(This is terrific...Wonder how they do it?...Dex)

Rock of ages! Ancient carvings unearthed on Nevada boulders could be the oldest in America and date back nearly 15,000 YEARS

"Snip"
Those carvings were preserved in ash from the Mount Mazama volcano eruption but have now been overtaken as North America's oldest.

Later drawings usually depict weapons and animals such as spears or antelopes, but these Nevada carvings are deeply-carved geometric designs. "Snip

Dennis Jenkins, an archaeologist at the University of Oregon, said that the biggest challenge is now trying to determine who carved them.

'If you speak with Native Americans they will tell you they were made there and that is obviously their people and their artwork,' Jenkins explained.

'But approaching it from a scientific point of view, it is impossible to connect these to any tribal group.' "Snip"

Now this one (1)
Quote:
Princess Diana taken out by SAS hit squad:
The fight for the truth about the death of Princess Diana took a surprising turn this weekend when a former SAS black-ops soldier let slip how his hit squad was behind the murder of Princess Diana. Expect this latest bombshell to be relegated to the annals of conspiracy theory lore, and for the said soldier’s testimony to written off by mainstream pundits as mere Walter Mitty nonsense.

They'll have to fend for themselves, Simon. It'll be like that all over; do you think that Gen. Boykin was talking about a "blue-sky" scenario? Why do people think that the "economic collapse" is something that's contrived by greedy bankers? They thought all this would be over by now, and they'd be safe in their bunkers! The "housing bubble", the removal of Glass-Steagall, printing fiat currency, hiding the M3 (or is it M1?) money supply, the carelessness with which deficits were run up (by conservatives; they only find their roots of fiscal responsibility once liberals take power from them), and on and on and on.....there doesn't have to be an "economic collapse" in an otherwise-normal world, if all the factories are still standing, minerals still in the ground, (and supplemented by recyclables) and even the explosion of renewable-energy resources are all clamoring to be used just as they used to be. Obviously something hidden from the public is happening to give the impression of a pending "economic collapse", other than the fact the greedy bankers that have been in charge have made an industry of "derivatives" and other forms of speculation the likes of which haven't been seen since the Roaring Twenties. Hmmmm....what might that be....lmao.

(That was a good video, btw; thanks.)

Here's one that appeared in the left-leaning Daily Kos:

Two excellent quotes from it:

"More Mayberry and less Fallujah"

and

"There's always free cheese in a mousetrap".

Its a game of cat and mouse and because of whats happened it is likely that a new tranche of information that embarrasses GCHQ will be published 'soon'.

This was suggested a short while ago and will be done in "revenge" at the event described below.

Simon

=============================

The partner of the journalist for the British newspaper called The Guardian which has been publishing Ed Snowdens' whistleblowing data was detained under a law that is supposed to be used to stop terrorists (and for no other purpose) whilst changing aircraft at London's Heathrow airport.

He was flying from Berlin to Rio de Janeiro and was said to be carrying some encrypted classified data that we can assume had come from Ed Snowden.

He was questioned under schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000, a controversial law which applies only at airports, ports and border areas and allows officers to stop, search, question and detain individuals for up to nine hours, after which they must be formally arrested or released. Usually people are released within one hour.

Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act has been widely criticised for giving police broad powers under the guise of anti-terror legislation to stop and search individuals without prior authorisation or reasonable suspicion – setting it apart from other police powers.

Those stopped have no automatic right to legal advice and it is a criminal offence to refuse to co-operate with questioning under schedule 7, which critics say is a curtailment of the right to silence.

Although eventually released, officials confiscated electronic equipment including his mobile phone, laptop, camera, memory sticks, DVDs and games consoles. These are expected to be returned after a thorough investigation for “illicit” data.

Apparently the US authorities were given a “heads up” before he was detained!

The link below contains more details, however some of this message was sourced from a TV current affairs feature I watched a few minutes ago.

“The best defense is knowing what
your enemies are up to, before they
know you know it.”
General Michael Hayden

Published on Monday, August 12, 2013 by The Guardian
Michael Hayden, Bob Schieffer and the Media's Reverence of National Security Officials
The former NSA director is held up by the Face the Nation host as an objective authority when he is everything but that
by Glenn Greenwald

In 2006, the New York Times won the Pulitzer Prize for having revealed that the NSA was eavesdropping on Americans without warrants. The reason that was a scandal was because it was illegal under a 30-year-old law that made it a felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison for each offense, to eavesdrop on Americans without those warrants. Although both the Bush and Obama DOJs ultimately prevented final adjudication by raising claims of secrecy and standing, and the "Look Forward, Not Backward (for powerful elites)" Obama DOJ refused to prosecute the responsible officials, all three federal judges to rule on the substance found that domestic spying to be unconstitutional and in violation of the statute.Michael Hayden, former head of NSA and CIA, has become a leading media defender of government eavesdropping. (Photograph: Brendan Smialowski/Getty Images)

The person who secretly implemented that illegal domestic spying program was retired Gen. Michael Hayden, then Bush's NSA director. That's the very same Michael Hayden who is now frequently presented by US television outlets as the authority and expert on the current NSA controversy - all without ever mentioning the central role he played in overseeing that illegal warrantless eavesdropping program.

As Marcy Wheeler noted: "the 2009 Draft NSA IG Report that Snowden leaked [and the Guardian published] provided new details about how Hayden made the final decision to continue the illegal wiretapping program even after DOJ's top lawyers judged it illegal in 2004. Edward Snowden leaked new details of Michael Hayden's crime." The Twitter commentator sysprog3 put it this way:

Inviting Hayden to comment on regulation of surveillance is like having Bernie Madoff comment on regulation of Wall Street."

But inviting Hayden to do exactly that is what establishment media outlets do continually. Just yesterday, Face the Nation featured Hayden as the premiere guest to speak authoritatively about how trustworthy the NSA is, how safe it keeps us, and how wise President Obama is for insisting that all of its programs continue. As usual, no mention was made of the role he played in secretly implementing an illegal warrantless spying program aimed directly at the American people. As most establishment media figures do when quivering in the presence of national security state officials, the supremely sycophantic TV host Bob Schieffer treated Hayden like a visiting dignitary in his living room and avoided a single hard question.

But worse than the omission of Hayden's NSA history is his current - and almost always unmentioned - financial stake in the very policies he is being invited to defend. Hayden is a partner in the Chertoff Group, a private entity that makes more and more money by increasing the fear levels of the US public and engineering massive government security contracts for their clients. Founded by former Homeland Security secretary Michael Chertoff, it's filled with former national security state officials who exploit their connections in and knowledge of Washington to secure hugely profitable government contracts for their clients. As the Huffington Post's Marcus Baram reported:

"After last month's plot to send bombs from Yemen to the United States aboard a cargo plane, former U.S. Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff's whiskerless visage was ubiquitous on cable news. Solemnly warning that the nation needed stronger security procedures . . . .

"Almost unmentioned in these appearances: Chertoff has a lot to gain financially if some of these measures are adopted. Between his private consulting firm, The Chertoff Group, and seats on the boards of giant defense and security firms, he sits at the heart of the giant security nexus created in the wake of 9/11, in effect creating a shadow homeland security agency. Chertoff launched his firm just days after President Barack Obama took office, eventually recruiting at least 11 top officials from the Department of Homeland Security, as well as former CIA director General Michael Hayden and other top military brass and security officials. . . .

"'They're trying to scare the pants off the American people that we need these things," [passenger rights advocate Kate] Hanni told The Huffington Post. 'When Chertoff goes on TV, he is basically promoting his clients and exploiting that fear to make money. Fear is a commodity and they're selling it. The more they can sell it, the more we buy into it. When American people are afraid, they will accept anything.'"

The article further detailed how much of a huge financial stake the Chertoff Group has in scaring the nation about cyber threats and obtaining large NSA contracts relating to cyber-warfare. Hayden's bio at the Chertoff Group says that his focus includes "technological intelligence and counterintelligence (communications and data networks)" and "brief[ing] clients on intelligence matters worldwide – including developments in cybersecurity – that may affect their businesses."

In other words, Hayden has a clear financial stake in the very NSA debates he's put on television to adjudicate. And while he's sometimes identified as a principal of the Chertoff Group, what that means - the conflicts of interest it creates in the very debates in which he's participating - is almost never mentioned. That's because one inviolable rule for establishment TV hosts like Bob Schieffer is that US military officials must be treated with the greatest reverence and must never be meaningfully challenged (contrast that with what actual journalist David Halberstam described as the "proudest moment" of his career: when he stood up in press conferences in 1963 in Vietnam to make clear he knew US generals were lying, to the point that the Pentagon demanded that his New York Times editors remove him from covering the war).

That political figures have undisclosed financial stakes in the policy positions they pretend to favor is so common in Washington that it has become normalized, something its mavens barely recognize as noteworthy. The same is true of former national security officials who exploit their credentials, their connections, and - especially - the Fear of Terrorism to generate massive profits for themselves. But that this manipulation is incredibly common in sleazy Washington does not justify having TV-journalists conceal those conflicts when presenting these officials as authorities and experts. When it comes to people like Michael Hayden, the profoundly unhealthy reverence harbored by TV journalists means that they would never dare utter any such facts. We are thus subjected to "journalism" in which those least qualified to opine, and those with the greatest personal interests in the outcome of debates, are presented as objective experts, while viewers remain entirely uninformed about all of this.

Post Re: The Golden Thread, Volume 6.5 2012
Snowden - Continuing to show how the Establishment elite blithely lies, and snoops, and snoops some more, and lies about why

From an email from The Slatest:

Quote:
In an article posted on the Guardian website today, the British newspaper’s editor describes attempts by the British government to intimidate the paper into halting its reporting on the documents leaked by Edward Snowden, going so far as to physically destroy the paper's hard drives containing copies of the leaked documents.

In his story, Guardian editor-in-chief Alan Rusbridger, describes being contacted by a senior British government official who told him to return, or destroy, the material the paper had received from Edward Snowden.

The mood toughened just over a month ago, when I received a phone call from the centre of government telling me: "You've had your fun. Now we want the stuff back." There followed further meetings with shadowy Whitehall figures. The demand was the same: hand the Snowden material back or destroy it. I explained that we could not research and report on this subject if we complied with this request. The man from Whitehall looked mystified. "You've had your debate. There's no need to write any more."

The British government also threatened to stop the Guardian’s reporting on the material provided by Snowden, Rusbridger writes.

During one of these meetings I asked directly whether the government would move to close down the Guardian's reporting through a legal route – by going to court to force the surrender of the material on which we were working. The official confirmed that, in the absence of handover or destruction, this was indeed the government's intention.

Rusbridger says that he asked the official if he understood that the paper could and, in fact, largely were reporting the story from outside of the U.K.
The man was unmoved. And so one of the more bizarre moments in the Guardian's long history occurred – with two GCHQ security experts overseeing the destruction of hard drives in the Guardian's basement just to make sure there was nothing in the mangled bits of metal which could possibly be of any interest to passing Chinese agents. "We can call off the black helicopters," joked one as we swept up the remains of a MacBook Pro.

The revelations ..... come on the heels of the nearly nine-hour detention of Guardian columnist Glenn Greenwald’s assistant.... In an article on the Guardian website on Sunday, Greenwald said that Miranda’s possessions, including his laptop, cellphone, DVDs, and USB drives had been confiscated. Greenwald described Miranda’s detention as an act of intimidation. “This was obviously designed to send a message of intimidation to those of us working journalistically on reporting on the NSA and its British counterpart, the GCHQ,” he wrote.

A U.S. security official told Reuters that intimidation was the aim of the British government.

One U.S. security official told Reuters that one of the main purposes of the British government's detention and questioning of Miranda was to send a message to recipients of Snowden's materials, including the Guardian, that the British government was serious about trying to shut down the leaks.

The Cosmic Jokester is at it again; it just occurred to me that the last name of the guy detained at Heathrow is "MIRANDA". Talk about "MIRANDA RIGHTS"!
Stunning! "You have the right to remain silent (while we hold you for nine hours and erase your USB sticks, hard-drives and cell-phone memory). Anything you say (or have on said drives) can and will be used against you and the media you work for, for having the courage to tell the public the truth about our paranoia."

Hayden and Alexander, Chertoff and their simpering GCHQ pooches are the laughing stock of the educated world, their "authoritative statements to CNN" notwithstanding. These are some really twisted people, who have largely forgotten the US Constitution is a living document, and not some quaint relic from frontier days.

I just want to know, how do you guys sleep at night? (I'm talking about Dadmiral and the rest of the gang at Booz Allen, their public front the "NSA", and especially The Carlyle Group.)

Dadmiral's successor and underling, former DCI and NSA Director Mike Hayden (a/k/a the 'Evil Porky Pig') goes so far as to call all of us who support Ed Snowden's efforts as "nihilists, anarchists, activists, Lulzsec, Anonymous, twentysomethings who haven't talked to the opposite sex in five or six years".
(Spoken while he addressed the so-called Bipartisan Policy Center.)

Hayden provided his speculation during a speech on cybersecurity to a Washington group, the Bipartisan Policy Center, in which he confessed to being deliberately provocative.

Here's Evil Porky now, waxing "authoritatively":

On a related note; why are "boat people" such a problem lately for Australia, so much that PM Rudd made a big show of signing treaties with a couple of other island-nations nearby?

At a press conference last week in Canberra, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Papua New Guinean leader Peter O’Neill shook hands and ceremoniously signed the over-sized document with over-sized pens. Let’s look at the terms of the agreement. AUSTRALIA GETS: A pledge from P.N.G. to establish a new system for illegal immigrants. The migrants will now be herded up and placed in detention centers. PAUPA NEW GUINEA GETS: Australian dollars. Specifically, they will give nearly a billion dollars to build hospitals and universities. Yea! Everyone wins!

Australia’s decision to permanently resettle refugees in Papua New Guinea has been met with shock by many locals, quickly followed by anger and a sense of betrayal.

Under Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s plan the developing Pacific island state will resettle an unlimited number of Australia’s asylum seekers who arrive by boat, if they are found to be refugees. In return, PNG will receive extra aid from Australia for hospitals and universities.

A day after Rudd’s announcement, made on Friday, many in PNG were still unaware of the pact. Silence reigned in the mainstream press....

Image

Then, there's the similar treaty with Nauru, under-reported in the MSM:

Image

Wow, such a big deal for such a tiny island:

Image

What's going on, with the xenophobia? Simple; Australia knows what's coming, and even the pious good-hearted types that normally run as Labor or Liberal know that the country isn't going to be able to house the boat refugees coming in from Indonesia and Malaysia even temporarily while they "process applications", so they just pre-empted the whole issue. Only the eastern third or so of Australia is expected to survive, so now, not a single "boat refugee" will be allowed on Australian soil. Straight to PNG! Sorry Lothar! If they're found to be industrious, able to contribute, they'll be allowed to stay.....at PNG! STILL no admittance to Australia! It's the Pacific Solution, to protect fr33k and the other Aussies Down Under from inundation.

Quote:
From now on, any asylum seeker who arrives in Australia by boat will have no chance of being settled in Australia as refugees. Asylum seekers taken to Christmas Island will be sent to Manus and elsewhere in Papua New Guinea for assessment of their refugee status. If they are found to be genuine refugees they will be resettled in Papua New Guinea... If they are found not to be genuine refugees they may be repatriated to their country of origin or be sent to a safe third country other than Australia. These arrangements are contained within the Regional Resettlement Arrangement signed by myself and the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea just now. - Prime Minister Kevin Rudd of Australia, July 2013

ahh, here it is.... I knew it was in here somewhere:

NL/ZT, in July 28th newsletter http://www.zetatalk.com/newsletr/issue356.htm wrote:
Prime Minister Rudd also quickly took measures to ensure that the boat people from Indonesia and elsewhere would not arrive on Australian shores. Cobbling out an agreement with New Guinea, all boat people in the future would be sent promptly there. Quick, before the announcement, make arrangements!

So, why now? Because the first news of the day as the eye of the MSM wakes up at the International Dateline, Wed. Aug. 21, 2013, announces the resettlement program has finally begun:

Thanks Don, Sky and Freak for interesting posts on the situation in Australia.

I wanted to post (as a knee jerk reaction BTW) that this was all about racism. Did a little research and shut my mouth! :crylaugh

Here is some of the info I found while researching this issue:

1. the detention center above was mostly burned to the ground in late July due to riots there about the length of processing.

2. Most of these refugees are from Afghanistan, Iran, Palestine, and the Sudan meaning they are Muslim. Yet they are being smuggled through the one of the largest Muslim countries - Indonesia - in transit to Australia. Why?

3. Why aren't the wealthier Muslim nations like Saudi Arabia, Quatar, and Abu Dhabi accepting these "refugees?"

Interesting...

Hello Blue, re: question 3, yes thats indeed something to ponder - maybe because as long as there are problems elsewhere so the leaders of these countries have a tool with which to divert the focus of any of their own people who have a grievance with life in that country.

I suspect that there is no shortage of funds to help the Palestinians arm themselves... just as long as its all for warfare and not used to raise standards of living / increase education and generally make life civilised.

Israel is said to have tried doing this, without sucess. This was years ago, before the settlements issue - which is something else.

===========================

Don, re: Nibiru, here is a contrary POV - yes its coming, but it will be a much easier passage than the total doom many are predicting.

Quote:
Nibiru is back in the news again. There's an interview circulating through the Internet from a former NASA employee now turned whistleblower. She discusses not only Nibiru's passing, but the plans of the "Powers That Be" (PTB) to prepare for it. Needless to say, this interview is scaring the heck out of people. I cannot tell you how many times I've received emails about it. In order to avoid having to retype the same answer, I'm sharing it in this weekly message.

If you look back at my weekly messages (Sept./Oct. 2011) during the time that Comet Elenin came through, you will note the Nibiruans' position. They informed us that if Elenin passes with minor upset, then so would Nibiru. (See links at bottom)

The Nibiruans' position was based on 2 things:

1. Elenin's trajectory

2. The level of our collective consciousness.

much more at link:

http://archive.aweber.com/nc_subscribers/Jva5Y/h/Jelaila_s_Weekly_Message_.htm

The Zetans were not wrong... its just that things have changed since they first contacted us, and their message needs to as well.

Or could Jelaila's contacts be sugar-coating their message?

A big ole Texas size hat tip to Itchingcarpenter at Democratic Underground for this:

Quote:
The Confidential Memo at the Heart of the Global Financial Crisis

By Greg Palast

When a little birdie dropped the End Game memo through my window, its content was so explosive, so sick and plain evil, I just couldn't believe it.

The Memo confirmed every conspiracy freak’s fantasy: that in the late 1990s, the top US Treasury officials secretly conspired with a small cabal of banker big-shots to rip apart financial regulation across the planet. When you see 26.3 percent unemployment in Spain, desperation and hunger in Greece, riots in Indonesia and Detroit in bankruptcy, go back to this End Game memo, the genesis of the blood and tears.

The Treasury official playing the bankers’ secret End Game was Larry Summers. Today, Summers is Barack Obama’s leading choice for Chairman of the US Federal Reserve, the world’s central bank. If the confidential memo is authentic, then Summers shouldn’t be serving on the Fed, he should be serving hard time in some dungeon reserved for the criminally insane of the finance world.

The memo is authentic.

I had to fly to Geneva to get confirmation and wangle a meeting with the Secretary General of the World Trade Organisation, Pascal Lamy. Lamy, the Generalissimo of Globalisation, told me,

“The WTO was not created as some dark cabal of multinationals secretly cooking plots against the people... We don’t have cigar-smoking, rich, crazy bankers negotiating.”

Then I showed him the memo.

It begins with Larry Summers’ flunky, Timothy Geithner, reminding his boss to call the Bank bigshots to order their lobbyist armies to march:

“As we enter the end-game of the WTO financial services negotiations, I believe it would be a good idea for you to touch base with the CEOs…”

To avoid Summers having to call his office to get the phone numbers (which, under US law, would have to appear on public logs), Geithner listed the private lines of what were then the five most powerful CEOs on the planet. And here they are:

Goldman Sachs: John Corzine (212)902-8281

Merrill Lynch: David Kamanski (212)449-6868

Bank of America: David Coulter (415)622-2255

Citibank: John Reed (212)559-2732

Chase Manhattan: Walter Shipley (212)270-1380

Lamy was right: They don’t smoke cigars. Go ahead and dial them. I did, and sure enough, got a cheery personal hello from Reed – cheery until I revealed I wasn't Larry Summers. (Note: The other numbers were swiftly disconnected. And Corzine can’t be reached while he faces criminal charges.)

It's not the little cabal of confabs held by Summers and the banksters that’s so troubling. The horror is in the purpose of the "end game” itself.

Let me explain:

The year was 1997. US Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin was pushing hard to de-regulate banks. That required, first, repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act to dismantle the barrier between commercial banks and investment banks. It was like replacing bank vaults with roulette wheels.

Second, the banks wanted the right to play a new high-risk game: “derivatives trading”. JP Morgan alone would soon carry $88 trillion of these pseudo-securities on its books as “assets”.

Deputy Treasury Secretary Summers (soon to replace Rubin as Secretary) body-blocked any attempt to control derivatives.

But what was the use of turning US banks into derivatives casinos if money would flee to nations with safer banking laws?

The answer conceived by the Big Bank Five: eliminate controls on banks in every nation on the planet -- in one single move. It was as brilliant as it was insanely dangerous.

How could they pull off this mad caper? The bankers' and Summers' game was to use the Financial Services Agreement (or FSA), an abstruse and benign addendum to the international trade agreements policed by the World Trade Organisation.

Until the bankers began their play, the WTO agreements dealt simply with trade in goods – that is, my cars for your bananas. The new rules devised by Summers and the banks would force all nations to accept trade in "bads" – toxic assets like financial derivatives.

Until the bankers’ re-draft of the FSA, each nation controlled and chartered the banks within their own borders. The new rules of the game would force every nation to open their markets to Citibank, JP Morgan and their derivatives “products”.

And all 156 nations in the WTO would have to smash down their own Glass-Steagall divisions between commercial savings banks and the investment banks that gamble with derivatives.

