INVEST 96L - Tropical Storm Joyce?
Behind Isaac is another storm that developed as a tropical wave
moving off the coast of Africa — and that’s no surprise because we’re in
the prime time of year for these “Cape Verde” storms to develop.
This system is very likely to soon become Tropical Storm Joyce, and
the National Hurricane Center predicts it has a 100 percent chance to become a depression or tropical storm within the next two days. With the high pressure over the Central Atlantic weakening during the next week the-long range models suggest Joyce, if it forms,
will turn northwest and then north before reaching the Caribbean Sea and North America. If that’s the case it could eventually pose a threat to Bermuda. See radar image and read more here:
