officers as they were dressed in white coveralls. He stopped his car and approached the field.

''The figures were all over 6ft and had blond hair. They seemed to be inspecting the crop. When he got to the edge of the field he heard what he believed to be a sound not dissimilar to static electricity.

''This crackling noise seemed to be running through the field and the crop was moving gently, close to where the noise was.

''He shouted to the figures who, at first, ignored him, not glancing at him. When he tried to enter the field they looked up and began running.

''He said; 'They ran faster than any man I have ever seen. I'm no slouch but they were moving so fast. I looked away for a second and when I looked back they were gone.

''I then got scared. The noise was still around but I got an uneasy feeling and headed for the car. For the rest of the day I had a pounding headache I couldn't shift.''

The bizarre incident occurred on the morning of July 6 this year as the police officer was driving.

The officer claims the three figures were examining a crop circle, which had appeared several days earlier, when he stopped his car and began walking towards them.

However, the mysterious beings disappeared when he ''looked away for a second'' and he contacted UFO experts after witnessing other paranormal activity.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: ''The police officer was apparently off duty when this happened so we have no comment to make because it is a personal not a police matter.''

Crop circle expert Colin Andrews, who investigated the incident alongside Andrew Russell, said he is ''convinced'' by the police officer's story.

He said: ''I am quite convinced the officer had an experience that day and one that we have not fully explored.

''I think with the unusual movement of the being and the poltergeist experiences there is too much additional information to say that is something in nothing.''

In 1924, the influential German mathematician David Hilbert published a paper called "The Foundations of Physics," in which he outlined an extraordinary side effect of Einstein's theory of relativity.



Hilbert was studying the interaction between a relativistic particle moving toward or away from a stationary mass. His conclusion was that if the relativistic particle had a velocity greater than about half the speed of light, a stationary mass should repel it. At least, that's how it would appear to a distant inertial observer.

That's an interesting result, and one that has been more or less forgotten, says Franklin Felber, an independent physicist based in the United States. (Hilbert's paper was written in German.)

Felber has turned this idea on its head, predicting that a relativistic particle should also repel a stationary mass. He says that this effect could be exploited to propel an initially stationary mass to a good fraction of the speed of light.

The basis for Felber's "hypervelocity propulsion" drive is that the repulsive effect allows a relativistic particle to deliver a specific impulse that is greater than its specific momentum, thereby achieving speeds greater than the driving particle's speed. He says this is analogous to the elastic collision of a heavy mass with a much lighter, stationary mass, from which the lighter mass rebounds with about twice the speed of the heavy mass.

What's more, Felber predicts that this speed can be achieved without generating the severe stresses that could damage a space vehicle or its occupants. That's because the spacecraft follows a geodetic trajectory, in which the only stresses arise from tidal forces (although it's not clear why those forces wouldn't be substantial).

That's a neat idea, but little better than science fiction, were it not for one further corollary: Felber is proposing an experiment that could prove his ideas or damn them.

It turns out that when it is up and running, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will accelerate particles to the kind of energies that generate this repulsive force. Felber's idea is to set up a test mass next to the beam line and measure the forces on it as the particles whiz past.

The repulsive force that Felber predicts will be tiny, but it could be detected using resonant test mass. And since the experiment wouldn't interfere with the LHC's main business of colliding particles, it could be run in conjunction with it.

While the huge energy of the LHC makes it first choice for such an experiment, Felber says the effect could also be seen at Fermilab's Tevatron, albeit with a signal strength that would be three orders of magnitude smaller.

Perhaps that's something to consider as a last hurrah for the old Tevatron, before they begin mothballing it sometime next year.

How Would We Handle First Contact? Recent Studies Offer Clues; No Answers

In this week’s edition of Mysterious Universe, Ben and Aaron debated how Earthlings would react if there was unequivocal proof that UFOs and their E.T. pilots were really visiting Earth. Ben thought humans could handle the news with aplomb; Aaron thought most would freak out.

Coincidentally (or synchronistically), I came across not one, not two, not three, but four articles that offer insights into where and how we get the thoughts we have in our heads (hint: not by thinking) and what we do with them next (basically, OBEY).

The first comes from Edgescience and describes the results of a ten-year study conducted by the Global Consciousness Project. Working in collaboration with over 100 scientists, the GCP installed Random Number Generators (RNG) at 65 sites around the world that churned away mundane day after mundane day in order to capture those few less mundane days when major global events occur such as 9/11 Terrorist attacks, the 2004 tsunami, and the 2008 election of President Barack Obama. Or, say, the landing of flying saucers on the White House lawn.

The study started from the hypothesis that during such events the RNG instrument would become non-random and thereby provide evidence of a global consciousness. GCP director Roger D. Nelson explains:

“We predict departures from expectation when there is a widespread, profound sharing of mental and emotional responses. [What they found was] “the overall statistics for the project indicate odds of about 1 in 20 million that the correlation of our data with global events is merely a chance fluctuation….The GCP effect implies that the behavior of RNGs separated by global distances becomes correlated during events of importance to humans. This is a profoundly mysterious outcome that stretches our scientific imaginations.”