The job of turning the FSA into the bankers’ battering ram was given to Geithner, who was named Ambassador to the World Trade Organisation.

Who the hell cares anyway.... MickySoft has been doing this since XP imo!!! What sickens me is that no-one acknowledges this and stops using their CRAP software OS!!!

Our world is a sick place when every neighbour now has the gall to Spy on their neighbour! I say DAMN the user who get hacked by their OS supplier! Serves you right!

Our world is truly falling apart with no I N T E G R I T Y left in this world. I don't care much more for all the crappy conspiracy bull dust as well as all the fear mongering about the E N D of the W O R L D....every day in every way never getting better....!

I now refuse negative reports of anything and only push positive towards ALL who deserve it! And that's just about every living Soul on this planet.

I will be the C H A N G E that I want to see.

oh my... thats dramatic - the way those trees just sunk under the water and how the remaining trees suddenly had what looked like several feet of their trunk thrust above the waterline - imagine it happening in a city, 40 floor tower that sinks and vanishes; subway train that never arrives at the next station...

whilst events like this will scare the sh*t out of people its still not as bad a poleshift would be!

---------------------------

The contents and implication of that Confidential Memo at the Heart of the Global Financial Crisis does not surprise me in the least.

Hearing that Windows 8 has backdoors is also not surprising. Maybe thats why some bods @Microsoft seemed to sabotage it by not giving it a proper start menu? Without the start menu* the software is virtually unusable by people with computers that use mice. I noticed how it wants to activate online asap, unlike older versions of Windows which gave you a month. I got around that through the simple expedient of never connecting to the Internet when on Windows 8.
But I need Win8 because its better than Win 7 at multithreaded video editing.

If only there was a really good and affordable Linux video editing software.

(*I use the free Classic Shell).

Try Kdenlive Simon

Kdenlive is the closest you will find to Adobe Premier. While it's not flawless is has made impressive progress in the last couple of years and can be considered stable. The feature set is one most extensive in open-source nonlinear video editors. Plus, Kdenlive can use the frei0r plug-ins making it one of the most versatile video editors on Linux. It's not as easy to use than Openshot and Pitivi, but so much better than the dreadful Cinelerra.

Again, this picture was painted decades ago, when the power-elite (the "human authorities") were cursed to know the outcome might arrive j-u-s-t around the time their native-born flesh-containers would normally expire, thus adding the anxiety of trying to ensure their flesh-pots could survive the battering of the decades (yeah, I'm talking about Henry the K and Poppy Bush, primarily) which was a principle component of the Burisch Distraction (read: Ganesh Particle, the 'fountain of youth', the 'Tree of Life', the 'Blue Apples').

I've tried painting this picture in succinct thumbnail versions for going on ten years now, but as with anything smacking of apocalypse and dark conspiracy, it tends to get ignored and avoided and outright denied, which is sadly understandable. I mean, it becomes self-evident after a moment of true contemplation; if true (for those that still muse on 'if'), it would mean the end of normal aspiration. That just occurred to me today, that word, "aspirations". We need them. The truth robs us of them. So we ignore them, stick our heads in the sand, and yet, as evil as the bastards of Majestic are, they're simply trying to allow us to keep holding on to our illusions, as if life will go on as normal as before, and they knew a long time ago we humans simply can't trust aliens, because they always lie to us. Even the 'good' ones. Even for 'good' reasons. So it's almost hopeless, trying to hold onto sanity in the face of understanding how all these things - and all the rest, too - are interconnected.

Is Aussie PM Rudd a 'bad guy'? Racist? Simple hard-a**? And doesn't Australia have a huge, huge huge chunk of vacant land out in the western 2/3rds of the 'continent'? Sure, but it's going back down under the sea soon, and only leave the eastern seaboard. Why DOESN'T Saudi Arabia (with an equivalent amount of vacant land, or close to it) take in all those boat refugees? After all, they're moslem too, aren't they? It's not about the vacant land, it's about the social services, and where the land IS. Can't blame Rudd, really. Obama's doing it too, as he's been travelling the world. Had Hillary tell 'em too. "Now don't be thinking you can send your refugees our way, we'll have our hands full with our own problems." Louisiana salt domes imploding, sinkholes from there to Florida, and north to Missouri. Sinkholes here in Pennsylvania. Forget those clumsy cover-up attempts to attribute it all to "fracking". Pshaw.

Then there's the issue of weird animal behavior. Sunday afternoon we had a huge, 600+-lb. black bear come ambling through the gardens and across the main street/highway. Not a care in the world. No-one hurt, but in Pittsburgh, the local news had similar stories, 2 of 'em, on other huge black bears coming into civilization. National news had it as an issue too; "7 bear attacks in 5 states". 12-yr-old girl mauled by one as she was jogging in Michigan. Most people don't think that's strange, but they're the ones that miss the chemtrails too. I can point out that it's news - because it isn't normal!! That's what makes it news!! Not only the bears, but my pal the local postman had a "huge bird" come "crashing into the storm-door just awhile ago". Wife called him at work, the dang thing did a lot of damage to the door. Didn't just fall out of the sky; it was purposefully flying into the door!! Like my drummer buddy Jef always asked, "what's up with THAT?!?" And another friend, in Florida, went out on her porch this morning to find a huge black snake right there on her porch! She freaked and screamed and the dang thing slithered away, but it's not normal!! That's why it's news!!

So; to recap, with all the animal weirdness (translation: earth wobble, magnetic fields distorted, affecting navigation systems of the animal kingdom AND humans), the 'circling of the Australian wagons' Down Under, and of course, the level just below the capstone - the Financial Meltdown. THIS is the penultimate level (meaning, the next-to-highest). Just as the planetary potentates have devised war schemes to sell the publics of the world on, to justify their massive spending sprees (and assist in population control), they knew they'd have an End Game to deal with because profit is all about that illusive margin between cost-to-produce and price-that-gets-paid that drives them on, and that means a chase for cheap labor until it's all chased down, and even the Third World nations have large middle classes that now have......

