I confirm the image Starfire1725 is mentioning. I include here the images before and after.
I can also affirm that there's no presence of the 'anomaly' on all the images of 18th, 19th and 20th of april 2009. (except for the one mention by starfire1725)

Anyway, the obvious question is: Is it possible for a massive object in space (comets or whatever) to naturally pop up like this and disappear from the Soho image technology?

Perhaps a massive object in space is very hard to reflect on Soho but a perfect angle or whatever could permit a pop up from time to time ?!

If not possible, then what can we conclude ?

We can conclude that either something is 'altering' the images, and the choice is between the images that come before and after, or the image(s) with the 'anomaly' within it. Adding it in or taking it out, as the forensics people so stated. The image could, however, be visible only at certain times as the light (or other particles that we aren't aware of) would permit much as we might see the flash of a fish in a body of water between the sun and our observation point.

I think it is logical that 'it' would be taken out before the images were uploaded for public viewing. This is one of the reasons to have NASA in control (from their POV), to ensure this was done. They have a past record of doing this, particularly with the bases on the so-called 'dark side' of the moon.

The logic of 'adding it in' would only be done as a prank of some sort. Or maybe they see it on a different camera platform, not this one, and would manufacture a 'slip-up' here that would later prove to be a 'fake', thus undercutting any credibility on this issue in the future. Upon further reflection, I don't think so. I think what we have here is the real reason these camera platforms in space were sent aloft. I think they're so adept at 'doctoring' images that they probably have a program written for it to do that as long as 'it' approaches.