And although the study doesn’t attempt to explain the source or nature of the global consciousness connection, the results showed that when a big event happens, we all sense the vibe–maybe in the same mysterious way that a flock of starlings will suddenly rise up en masse as though they shared a single brain.

The GCP results might have Nelson–and Ben–humming “We Are the World,” as it suggests that when the paradigm shifts, even radically and/or tragically, our interconnectedness as a species in some as yet unknown way helps us keep our equilibrium as individuals and carry on as a society.

Meanwhile, Aaron may find himself whistling a happy tune after reading the New England Journal of Medicine (a peer reviewed publication; nothing “airy fairy” about it). Needless to say, this study has nothing to do with hive mind much less E.T. The results, also dissected in The Buddy System the October issue of Wired magazine, uses data from a unique 40-year study on one community’s long-term health to answer the question: if there’s really an epidemic of obesity, how is it spread?

What the researchers found was that fatness spreads like the plague throughout an individual’s social network You can actually see happen over time via Wired’s awesome graphics but the gist of it boils down to this statistic: if your spouse becomes obese, your chances of becoming obese increased by 57 percent. If it’s a close friend who takes on tonnage, your chances of obesity increase by a artery hardening 171 percent! But even if you’re just a friend of a friend of a friend of the obese one, you’ll probably end up fat, too.

Again, the scientists cannot explain the kind of psychic wi-fi that transmits the fat flu (although, in fairness, happiness, and quitting smoking and happiness are spread through social networks via the same unexplained contagion). Still, this seems to add weight to Aaron’s argument that E.T. arrives some people will utterly freak out, which will set the thought virus loose, spreading fear and prejudice (think Nazi Germany or the folks at recent American townhall meetings on health care reform who seem to have caught the crazy bug from some Ebola brainwaves broadcast by Fox News).

Of course, there’s always the possibility that we (as a species) will have advance warning of our new out-of- area callers via prophetic dreams, which inexplicably beam knowledge of future events into our sleeping as studied in the new book The Power Of Premonitions: How Knowing The Future Can Shape Our Lives by a medical doctor, Larry Dossey, who has experienced premonitory dreams and cataloged many extraordinary examples experienced throughout history.

Maybe an MU listener will have a dream that answers the question of whether ET will freak us out ala Aaron, or be welcomed with open minds as Ben would like to think.

Or, finally, could it be that the question itself is being asked a couple of thousand years after the fact and therefore way too late? Greg Bishop explains at UFO Mystic considers the possibility that the whole UFO phenomena is simply an idea planted in our heads :

An article by Benedict Carey from the New York Times reports on research into seemingly nonsensical events and how they are useful in deconstructing our endless search for structure and meaning, injecting helpful doses of depatterning. Participants in a study were asked to read an absurdist short story by Franz Kafka and then given a test that analyzed their ability to find hidden patterns in strings of letters:

The test is a standard measure of what researchers call implicit learning: knowledge gained without awareness. The students had no idea what patterns their brain was sensing or how well they were performing.

But perform they did. They chose about 30 percent more of the letter strings, and were almost twice as accurate in their choices, than a comparison group of 20 students who had read a different short story, a coherent one.

What this may indicate is that UFOs may exist as a mega-experiment in deconstructing our ideas of what is possible, our place in the universe, our ways of accepting what is real and even our methods of cataloging sensory input. The question remains as to who is conducting the experiment, and how much we are either subjects, equal partners, or almost wholly responsible for the experiments and the results.

UK man arrested for shining torch at Apache attack helicopter flying "10ft" above his garden

A man who was arrested after he shone a torch at an Apache attack helicopter flying "10ft" above his garden will not be charged, police have said.

Torben Merriott, 63, of Stradbroke, Suffolk, was arrested on "suspicion of "acting in a manner likely to endanger an aircraft" on 18 September.

Police said Mr Merriott had been released from his bail conditions and no further action would be taken.

Mr Merriott said the experience had been "demeaning and humiliating".

Mr Merriott, who runs a stage lighting firm, criticised police for being "heavy-handed" and "wasting resources". He said he might complain.

'Felt vibrations'

He said he was awoken by an "almighty noise and vibration" at 0100 BST on 18 September.

"My first reaction was that it was an earthquake," he said.

"It was a clear night but pitch black and I could feel the vibrations beating against my chest - very frightening.

"That was when I realised it must be a helicopter really low and very close. I couldn't see any navigation lights from the direction of the noise so I shone my torch."

Mr Merriott said he found it hard to be believe the pilot would have lost control in the face of his torch.

"Don't tell the Taliban that all they need is a 10-quid torch to bring down some of our finest young fliers in their multi-million pound, high-tech gunships," he said.

The Ministry of Defence said the shining of any kind of light at a helicopter was dangerous because pilots could be dazzled.