ASPIRATIONS.

Not Asperger's. HOPE. Keeping up with the Nguyens and Lees. Even Abdul and Mohammed want to keep up with the Kardashians. It was bound to happen, what with the US and it's 6% of the world's population using almost 40% of its resources post-WWII, and its war machine a 'racket' designed not to 'defend [the physical US] against invaders', but to intimidate the rest of the world into letting the global industrialists obtain the raw resources at obscenely-favorable prices. That was okay so long as the US middle class benefited, but soon that need to chase cheap labor began, ending with shipping the industrial infrastructure right out from under the American working class and overseas to cheaper working classes, with no minimum wage laws and middle-class standards of living. How to maintain such a situation with the poleshift a decade or even more away? Gut Glass-Steagall (to return to the false illusions of speculation, which is what 'derivatives' are), followed by a race to create a housing bubble that could hold an umbrella over them until they could run to their bunkers when 'IT' showed up in the sky - as a Second Sun. They knew all this, decades ago, but it wasn't until they confirmed it in Dec. 1983 that they could put into practice what we've feared, all along, while pooh-poohing the very idea. "Planet X" wasn't even allowed as a subject for discussion, but if it reared its ugly head while counting profits, scoff and use ridicule as loudly and obnoxiously as possible. And THAT is exactly what they did.

I wish it were easy as you say, Sky. And it's not as if I hadn't said the same thing, in a variety of ways, over the years. And it's not as if LOVE isn't a necessary ingredient to deal with it all, because it is.

But ultimately, there is only one thing that ties all these disparate things together, and puts them in an organized fashion that doesn't rely on "evil bankers" or simply "evil people" in order to do so. (It's not as if there aren't "evil bankers", but.....Larry [Sumners] and Timothy [Geithner] wouldn't see themselves as being "evil bankers", though they, along with Rubin, fit the bill). Personally, they're usually pretty good guys. I mean, I remember when Rubin went to the same Stones concert in 1995 that I went to. Gotta be okay if they'd go to a Stones show, right? Except that even fascists smoke weed and rock-out these days, too. Sigh.... I still have a modicum of respect for the "K"s and the other Brits that shared some interesting correspondence with me a few years ago, in the run-up to the 'Affidavit', which was supposed to be one way to enter the truth about the Majic folk into the "public datastream", but those guys were NOT interested in truly informing the public. A few discerning folks that could 'see' through all these charades, yes. The "interested few", yes. But woe betide the ignorant, clamoring for balls-on transparency. Bad form! Tsk, tsk! And that still holds true, despite my pronounced lamentations for Ed Snowden and his courageous efforts.

I've been reading all of the 'spying on us' comments - it is truly horrendous. I didn't realise that the UK was one of the worst 'Big Brother' societies. Our MSM hardly touches upon it - but thanks to the Guardian newspaper.

I was always worrying about 'Smart Meters', after reading so much negativity. Now the UK is promoting these devices - I am most concerned for our health. Why would you put a wi-fi-linked digital baby alarm in a cot FFS?

Please read this (I am hardwired on the phone and in my studio - but there is a wifi router in this house - I stay well clear)
Very very nasty....

Published on Aug 22, 2013
This clip is an excerpt from Take Back Your Power - a critical investigation of the Smart Metering phenomenon and Smart Grid. More than 5,000 studies now show RF/MW radiation to be harmful to human biology, animals and plants. Acute and chronic exposure to RF (radio-frequency) and MW (microwave) radiation can, even at very low power-densities, lead to not only the negative health effects shown in this video, but calcium ion damage in cells, endothelial cell dysfunction, nitric oxide depletion, oxidative stress, melatonin disruption, blood-brain-barrier leakage, DNA damage, sperm damage and more. Glucose metabolism changes within the brain are observable after just minutes of cell phone use.

The mechanisms for damage from non-thermal, non-ionising radiation exposure are now becoming clear.

Unfortunately, so-called "safety" thresholds maintained in the UK are woefully out of date and obsolete, permitting a deluge of highly-profitable, RF-emitting technologies to be introduced into our lives. Whilst attempts by campaigners in every country are being made to stem and reverse the tide of these environmental toxins, you can take positive action to protect yourself and your family by limiting your own exposure to RF and MW-emitting devices, such as Smart Meters, cell phones, WiFi routers and devices, wireless baby monitors, wireless alarm systems, wireless games consoles, etc

For more information on Smart Meters, visit http://www.StopSmartMeters.org.uk. To watch the Take Back Your Power documentary, from 5 September 2013, visit http://www.StopSmartMeters.org.uk/film

BTW - watching the Baltic Dry, the strange scenarios in gold on the disinfoweb economy - this scenario happened just before Oct 2008 - this the same pattern for a crash - so be warned - take any cash you can spare take out soon for there will be a number of 'bank-runs'. Something evil this way comes... And Israel/Saudis are funding the chemo attacks and blaming it on Syria - the MSM lies again. I despair - but the truth will out.

Another prob with Windows 8:
LEAKED: German Government Warns Key Entities Not To Use Windows 8 – Links The NSA
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2013 AT 7:37PM

“A Special Surveillance Chip”

According to leaked internal documents from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) that Die Zeit obtained, IT experts figured out that Windows 8, the touch-screen enabled, super-duper, but sales-challenged Microsoft operating system is outright dangerous for data security. It allows Microsoft to control the computer remotely through a built-in backdoor. Keys to that backdoor are likely accessible to the NSA – and in an unintended ironic twist, perhaps even to the Chinese.

