Post "Seasonal" flu statistics and news
I thought it was time to start keeping an eye on seasonal flu; although it's early, it wouldn't hurt to watch for patterns or specific types that might be prevalent this year.

Week 44:
Nation: 6.8% of samples were flu, 159 were type A (H3), 49 were what they are calling 2009 A (H1N1), 194 were A with no subtyping, 173 were B, and there was 1 pediatric death. :candle

HHS Region 4 had the most cases of flu (Region 4: AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN) :dunno