The backdoor is called “Trusted Computing,” developed and promoted by the Trusted Computing Group, founded a decade ago by the all-American tech companies AMD, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, and Wave Systems. Its core element is a chip, the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), and an operating system designed for it, such as Windows 8. Trusted Computing Group has developed the specifications of how the chip and operating systems work together.

Its purpose is Digital Rights Management and computer security. The system decides what software had been legally obtained and would be allowed to run on the computer, and what software, such as illegal copies or viruses and Trojans, should be disabled. The whole process would be governed by Windows, and through remote access, by Microsoft.

Now there is a new set of specifications out, creatively dubbed TPM 2.0. While TPM allowed users to opt in and out, TPM 2.0 is activated by default when the computer boots up. The user cannot turn it off. Microsoft decides what software can run on the computer, and the user cannot influence it in any way. Windows governs TPM 2.0. And what Microsoft does remotely is not visible to the user. In short, users of Windows 8 with TPM 2.0 surrender control over their machines the moment they turn it on for the first time.

It would be easy for Microsoft or chip manufacturers to pass the backdoor keys to the NSA and allow it to control those computers. NO, Microsoft would never do that, we protest. Alas, Microsoft, as we have learned from the constant flow of revelations, informs the US government of security holes in its products well before it issues fixes so that government agencies can take advantage of the holes and get what they’re looking for.

Experts at the BSI, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Federal Administration warned unequivocally against using computers with Windows 8 and TPM 2.0. One of the documents from early 2012 lamented, “Due to the loss of full sovereignty over the information technology, the security objectives of ‘confidentiality’ and ‘integrity’ can no longer be guaranteed.”

Elsewhere, the document warns, “This can have significant consequences on the IT security of the Federal Administration.” And it concludes, “The use of ‘Trusted Computing’ technology in this form ... is unacceptable for the Federal Administration and for operators of critical infrastructure.”

Another document claims that Windows 8 with TPM 2.0 is “already” no longer usable. But Windows 7 can “be operated safely until 2020.” After that other solutions would have to be found for the IT systems of the Administration.

The documents also show that the German government tried to influence the formation of the TPM 2.0 specifications – a common practice in processes that take years and have many stakeholders – but was rebuffed. Others have gotten what they wanted, Die Zeitwrote. The NSA for example. At one of the last meetings between the TCG and various stakeholders, someone dropped the line, “The NSA agrees.”

Rüdiger Weis, a professor at the Beuth University of Technology in Berlin, and a cryptographic expert who has dealt with Trusted Computing for years, told Die Zeit in an interview that Microsoft wanted to completely change computing by integrating “a special surveillance chip” in every electronic device. Through that chip and the processes of Windows 8, particularly Secure Boot, “users largely lose control over their own hardware and software.”

But wouldn’t it contribute to higher levels of security? Certain aspects actually raise the risks, he said. For example, during production, the secret key to that backdoor is generated outside the chip and then transferred to the chip. During this process, copies of all keys can be made. “It’s possible that there are even legal requirements to that effect that cannot be reported.” And so the TPM is “a dream chip of the NSA.”

Perhaps even more ominously, he added: “The other realistic scenario is that TPM chip manufactures don’t sit within reach of the NSA, but in China....”

Apple phased out the surveillance chips in 2009. Linux doesn’t comply with the standards, and Linux machines cannot use the technology. Microsoft defended itself the best it could. The TPM is activated by default because most users accept defaults, it said. If users would have to activate the functions themselves, many users would end up operating a less secure system. And of course, government regulations that would require that users have the option to opt in or out would be unwise.

Instead, hardware manufactures could build machines with the chips deactivated, Microsoft said. If you want to have control over your computer, that’s what you’d have to buy. Another option would be to switch to Linux machines, something that the city government of Munich has started 10 years ago; the changeover should be complete before the year is up. This aspect of the NSA debacle cannot possibly be twisted into bullish news for Microsoft.

China is the promised land for our revenue-challenged tech heroes: over a billion consumers, economic growth several times that of the US, and companies splurging on IT. Layer the “cloud” on top, and China is corporate nirvana: a high-growth sector in a high-growth country. Or was nirvana, now that the NSA’s hyperactive spying practices have spilled out. Read.... US Tech Companies Raked Over The Coals In China.

Enough of nasties today.... :flame

fr33k, thanks for the links.

Avid, it just so happened that someone from British Gas came today on a pre-arranged appointment to discuss a new hot water boiler... I am not the person who makes the decisions, nor pays the bills, but I was in on the discussion and the saleman was tryiing to convince us to switch to BG as the energy supplier and then we would be given a smart meter and benefit from free electricity on Saturdays (their latest wheeze, coming soon).

He added that after 2019 these will be compulsory.

He also plans to install a wireless thermostat, instead of using the present-day wired version.

I think I mentioned before that when people here bought an iPad and I had to enable the wireless function on the broadband router I had to relocate that router (as a matter of urgency) because it was very close to this desk and within minutes I started feeling "strange sensations"... astringent dry mouth, some sort of pressure which I cannot even describe (dont know the words) in my head, and more.

But that only partially solved the situation, as I now also have a tablet computer and you should see the number of wireless signals it finds! Ironically, when in this room it often fails to see the signal from my router, which does not bother me at all. When I do not actively need the wireless connection I leave the tablet in flight mode, and always leaved the GPS and Bluetooth switched off.

When I was 15 my parents bought their first microwave oven and for a few weeks I could tell if food had been cooked in it. Its hard to explain, there was just that slight "something" that felt different.

I've heard about the TPM module on computers from the "big box" companies. They make it nigh-on impossible to install Linux, except perhaps Susie which I thought was the only Linux flavour that has agreed to kow-tow to Miscrosoft's demands to do what is required to allow it to work with the TPM modules. My computer came from components that I assembled myself and does not have that TPM module.

As for the economy, yes many are saying that it will experience gyrations within the next few months. Have you noticed how "all of a sudden" the media is telling us that the economy is starting to grow much more rapidly than was expected? Is it a trap to encourage people to invest in the stock market - so that they can be defrauded later this when the stock market has a crash?

Have you seen this website? http://investmentwatchblog.com/? It has a constant stream of updating links to news articles which are mostly on the theme of looming financial mayhem.

Avid, Simon, thanks for that info re WiFi; you may recall fairly recently that recall15 had posted a video of the "Andromedan Council", or maybe it was the zetas talking about the Pleidians, and the claim 'they' made about how the power-elite was planning on using cell-phone towers to dis-able we poor average humans in one fell swoop, but they - the Andromedans or Pleidians - would protect us from this evil plot. I've been looking for the past half-hour but can't seem to find it; when I do I'll re-post. I think it's part of the same scheme to prevent us from rising up in righteous rebellion when the time comes. But I do believe that's one of the scenarios the aliens are allowed to interfere with, to maintain an equitable karma.

Nine-week training course for UN Peacekeepers in CONUS to learn Urban Warfare, English, and US weapons systems beginning 4th week of July for 386,000 troops to be completed by October 1st. $11 million in antibiotics to be delivered to FEMA region III by October 1st ordered by CDC. No leave will be allowed for US military from September 28th thru November 5th. All DHS agents MUST qualify with sidearm, shotgun and AR 15 by September 28th. POTUS mandates to FEMA and DHS concerning support for metropolitan communities dealing with the extreme climate change MUST be complete by October 1st. These mandates were issued during the last three weeks. Over 300 school systems in the US have determined they need three-day kits for each school AND three-day kits for each student to take with them. All deliveries are scheduled for the month of September. All National Guard units will complete riot control and disaster assistance training during this years annual two week training. All units MUST have their training complete by September 30th. Daily testing of the Emergency Broadcast System to begin on September 25th and run thru October 2nd. [and from another] http://wwwwakeupamericans-spree.blogspo ... hNEoD_3OFI Region three includes, DC, DE, MD, PA, VA, WV. [and from another] I think it’s extremely interesting that this facebook question coincides with the Prime Minister of Canada seeking a prorogue of government. Is this yet another piece falling into place for the announcement team and those who do not want to deal with the news (Harper and his government)? [and from another] http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2 ... ation.html Stephen Harper to seek prorogation of Parliament. Conservative government plans to kick off fall session with October throne speech. “There will be a new throne speech in the fall, obviously the House will be prorogued in anticipation of that. We will come back — in October is our tentative timing," The Prime Minister's Office later clarified that Harper will ask for Parliament to be prorogued before the scheduled return of the House on Sept. 16, meaning Parliament will not sit again until after the throne speech in October.

Are the clues pointing to October indicative of an October announcement? They come from varied sources and address varied issues. Donald Trump may think of himself as on the inside track, but he is not privy to the announcement date, and his interests are primarily political. For FEMA to be increasing its inventory in states clustered around Washington DC is not addressing the entire nation and is likely just the result of an inventory audit for this cluster of states. And a throne speech in Canada, which is part of the British Commonwealth, is likely to be addressing the issue of the aging Queen’s successor.

After watching:

And reading:

Quote:
“Paulson told congress that he had the full support of President Bush (43) to declare martial law and arrest members of congress and their families.

understand that 911 was a coup

Think back to how quickly the Patriot Act was passed, with Congressmen admitting that they voted for without even reading it. We now know what the long term consequences were to that. Now you can add two and two together on that. The Constitution became a roll of toilet paper on that day to the coupmeisters.
A bit trickier is why have the Treasury Secretary deliver such an ultimatum and not a Pentagon chief or Attorney general. The answer is in what happened financially to us afterwards that was really part of the coup, and all the prestaging that had been set up for years earlier...and then you will know why Paulson was giving Congress the kiss from the Don Corleo-Bush

Martial Law, the Financial Bailout, and War

Quote:
“Here are the original remarks by Senator Inhofe:
Speaking on Tulsa Oklahoma’s 1170 KFAQ, when asked who was behind threats of martial law and civil unrest if the bailout bill failed, Senator James Inhofe named Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson as the source. “Somebody in D.C. was feeding you guys quite a story prior to the bailout, a story that if we didn’t do this we were going to see something on the scale of the depression, there were people talking about martial law being instituted, civil unrest….who was feeding you guys this stuff?,” asked host Pat Campbell. “That’s Henry Paulson,” responded Inhofe, “We had a conference call early on, it was on a Friday I think – a week and half before the vote on Oct. 1. So it would have been the middle … what was it – the 19th of September, we had a conference call. In this conference call – and I guess there’s no reason for me not to repeat what he said, but he said – he painted this picture you just described. He said, ‘This is serious. This is the most serious thing that we faced.’”5
Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA 27th District) reported the same threat on the Congressional floor (Rep. Sherman later downplayed his remarks slightly on the Alex Jones show):

Can we make sense of this ? :
What is the relationship with EBE.
The reasons I see are:
1. Human potential of what we will become in time (seems kinda selfish as a reason)
2. The vast amazing diverse planet we live on (look at the creation around us)

The EBE type I see are:
1. EBE who want the planet to use in there own experiments of nature.
2. EBE that Fear the destiny of Humankind.
3. EBE who follow the One Higher Power of Love.

I choose #3
